Jason Cheatam, our sales representative, has been consistently responsive and willing to help. He's never used any kind of pressure,and he was never pushy like other companies that we've talked to. He listened to all of our concerns and answered all our questions. He explained different panel options and finance options available that Freedom Solar offers to fit our needs.

The installation team is amazing and fast. They installed 42 solar panels on our roof. The electricians were phenomenal dealing with the electrical in our old house.

Freedom took care of everything, all the permits and inspections. Great experience overall working with everyone. Will highly recommend.

Freedom Solar was great from the beginning. They were not pushy and were willing to let me work through all the different ask and give critical input into the design of my system. From Vatrell at the beginning to the Solar Dream Team Installers, they were thorough and made sure I was informed the whole time. There was one issue with the design of the system as they were putting too much power into the panel box but got that quickly resolved and instead of lowering the Solar Panel Production they decreased the amount of power coming from the utility provider.

I am in the early stages of installation. I have spent many moons agonizing over how to best put solar on my home. I highly recommend Jason Cheatham if you have any questions about products or the process. I am aware that I am a difficult customer. It is my goal to ensure I have a full understanding and am getting a fair deal. Jason has had nothing but grace and kindness as I put him through the quote and questions more tines than you can count on a pitch fork. I can in full confidence recommend that Jason be your first call as you start your solar experience. Talk to several companies and compare purchase, lease, PPA (always as for 0% escalator!!!)and learn about how the systems will function but you will most likely come back to Jason just like me.

It was quick and painless. The whole team was awesome. The electrician Geronimo was cool and explained a lot of the electrical. The installers for the panels were quick and made things look clean. Vatrell Fountain our salesperson was cool and was always quick to communicate back. He explained a lot of the finances and made things easier to understand.

We installed 27 panels using Freedom Solar. Their warranties beat out all other solar companies we received quotes from. The install process was easy and moved right along. They did a great job helping me understand the next steps regarding an appraisal district exemption, answering federal tax credit questions, and questions regarding updates to insurance policies.

Lastly, they use the best, most durable, and efficient panels on the market. Quality is what matters especially if you're going to install something with the intent for it last decades. I will use Freedom Solar again if I need an expansion to my system.

Requested a quote for solar. They were one of several companies to contact me. They put your number on a dialer and will blow up your phone. They have called several times as late as 7:30 CST. When I spoke with the representative she did not have any information about solar. Her only job was to call the leads and schedule them. She is not a person who goes in the field and deals with anyone. Her job is to call people and schedule appointments. I had wanted more information about the company and how solar works before I scheduled an appointments. I would not recommend them

Recently got Solar installed and was amazed how easy this company made it. From start to finish was a pleasant experience. Install crew has to be best in the business, panels went up quickly, look amazing on the roof, and they even matched the conduit to color of my house, barely notice it. I have to give the electrician the biggest thank you. The way he installed the batteries and everything you would think they were put in as the house was built. I can’t recommend this company enough.

I had my install complete in September. I will break it down to sales and installation.

Sales- I worked with Juan who was pretty freaking amazing. He was absolutely zero pressure through the entire process. I interviewed multiple companies and SunPower with Freedom Solar turned out to be my best alignment with what we needed. They had the best offers, with the absolute least expensive financing and they didn’t call me 25 times to ask if I was ready to move forward. Juan was available constantly it seemed like. I’d have a question at 8pm so I would call to leave him a message and he would answer! It was great customer service. When I had an issue during the permitting process I called Juan and it was resolved in hours. Not days.

Installation - the installation team was great. They had no problem with me sticking around the understand the process, they let me watch and would take time to explain things that I didn’t understand. The whole process took just a few hours and they left the workspace cleaner than they found it. Going as far as to sweep up the tiny bit of dirt in the garage that one of them thought he might have tracked in from the yard (I think it was already there ). They stuck around to make sure everything was working and answered more of my question. Very professional and very fun to be around.

The only issues we experienced were 100% not the fault of Freedom Solar but the fault of the city permit dept not having their ducks in a row saying the permit had not been submitted (I verified this wasn’t the case by checking the permits myself while the inspector was here) And even then Freedom Solar had it sorted out quickly and I was on my way.

Overall it was a great experience. They are not the absolute dirt cheapest option. But they don’t sell dirt cheap quality panels. And they don’t sell dirt cheap installation or professionalism.

The Solar Goats Team installed 10 solar panels on my roof today in 70 minutes
They showed up on time, worked quickly, and were very professional. The electrical team (Kevin and Jackson) came later and finished the installation work. They were efficient and professional as well. Both groups cleaned up after themselves.

