I had three ceiling fans and a set of lights installed recently—lights that I’d purchased from overseas and thought would work with my home setup. Unfortunately, they weren’t compatible with my electrical system. Instead of just telling me they wouldn’t work and walking away, he went above and beyond.

He contacted the international supplier himself, tried everything possible to troubleshoot the issue, and when we still couldn’t get a solution, he helped me arrange the return so I wouldn’t be stuck with products I couldn’t use.

The fans he installed look great, his customer service was exceptional, and his professionalism stood out the entire time.

When I find new lights, I’ll absolutely be calling him again. Highly recommend—quality work, honest communication, and someone who truly cares about doing things right. 🙌⚡️

He tackled a tricky job of fixing two loose recessed lights on a 20-foot ceiling which required setting up scaffolding, a process he handled with great caution. I just needed a quick replacement of my builder-grade dining room light fixture with a new upgrade, and Odion responded to my query quickly, provided an accurate assessment and quote, scheduled their visit, and did a great job. They were fast, thorough, professional, and even took extra care not to disturb any existing paint, doorways, etc—not something that can be said for every contractor! Cassidy also provided some advice on future projects I’m considering, as well as recommended a whole-house surge protector. Cox Electric repaired a non-functioning ceiling fan for us which had completely stopped working - it needed a new receiver and remote-control device. Cox is timely, cordial, thorough, and excellent problem solvers. Best electricians I know of in the Georgetown/Round Rock TX area. Give them a call.

Excellent service!! Called Cox Electric after our AC repair guy said we needed an electrician to replace a faulty breaker switch. They came out within an hour and got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. I'll be using Cox Electric for any future repairs!

We had an overnight emergency where our electricity went out. My Dad is disabled and on oxygen, so this was a really big deal for us. I asked for an estimate to have some additional work for surge protectors on both my home and on my son's home. Cox Electrical in the Austin area is one of the most professional and excellent services available. We utilized their services to install 30 new recessed lights, new flood lights, and new plug points (both indoor and outdoor). The pricing was competitive, and the job was completed professionally. James was an extremely professional individual who provided recommendations that were in the best interest of the house, rather than solely focusing on upselling. His confidence and explanation regarding how each part of the job could be completed with less complexity aided in my decision-making, avoiding unnecessary expenses. I have used Cox Electric in the past so I am a repeat customer. However, they just lost me. I had someone come out and troubleshoot why my exterior outlet wasn’t working. He pushed the gfci button on my front porch outlet and charged me $200. That seems absolutely ridiculous! And THEN prompted me to offer the electrician a tip. Here’s a tip, don’t charge people exorbitant prices for a 2 minute easy fix. That should have been a $50 service call at best .

Scheduling service was fast and easy, all communication was prompt and courteous. The service techs showed up on time worked efficiently and did a very professional job. The price was good and everyone was very friendly, courteous and a pleasure to work with.
