We came home after a graduation ceremony and were hit with a wave of heat—the A/C had gone out, and the house was burning up. We called Evans Home Services, and to our surprise, he arrived in less than 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had the part he needed right there, so there was no waiting around at all. He had everything up and running again in no time, thank goodness! Super professional, efficient, and friendly—highly recommend!

I called to get my washer serviced and the technician came out the same day and took great care of the problem! He actually came sooner than expected and was very professional and thorough and very reasonably priced! Evans Home Services will be my appliance repair for all future repair problems!

7/11/2025. I have a Kenmore drop-in range, and after we heard a loud pop during a baking session, the oven stopped heating and broiling. I called Evans Home Service, and to my surprise, a technician (Frank) was able to come to my home later the same day. I pulled the range out of the counter and set it up for easy access for Frank before he arrived (why pay the technician for something I can do myself?). By the time Frank arrived I had already determined that power to the unit was good, that continuity checked out in both heating elements, that oven controls worked fine, and that when the oven is turned on, no power gets to either heating element. Frank confirmed these measurements as well. I then told Frank that I had already replaced one of the power terminals on the oven heating element, because it had been charred (probably related to the loud pop). Consequently, we were both concerned that the control board might have to be replaced. Frank went ahead and opened up the control console, and there he discovered two heavily charred wires and associated connectors. He went right to work to replace the charred materials, and within a quarter hour, the oven was working again -- no issue with the control board at all. The family was elated, and I was doubly pleased to hear that the bill was only $178, which included the service call itself. You bet I'll be calling Evans Home Service if I have appliance problems in the future! Thanks, Frank.

Evans Home Services came out right away to fix our dryer. He was prompt, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the problem. He answered all my questions and generously helped me learn about the dryer and how to maintain it. I will 100% call him for all my future appliance maintenence and repairs. I am relieved to have found a trustworthy repair person whose prices are competitive and absolutely worth every penny.

I called late Friday afternoon and described my problem. He asked for the model number and told me he would be at the house by 10AM Saturday. He was there at 9:30AM with the new part in hand. He was even willing to come service the repair on a holiday, unbelievable service! I opted to postpone until after the holiday though. My dryer died on me after 30 ywars of reliable use. I spent 2 months taking my time to find a reliable appliance repair
service. I am proud to say that I found, Evans Home Services. I sent a texted message to them because I thought my belt had snapped and/or had broken. So, he came out and checked my dryer and let me to know that my dryer is not repairable due the drum coming apart. So he gave me a GREAT deal on a replacement dryer and also hauled off the old dyer. I can safety say I'm a customer for life. Wonderful customer service and KUDOS for being on time for my appointment.
