At first we had a good experience with serving our old HVAC system.We decided to replace the units and use Shawn. Unfortunately this is where it all went wrong. He uses his friend to install which they did. The systems were Goodman 15 seer 3 ton and had 2 units. The whole experience was bad. They pressured us into paying cash as they offered a discount vs credit card. He would accept Zelle but that has a Max per day and wanted paying. The units installed were awful and extremely loud. They promised to come back to fix. 3 weeks later still no sign of coming back to fix. I called another company and was shocked to find out what they had done was not up to code and had used old parts on the new system. AVOID AVOid AVOID using this company he comes across as your friend but do not trust them. We had to take out a loan to fix their mistakes and now considering taking these fools to a small claims court.

I am a landlord and I have used this company at least 6 to 8 times over the past 2 to 3 years. Shawn always shows up when he says he will and always gives you an honest diagnosis of what is going on. He doesn't try to overcharge you and sell you things that you don't need like many companies do. He's always available to call you back or discuss any issues you may have about the job. I would highly recommend him because me personally, I don't like to deal with what I call" press 1 press 2 game. I don't want to speak to an office person at a desk who doesn't know what we have discussed. I like to speak to the source. Outside AC unit stopped on a saturday morning. I'm a pretty avid DIYer, so I keep spare capacitors, but this time it didn't do the trick (even though the old capacitor was bad). Called Shawn and described my problem. He told me over the phone that Lennox systems like mine have a high pressure switch to protect compressor and likely that just needed to be reset. Had my unit back up and running soon, but still had him come out to check that nothing else was wrong. It was a little low on freon, so he topped it off and now good to go. Great service and seems genuinely honest and wanting to help people.

I contacted A#1 air a different company and they wanted to charge me $10000 for a compressor..they are salesman and not techncian.

Like a lot of people, when something goes wrong with something major, like A/C problems, you get a sense of anxiety picking someone to work on it. I haven’t had good experiences with A/C people. So I google search companies near to me and picked A&M to work on it for me. Then I met Shawn and he was a delightful change from the other companies I have dealt with in the past. He diagnosed the problem quickly and went to work and fixed the blower motor, that had frozen, checked the fluid and had me up and running in no time. Not one time did I hear “you need a new unit”.
