Received a recommendation for SA Landscaping from a great friend, and so happy!! They were awesome - fair, polite, professional, and gave me back a beautiful yard! Can't wait to get them to do the next project!

I used San Antonio Landscaping Services to install three pallets of sod in my front yard and found them to be professional and prompt. My grass is now two weeks old and looks great!

(BLUF) Bottom-Line-Upfront….My wife and I are both sincerely grateful and can’t thank San Antionio Landscape Services (SA Landscapes) enough for saving our bacon from an authoritarian HOA here in Live Oak subdivision Auburn Hills. SA Landscapes should be your go to professional for yard re-birth / re-vitalization!!!The HOA sent my next-door neighbor and I multiple notices of violation stating we needed to sod our front yards or revitalize them. His 3rd notice came with a fine, my 3rd was soon to be sent. Both yards because of poor steep grading, derecho downpours, two extreme winters, excessive hot summers and SAWS water restrictions too boot, all our grass washed away or simply died and left us with barren dirt yards. In any event, while my neighbor (much younger than I) chose a different course of action, we chose to have professionals come re-sod / revitalize our yard. While he offered to help us, I physically could not undertake this action and therefore upon receiving our first notice (13 July) just 6 days after this 2023 brutal summer heat wave began, I looked at many landscape companies on-line in both Bexar and Guadalupe Counties. Some with great reviews, others not.

Needless to say, I came across SA Landscapes and we couldn’t be happier with the response from the owner Jesse, his office business project coordinator Jeanie, and the installation team. Their website was absolutely the most impressive and informative of the many I researched. While I was a bit apprehensive at first, because they had few on-line reviews and they require a deposit, they however delivered on their promise in the most expedient manner for sure!! They listened to our sense of urgency, and immediately the next morning the owner (Jesse) began their 11-Step process. Such a kindhearted, exceptionally knowledgeable, down-to-earth gentleman.

Two days later, upon delivery of 2 pallets of Palisades Zoysia from King Ranch, his team of professionals transformed a barren mother-nature beaten to death front yard into a piece of property one could be jealous of, and certainly hands down better than the builder of this subdivision in 2011. Their team of installers reworked the whole front yard on 17 August 2023 the hottest day on record for the State of Texas, 107 degrees. They cleaned up each step of the way as they worked through the project and did not leave until completion.

I, a retired Uniformed Air Force and Army Civil Service member injected a few times on small things/changes to the plan as the installers were accomplishing their job and without hesitation, they met this customer’s request to our satisfaction. Lastly, all-in-all, while our property isn’t the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC (White House), my wife and I are extremely pleased with the outcome!!

I had 10 pallets of sod installed and tree trimming for 2 very mature oak trees. The entire experience was better than I could have hoped for. Jeanie and Victor listened and worked with me every step of the way. My front yard went from dead and an eyesore, to something I stand on the curb and stare it and admire. I highly recommend SA Landscaping for all you sod and tree trimming needs. They go above and beyond!

My front yard has just gone from dirt, rocks, and weeds to a yard of beautiful Zoysia Palestine grass. I have San Antonio Landscaping Services to thank for it. From the time I first talked to Jeanie until my lawn came alive again was less than a week. Victor estimated what was needed and three days later his four man crew went to work to completely transform my yard. They took my yard down to the dirt, tilled the dirt, added topsoil and fertilizer, and placed the sod to soon become nice green lawn again. When they finished they watered and rolled the yard to level the sod. They completed the project by completely cleaning up and disposing of trash and dirt. I was even given written instructions on the "care and feeding" of my new Zoysia lawn!

I highly recommend San Antonio Landscaping Services to anyone needing to restore their lawn and other general landscaping.

In April 2024 SALS installed grass in our yard , we pay in full as in the contract say after the job was finished , after 2/3 weeks where they put the grass killer the new grass started to die. I called and sent an email on June 3 2024 asking for help since we pay for the services. Jeanie say she would talk to the installer Victor and call back or come to the house to check what was going on with the grass. Today September 16 2024 nobody called , nobody came to see the grass, nobody from San Antonio Landscaping Service contact us at least to suggest what we can do. We also had to have the worker make the holes for the sprinklers , look like they never did that this job. I HIGHLY suggest not to hire this company that after the payment ignore the customers !!!! They cause more issues with our grass than we had with wild grass .

Victor and his team did an awesome job on our backyard sod. They were a well oiled machine! We were a little concerned because the company that supplied the grass was short, but San Antonio Landscaping made it right and completed the job to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone for a job well done!