I am so seriously so happy and pleased with my Freedom Solar journey to being on Solar!!! This company and all of her people are so smart, kind helpful and amazing! Alina Apodaca lead my team and stayed with me the entire way … start to finish! From installation to restoration of sheet rock in my garage the experience was incredible and the results most satisfactory! I can only say that getting Solar energy had exceeded any and all expectations! I wish I had done this earlier and it makes me wonder why all of us aren’t using this option ! Recently had a solar system installed by Freedom Solar, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire process. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and I’m already seeing the benefits of having solar power.

First off, Brandon, the sales representative, was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, from the technical aspects of the system to the financial savings. He helped me understand the incentives available and made sure I felt comfortable with every decision. There was never any pressure, just clear, honest information, which I really appreciated.

Once I signed on, the installation team from Freedom Solar came out and got the system up and running. The crew was punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient. They took care of everything, including permits and inspections, and ensured the setup was perfect. The entire installation was done within the timeline they promised, and they made sure to clean up after themselves.

Now that my system is up and running, I’ve already noticed a reduction in my energy bills, and the peace of mind knowing I’m using clean, renewable energy feels great.

I would highly recommend Freedom Solar to anyone considering solar power, and if you’re working with Brandon, you’re in excellent hands!

Freedom Solar has been wonderful to work with. The process from the initial meeting to the installation was much quicker than I expected (less than 2 months) and each step of the process was clearly communicated to me. They handled the majority of the legwork contract-wise, and I actually ended up having very little work to do. Having Mike Carey as my energy consultant to walk me through the process, answer my questions, and coordinate all of the logistics was incredibly helpful. He made me feel secure in my decision making and he was fully transparent with the financials and solar utilization. I had spoken with multiple other companies before Freedom Solar, and it wasn't until talking with Mike that I felt like I was speaking with someone who actually was trying to help me out instead of line their own pockets. I cannot recommend Mike and Freedom Solar enough!

Updated: Finding a good solar company is not easy…we glad we went with Freedom Solar. It has been a smooth and stress-free experience. Our consultant Chase Williams has demonstrated a deep understanding of solar energy and the installation process, as well as the ability to explain the process in clear and simple terms. He also provided guidance on choosing the right solar panels and equipment to meet our specific energy needs. We are confident in our decision to invest in solar energy for our home.

Brandon Edgley was our sales rep, he put up with my “I don’t need a marketing pitch, let’s talk data” initial statement, I’m very grateful for that!
He’s been available to answer any questions and concerns at any given time.
He listened and looked up any information I needed to ensure I was 100% sure of the decision I was making and happy with the price. Even after instal he’s still quick to reply to any more questions I may have regarding any part of the process even if it’s out of his department he finds the answer!

Incredible! Ricardo and his JETSTARS crew did an AMAZING JOB...in record time! Just a couple of hours to install 18 panels! So efficient, friendly, professional! Kudos to an outstanding installation team!

In general I had an awesome experience with Freedom Solar. Michael Carey though is absolutely one of the best parts of the company. He was very informative, not pushy, and just let us decide ourselves if this is what we wanted to do. We wanted to reduce our bills with solar and so far it has met our expectation. It also is following exactly what Michael told us as far as energy generation and amount of offset we could expect. All in all, if you do solar, go with Michael!

We are SO impressed with the Freedom Solar Power team. Vatrell was our salesperson and he has to be the best salesperson I have ever worked with. Professional, thorough, honest and quick! He stayed in touch until we finally made the decision to go solar and SO happy we did! From the installers to the electrician, this company has been professional and top notch! Overall install and setup process went great! Crew Solar Goats were the best! I’d give 5 stars if just based on their work. They did an amazing job in the 100+ degree Texas summer heat and got me fully installed with a 30 panel system in a single morning. They were able to fit all of the panels exactly in line with the initial design. All other coordination work and setup has been smooth!

My only reservation thus far is the mySunPower app seems to not include individual panel level monitoring. I reached out to Freedom Solar customer care and they let me know that it will become available once my system is fully certified. But I’ve noted a lot of other customers with similar complaints on the App Store regarding the mySunPower app. So I am hoping that will resolve itself. But I do have some concerns there.

I've thought about solar power for my home for a long time. When my electric contract was going to expire, I wanted to check out solar. I've shopped companies, anyone who already uses solar panels, googled Freedom Solar ratings. I chose Freedom Solar. My representative, Haley Rosenberg, was very knowledgeable. She listened to my goals with solar energy and devised a proposal that met my needs. After our in home consultation she was available to answer any questions I had while making my decision.
