Beautiful Backyard living recently extended our patio including paver flooring and a Gabel roof that ties into our existing roof. The end product is gorgeous and every step of the process was seamless and professional. Deanna Townsend managed our project handling every detail and communicating continually. Every contractor behaved professionally and were skilled in their craft. We could not recommend this company more highly and have plans to use them for future projects!

We hired Beautiful Backyard Living to design and build a covered porch on the back of our house, matching our house's existing architecture. They did a fantastic job building exactly what was planned and managed to address all of our concerns every step of the way.

We had been wanting to upgrade our small concrete slab into a larger covered patio for years and we are so glad we went with Beautiful Backyard Living! The team communication was phenomenal- with project manager, Marcia, keeping us updated every step of the way with scheduling, Zach with the planning and design, and Austin with project construction. Their team was also very patient with us as well as we debated the design we wanted and went through many trials and tribulations with our HOA! It all starts with the sales person. It started with The sales person and Marcia made it happen. The contractors were excellent and I couldn’t ask for better. They made an exact copy of an already there beautiful arbor and duplicated it for me. Top notch!

When I decided to build a cabana for our pool I reached out to Austin Cravens at Beautiful Backyard Living. Austin promptly scheduled our consultation and he and his colleagues showed up on time and ready to survey our backyard, review the pictures I’d presented and provide recommendations regarding the materials, paint and overall design before measuring the area where we proposed construction. Taking the pool plumbing into consideration, Austin designed our cabana for function as well as fashion and presented his design with options to consider for materials and paint within two weeks of the consultation. Once we agreed on the design and materials, Austin proposed a start date and we signed the contract to begin construction four weeks later, when materials could be onsite after ordering custom made beams and pre-cut boards. We had a few weather delays and material challenges, but each time Austin was prompt and considerate with his communications, and decisions were made in a timely manner that propelled the project forward. Within a few months our cabana was built, painted, furnished and ready for the summer. Austin was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with, as were the crews and trades who were onsite performing the work day-to-day. I would strongly recommend hiring Austin Cravens and am pleased to award Beautiful Backyard Living a five star review.

Beautiful Backyard Living actualized our vision of an outdoor escape during these trying times (Covid-19). The key to our project's success was having Susanda as our project manager; as she worked fluidly through any issues and always executed the patio plan with the highest levels of professionalism she maintained communication with us throughout the entire process. As with any project, there are unpredictables, Susanda navigated anything that arose with grace and timeliness. Beautiful Backyard Living did a wonderful job on building our backyard pergola. They use quality materials and the workers on our project took pride in their work. BBL also takes care of any city permits needed and will help you if needed when obtaining HOA approval. Our project manager, Deanna, was a pleasure to work with. She guided us throughout the process, and always kept us updated regarding the status of the project. Deanna takes great in her work and always responds to questions in a timely manner...she never leaves you hanging.

Bobby Cravens and team did a wonderful job with our Outdoor Kitchen. The workmanship was phenomenal and they helped us transform our backyard into an outdoor retreat. Very professional and prompt throughout the entire project. Took the time to address all of our questions and concerns. We couldn't be happier with the work they did!

Update: 6months later and we brought Bobby & team back to do more work for us! This time they re-did our fireplace and installed a barn door in our master bathroom. Once again, expectation were exceeded and the work done was incredible! We will continue to use them for future projects.

We had a pretty large job that Beautiful Backyard Living helped us with. They ended up extending our patio, putting up a Pergolas, putting green, a basketball court, Tejas rocks, rerouting sprinkles, removing a column from the patio, putting in compressed granite, and artificial grass.

Overall the backyard looks very impressive and our friends are always giving compliments. With a job this large, you will always have various hiccups that come. Bobby the owner of the company was very responsive and professional. He is a problem solver and always had some solution for us. We really liked working with him and his teams on the project.

They were very honest and tried to do the right thing.

Susanda Ortega was our excellent project manager on an extensive back porch remodel. We had the porch extended with stamped concrete, two pergolas built, and our tree encircled with a stone and brick flower edging. We also had electrical outlets and two ceiling fans added. From design to execution, Susanda helped us create our dream outdoor living space! In fact, she was able to design the second pergola around a semicircular window that other companies said couldn’t be done and made several improvements to our original concept that greatly enhanced the space. Susanda kept the disruption of the project to a minimum and kept us informed and involved every step of the way. She was sensitive to our schedules and keeping our pets safe during process. She was often on-site, overseeing the sub-contractors and actually doing a lot of the labor herself. Impressive lady! The quality of work and results were outstanding. We couldn’t be happier with our new space and will be using this company again for work on our front yard. If you are thinking of some outside improvements, give them a call and ask for Susanda!

We had BBL come and look at our back of our home. We have a very difficult shape on the back of the house and a severe hill.
Bobby came out and looked at the project and was able to make my dream a reality. He worked up a design that was beyond my expectations. The workers that he had do the project were great also. They were very respectful, great and hard working men. I can’t say how much I LOVE my patio. It just makes me happy every time I go out and relax on it. It reminds me of a cabin setting ….. just very peaceful and inviting. We have lived here for 6 years and I only wish I would have found BBL 5 1/2 years ago!!! Thanks, Bobby!!!

Beautiful Backyard Living was great. They did everything, permitting with the city, design work (they even made a rendering so we could see exactly what our new patio cover would look like), and all the construction. At every step of the process they were very communicative and acted quick to mitigate any delays. It took some time to get started, but that was right around several weeks of storms that was not the fault of BBL. There were also some delays with some of the inspections, but BBL worked with the city and did everything they could to keep things moving. After a disastrous kitchen remodel with a different contractor last year, we were very worried about having work completed on our house again, but BBL made this an enjoyable and exciting experience. I would absolutely use BBL again should we have any additional projects and will recommend them to anyone in the Frisco/Little Elm area.
