Electrical reviews in Grapevine, Texas

Recently had a solar system installed by Freedom Solar, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire process. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and I’m already seeing the benefits of having solar power.

First off, Brandon, the sales representative, was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, from the technical aspects of the system to the financial savings. He helped me understand the incentives available and made sure I felt comfortable with every decision. There was never any pressure, just clear, honest information, which I really appreciated.

Once I signed on, the installation team from Freedom Solar came out and got the system up and running. The crew was punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient. They took care of everything, including permits and inspections, and ensured the setup was perfect. The entire installation was done within the timeline they promised, and they made sure to clean up after themselves.

Now that my system is up and running, I’ve already noticed a reduction in my energy bills, and the peace of mind knowing I’m using clean, renewable energy feels great.

I would highly recommend Freedom Solar to anyone considering solar power, and if you’re working with Brandon, you’re in excellent hands!

Freedom Solar has been wonderful to work with. The process from the initial meeting to the installation was much quicker than I expected (less than 2 months) and each step of the process was clearly communicated to me. They handled the majority of the legwork contract-wise, and I actually ended up having very little work to do. Having Mike Carey as my energy consultant to walk me through the process, answer my questions, and coordinate all of the logistics was incredibly helpful. He made me feel secure in my decision making and he was fully transparent with the financials and solar utilization. I had spoken with multiple other companies before Freedom Solar, and it wasn't until talking with Mike that I felt like I was speaking with someone who actually was trying to help me out instead of line their own pockets. I cannot recommend Mike and Freedom Solar enough!

Updated: Finding a good solar company is not easy…we glad we went with Freedom Solar. It has been a smooth and stress-free experience. Our consultant Chase Williams has demonstrated a deep understanding of solar energy and the installation process, as well as the ability to explain the process in clear and simple terms. He also provided guidance on choosing the right solar panels and equipment to meet our specific energy needs. We are confident in our decision to invest in solar energy for our home.

Jetstars was super friendly to talk and done their job professionally. Highly recommended.

Brandon Edgley was our sales rep, he put up with my “I don’t need a marketing pitch, let’s talk data” initial statement, I’m very grateful for that!
He’s been available to answer any questions and concerns at any given time.
He listened and looked up any information I needed to ensure I was 100% sure of the decision I was making and happy with the price. Even after instal he’s still quick to reply to any more questions I may have regarding any part of the process even if it’s out of his department he finds the answer!

Seamless and easy process

Thanks Brandon for everything!

As for installation

Solar Goats team did a an amazing job installing our SunPower Panels, they were efficient, courteous and professional!

Incredible! Ricardo and his JETSTARS crew did an AMAZING JOB...in record time! Just a couple of hours to install 18 panels! So efficient, friendly, professional! Kudos to an outstanding installation team!

In general I had an awesome experience with Freedom Solar. Michael Carey though is absolutely one of the best parts of the company. He was very informative, not pushy, and just let us decide ourselves if this is what we wanted to do. We wanted to reduce our bills with solar and so far it has met our expectation. It also is following exactly what Michael told us as far as energy generation and amount of offset we could expect. All in all, if you do solar, go with Michael!

We are SO impressed with the Freedom Solar Power team. Vatrell was our salesperson and he has to be the best salesperson I have ever worked with. Professional, thorough, honest and quick! He stayed in touch until we finally made the decision to go solar and SO happy we did! From the installers to the electrician, this company has been professional and top notch! Thank you Vatrell and team!

Great installation job by team Solar Goats! Communicated arrival time, started work on time, and notified me when everything was done. Respectful
of property and no debris left behind on property.

Overall install and setup process went great! Crew Solar Goats were the best! I’d give 5 stars if just based on their work. They did an amazing job in the 100+ degree Texas summer heat and got me fully installed with a 30 panel system in a single morning. They were able to fit all of the panels exactly in line with the initial design. All other coordination work and setup has been smooth!

My only reservation thus far is the mySunPower app seems to not include individual panel level monitoring. I reached out to Freedom Solar customer care and they let me know that it will become available once my system is fully certified. But I’ve noted a lot of other customers with similar complaints on the App Store regarding the mySunPower app. So I am hoping that will resolve itself. But I do have some concerns there.

