We have used HOUK to service our HVAC since we moved into this new house 3 years ago. We have their service plan and they do a great job of checking/prepping our HVAC for the upcoming season. The Service Tech Armel is always friendly and very informative about all aspects of the service procedure.

I will continue to service my central air conditioning with HOUK. The person they sent was very thorough and even answer all my questions. He was polite, very knowledgeable of there work and a guy who work hard. He love being part of the HOUK team and this show me, the great company we choose to service our air conditioning and EVR.

We had a gas leak and Jeremy came out quickly to help repair it and get us back up running same day. He was super courteous and considerate. Quick, thorough service and extremely polite. Very pleased with our service

My Houk technician today, Armel Paz, was exceptional! He was timely, extremely professional and pleasant, and explained everything he was doing to service my system. Chris and Chris came out today to service my 22 year old hvac unit. They were very good about explaining info about the filters and drain lines when I asked. Very courteous and helpful ! I’ll definitely call Houk again and hopefully get Chris and Chris again !

Raphael came out to do the semiannual maintenance on my newish 2 HVAC systems. He is extremely personable and professional and did a very thorough inspection of my systems. Before he left, he explained everything that he did and why. It was such a good experience!

The Staff at Houk was kind and professional through the whole process. They worked hard and did an amazing job. No matter the job, big or small if you want amazing service this company is top tier. On the other side they are compassionate and eager to help. They love the community and have a passion for giving back.

We've recently been having some issues with our air conditioner. Armel came out today and spent quite a bit of time investigating the issue. His customer service was 100/10 stars! I highly recommend this company because of him.

Initially Ron came out and replaced a zone board that had been affected by lightning. He informed me that the 3.5 ton unit that came with my new build was too small. He was right and he sold me a 5 ton unit. After installation, the first time it was warm, I tried to turn on the ac downstairs. It didn’t work. I had to take off work for him to come look, because he said he can’t do after hours for “warranty work”. It turns out they had forgotten to turn on the outside breaker. Which indicates they never tested it. He also told me I should get another $1200 part, because of a sensor to prevent freezing, which would somehow make it efficient. When I tried the upstairs ac for the first time, it didn’t work. After looking at it he said it was a broken zone damper, that was “working” when they installed the new unit. And though I hadn’t used the ac since they installed it, it just broke and now I needed to pay another 450 to 500.

Chris was absolutely amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely nice. During routine maintenance, Chris discovered an issue that had been lingering for years. Thanks to his expertise, instead of replacing the entire system, I only need a single part!
He took the time to explain everything in detail and even shared helpful information about air scrubbers that I had no idea even existed for residential units. I’m very impressed with Houk as a company—they truly focus on helping you, not upselling unnecessary products. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, and their annual plan is reasonably priced and worth every penny.

Juan Rangel was our tech today and he was awesome. Very informative, saved us a lot of money with educating us on what the issue was and the best and worst case scenarios of dealing with it. Got us all squared away, and saved money. It was a good day. Thank you Houk Air, and thanks again to Juan Rangel.

The technician Charles came to my home and look at my ac system for a quote. He sent the quote the next day. They schedule my appointment for a new system very quick. Charles and another technician came and installed the HVAC system and showed my wife how operate the thermostat on the pad and app. They even left to get cement needed to place under the unit because it's bigger than the old unit. The service Houk provide was great. The will be installing my other unit when it needs replacing.

Technician assisted us with what’s apparently called “dirty sock syndrome” on our brand new units. I guess this dirty sock smell happens from humidity in the attic where the HVAC units are. We had the condenser coils cleaned with an anti-microbial and anti mildew product. The technician also showed us a ventilation control system that we did not know that we had and apparently that filter needs to be cleaned out every so often. Time will tell if the smell is 100% gone since the service was just performed yesterday but so far we’ve seen an Improvement. Overall, I don’t feel like I fully understand why this is happening on a 1.5 yr old system but will Continue to educate myself and make sure that we are maintaining what we need to maintain on our end. We signed up for their annual maintenance plan, which includes two visits for both units annually. The technician also educated on the S on what to pour into the lines to keep things clear so we will continue doing that every three months when we switch out our air filter. I really appreciated the education and time the technician spent here. I know there was a lot of focus on the air-conditioning system and I forgot to ask about the furnace Since we are in between weather patterns here in Texas. Overall, had a great experience, and I feel that the price was fair! Still bothered at why this dirty sock syndrome is even happening because I’ve never had an issue out of all the homes I’ve lived in with this before.

My A/C stopped working. Called Houk and thank you Anthony arrived to help me out.
What a great service member. He explained the issues I was having and gave me options. Which I like having.
He performed a through inspection and replaced my filter.

My AC system was still under warranty through the builder so I reached out and set up service. My master bathroom was not cooling or heating. The technician came out and did confirm my issue and went to the attic and said I have kink in the air flow ducking. Well on his way out of my attic he fell through and damaged my ceiling resulting in huge hole in my daughter’s room. Like seriously that’s the last thing I need. Now I have damaged ceiling on new build home. I understand ppl make mistakes but come on. The technician never apologized for the mistake and all he kept telling me he would reach out to his manager and they would get back with me. Well he never fixed my AC issue and they never reached back out to me for future repairs. Not good experience dealing with HOUK AC repair. Definitely not

Very good experience from getting the quote to having the installation completed in a neat and professional manner. I found the installation crew to be polite and focused on doing the best job possible for me on the installation. They went out of their way to keep me in the loop on the progress of the job. On completion, they showed me how to operate the new system in a manner that I could understand.
Cost wise, the HOUK quote was the lowest and most long-term cost efficient of the multiple quotes I received. This is the second total HVAC system that HOUK has installed at my home. The first Trane system I bought from them last 18+ years. Highly recommend.