Victor and his crew from San Antonio Landscaping were AWESOME! They were professional, detailed, hard-working and really did a great job replacing our grass on our large property. San Antonio Landscaping did a wonderful job with our front yard. They were not afraid to voice their opinions and provide constructive feedback to address water run off, re-do the garden, and extend our driveway. Victor and his crew were amazing, professional, and held to the schedule despite the rain. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience for install of Zoysia in our backyard. Free consult was easy to schedule. Small change in timeline with sod and dirt delivery otherwise everything ran right on time with single-day installation. Staff were professional and respectful of property. We are now about 2 months into install and have spent every day in our backyard since. The grass is so soft, it's almost a requirement to go barefoot outside! We received instructions for care and maintenance after install and staff have been available to answer personalized questions as well via phone or text. They offered a military discount which was much appreciated.

I just want to say, I had a very good experience with San Antonio Landscaping Services. I needed to re-sod part of my front yard and looked for reputable company to do it. I found this company and called them after reviewing their website. Jeanie answered and was professional from the get go. She was quick to answer my questions and kept me informed by email/text throughout the project. Project Manager Victor Cantu contacted me at my residence a few days before the project was to begin. He informed me about the process they use to lay sod and he also checked the area to be sodded. He told me that they would eliminate the old sod and then till and put down a layer of soil and fertilizer before re-sodding. The soil and fertilizer is an extra cost, but it is a part of their process. On project day, everything went smooth. The crew of 5 men worked their butts off until completion. They worked together and nobody was playing around. The guys were very respectable and cleaned up after themselves. I feel I got what I paid for and more. I'm glad we went with this company. We were deciding between a total of 3 companies. I accidentally came across this SA Landscaping while looking for the number of the second company. I normally rely on consumer reviews before purchasing items or a service. My wife and I had concerns about the lack of reviews regarding SA landscaping and brought this up with the company. We told them that they gave us the best estimate and seemed more knowledgeable than the other two companies when it came to what we wanted to do with our front yard and garden bed, but the only thing holding us back was the lack of reviews and validation on the internet. They kept respectfully reassuring me and even let me speak to the owner of the company. He explained how they have been in business for a long time, but are just now recently aiming to increase their online presents. He answered all of my concerns and my wife and I ultimately decided to work with the company.

The workers were on-time, respectful, informative, everything they said was honored, and they seemed to enjoy the work despite the triple digit heat. More importantly, my wife was happy with the work. I will be working with them again in the near future to have some work done on my backyard. Definitely worthy of the 5 stars.

This is what the grass they planted looks like 8 months later even with the constant rain and watering. You can see the distinct lines of the old healthy grass versus the new dead areas. They clearly gave me bad sod and this is very disappointing.

My grass was patchy and flooded (like the picture below). I had been told by my neighbors the previous owners tried to grow grass 2x. I called SA Landscaping Services they came and looked at it and tested the soil for free. We talked about the right kind of grass and adding vitamins to my nutrient depleted soil. They mixed in new soil with my old soil that was hard and leveled the ground so it wouldn’t flood. They were nice, professional, and answered ALL of my questions about lawn care. We contracted SA Landscaping to redo our front yard. The previous home owners had allowed the sod to die and the plants to over run the flower beds. It looked terrible!

Service was so prompt and they helped us shape a beautiful plan for our yard. The project was finished quickly and we love the results. The yard is beautiful and I can’t wait to see how it all settles in!

We are about 10 days post install (1604 and Blanco area), and we are very happy with our choice to go with SA Landscaping Services. They came in and sprayed all the weeds (days prior to placing sod), tilled, raked up debris, put down top soil, regraded, and placed the sod.

Grass is looking healthy and growing so well - we are following the great aftercare instructions they provided. Communication was great from the beginning, and everyone was so kind and professional. We threw a last minute change in by outlining where a garden walkway was going to be, but rather than walk away from the job and leave us with excess sod, they went ahead and placed the sod on the front side yard even though I told them we’d do it since it wasn’t originally planned that way. We have a small astroturf area we kept for our dogs to use until the grass establishes, and when it is time to replace that with sod, we will absolutely be using these guys again!

Contracted SA Landscaping Services to have back yard restoration by installing St Augustine grass. Lawn really needed an update. In the beginning was not sure how to proceed. Searched goole and located SA Landscaping Services. Definitely the right choice. Working with Jeanie on all scheduling made things go smoothly. Victor and his crew did an excellent job removing old grass and weeds before leveling with new top soil and placing new grass sods. Everything went well. Jeanie kept me informed of all delivery times and all went timely. All work was performed in one day. The price was reasonable all. On work performed so far would highly recommend their services. They were fairly priced, didn’t try to unnecessarily upsell me, were prompt, conscientious and tidy. My yard looks beautiful, my neighbors weren’t inconvenienced by their presence the day of installation and when they were done they cleaned everything up so that the only evidence that they had been there was a beautiful green lawn. The grass they installed is healthy and lush and started to take root immediately… I am so looking forward to enjoying it for a long time to come!