I've thought about solar power for my home for a long time. When my electric contract was going to expire, I wanted to check out solar. I've shopped companies, anyone who already uses solar panels, googled Freedom Solar ratings. I chose Freedom Solar. My representative, Haley Rosenberg, was very knowledgeable. She listened to my goals with solar energy and devised a proposal that met my needs. After our in home consultation she was available to answer any questions I had while making my decision. Today I signed on the dotted line! Thanks, Haley.

Installation Day!! Hats off to the Solar Goats!! Great job guys.

The "Mod Squad" (Kyle, AB, Junior, &Gil) did an excellent job installing my solar panels - they were knowledgeable, efficient, paid attention to detail, courteous and left the work area in great shape - A job well done!

Awesome team! & company, from Chase Williams initial house call& to scheduling. All went seamlessly! Crew installer Andrew was courteous & knowledgeable./ Electrician Jackson was super professional & detail oriented. Great teamwork! would recommend this company “ Freedom Solar” to do your install !

Talked to Mike Carey in 2021 about solar to get more information about the process. He was very informative, got us a complimentary design, and price and worked with me on my time. He was never in a hurry or pushy about us moving forward. When we told him it wasn't the right time for us, he completely understood and that was that. I had plenty of time to vet the company as well as many of their selling points such as being a local company with a local warehouse, installation crews and sound reputation for quality and service before and after the installation. It was this no pressure approach and transparency that stood out compared the many brokers that have harrased us over the years to go solar. That's why I came back when we were ready a year later and we picked right back up where we left off. I have never regretted working with Freedom Solar and I feel we are partners for the life of my investment. Highly recommend. They are a quality company with a solid product.

From the start with the awesome tremendous help from the initial consultation with Alina Apodaca to the jetstars crew and Geronimo doing the electrical work. Even the crew that helped dig the trench, the whole process has been fantastic with all appointments coordinated by John Allison, cannot recommend Freedom Solar group enough. Thank you so much!!!

Johnathan Ishmael, and Andre installed the solar panels and connected to the electrical equipment installed a few days earlier by Tommy. I was informed as to when they would be at my home and contacted the day of installation as to when they would arrive. Very professional in all they did. They set up work areas and use proper personal protective equipment during install. Tommy and Andre kept me informed as to what they had to do and all worked until the job was completed. Thank you for a painless install process.

Freedom Solar did an excellent job with our install. Alina was fantastic — extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Any time I had a question or concern, I could text her and she got back to me quickly with clear answers. Gerardo, the electrician, went above and beyond, working hard during the install and even coming back multiple times to make sure everything was dialed in and working exactly as it should.

The installation itself was fast and clean, and the system has been performing flawlessly. We’ve already seen a solid drop in our electric bills. I came in with a very particular setup in mind, and Freedom had no problem getting me exactly what I wanted. They even included extras like duct sealing that improved our HVAC efficiency. Couldn’t be happier — highly recommend!

Freedom Solar installed our 17 solar panels this morning in just 1.5 hours. They were very professional and informative and did great work. The crews name was the Solar Goats because their crew chief owns goats. Awesome crew!

The Solar Dream Team was excellent in their time arrival, reinstallation, clean up and making sure that the panels were working properly before leaving. Reattachment of solar panels was done in a good amount of time as well.

The crew (Solar GOATS) did a phenomenal job. PHENOMENAL!!! Estimated at 4 hours, they were in and out in half that time! Neat, polite, organized, clean and efficient. The panels are low profile and aligned perfectly!! The panels are nearly invisible from the street due to the low profile. The self-sealing anchors for the rail mount are ingenious, super high quality. A very high quality job by a great crew. Thank you!!!!!

The Solar Goats crew did an awesome job on our solar panel install.

Maintained communication prior to arrival and arrived right on time. Everyone was very courteous. The install itself was very efficient, neat and tidy.

We noticed one corner raised on the edge and will let them know. I am confident they will come back and address it.

Update: The panel was fixed within the next week.

Our system has been live for over a month now and we are definitely seeing the benefits of going solar. Michelle Nicholson is our point of contact with Freedom Solar and has been very responsive to all of our questions (which I am sure she has heard a million times!). We could not have had a better person guide us through this journey!

We just installed the Freedom Solar system and I could not be more happy with a company. Wonderful process from start to finish. I had previously installed a solar system when building my home ten years ago and it was terrible from the beginning so I very much appreciate the ability to quickly and easily communicate with Freedom Solar.
