Did a great job had 200 ft of 8ft tall. Was a great job.Armando was the crew leader and Alex was the sales rep. Happened alot faster then i taugh it would. Guys started Friday and were done saturday afternoon. Will use them again and let 4 of my neighbor know beacuse they love the new fence also.

Very poorly ran company: If you want them to come out and fix what they did wrong my gate like most of the reviews is out of alignment the minimum charge is $750. The project was $9500 in 2019 should have used Griffen Fence. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere.

We had a horrible experience with Rio Grande Fence Company. We experienced several mistakes on the initial order we placed, which included a price increase of nearly $1000, a sexually explicit remark from the supervisor of the project, and the company failed to fully finish the job. When we called to complain that the fence was bowed, that the top of the fence was coming up, that our gate latches no longer worked (which is a major issue in keeping our dog and toddler inside the fence) and that they had not supplied hardware for our side gate, it took over two weeks for the company to send a supervisor out to look at the work. The sales rep that we worked with set up a date and time to come see the issues and then never showed up, but told the owner he did. If that was the case, he did not communicate any of the issues to the project manager that came back to our house since he did not have ANY of the hardware needed to fix the fence. He told me he was going to "come back tomorrow" to fix it. That was two weeks ago. Do not use this company.

Please beware DO NOT USE this company. They are quick to take your money but don’t stand by their guarantee of workmanship. I called several times to have them repair my fence never received a call back. Poor customer service and unskilled labor they hire to complete theirs fences. Spoke to both owners by text only could never get either one on the phone.

I had a wrought iron gate installed in December 2019. Gate is falling off hinges. Called, it’s been 2 weeks and nothing. Spoke to owner, still nothing. It’s like they don’t care. These are facts. I guess I’ll have to hire someone else to do repair. I can’t believe how bad the service is.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Unskilled laborers install shoddy materials right down to installing a gate backwards. Broke irrigation system, damaged house exterior, threw garbage and cigarette butts on property, left a huge mess to clean up. They say they'll fix their work & then don't show up, but demand payment. Do NOT hire.

Really great work for a great price! Showed up as promised, finished work on time, and super professional. I've worked with a few different contractors on my fences before, but these are definitely my guys now!!!

Scheduled an appointment with them and they didn’t show up or bother to call. And got written up at work for being late because of them!

Oscar was recommended by a large construction firm to our HOA. He was knowledgeable and gave us the quotes requested. We selected them and then they went silent. Very disappointed and embarrassed in front of my HOA. Will share this with the construction firm. Don’t know if they couldn’t handle the big job or couldnt provide the certificate of insurance. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Last text was, “you will have updated quote tomorrow.”

The fence looked fine, but after the first wind event it blew down because they didn't put any concrete around the posts. After three calls to them to have them correct the issue with no call backs or updates, I'm giving this up as a lesson learned. Don't use this company to install your fence or you'll have to pay twice - once for them to mess up and again to a competent installer to fix things.

The whole experience with Rio Grande fencing was great. The crew was on time and professional. The Operations team was very communicative from scheduling through completion. And sales was helpful during the bidding process and was available throughout the project. I recommend Rio Grande Fence Company - did what they said they would do and more!

Wasted my time and do not seem reliable.

Referred by their customer/my neighbors, but hesitated contacting them due to a lot of negative reviews I read online. Called anyway to schedule for the following week and the salesperson, Nathan, said he would be at our house Monday morning. Asked if I needed to text or send over my address to confirm, but he said he had it (it seemed rushed and reminded me of a waiter that doesn't write your order down).

Monday morning came with me waiting, only to get a voicemail that he drove all the way out to our house and "couldn't find it" and was already back at the office...needed to reschedule.

His story didn't even make sense...so he had my number and didn't call right when he couldn't find a house that's been here for 15 years? Sounds like poor scheduling or he had just found his appt notes late and came up with a story.

Either way, they aren't respectful of people's time and - with so many highly rated fence companies in Houston - we aren't looking to beg someone to take our money.

Rio Grande was the second contractor we requested a quote from for replacing a fence in our backyard. Not only did they provide a quote within 3 days of requesting it (compared to 3 weeks for the other contractor), their bid was significantly less and they were able to start the work a couple of days after we both agreed the scope of work, etc.
It was only about 60 feet of cedar picket fence with galvanized posts, but also included the removal of the old chain link fence. Nonetheless, they completed the job in two days, working on Saturday as well.
Lorraine was the main point of contact and she was very responsive and professional, wasting no time to meet our needs. We did experience a few issues that required further work and Lorraine sent their Field Supervisor, Juan, out the day I sent a note to her. Juan agreed the issues we noted all would be further addressed and they came out the next day. This all occurred over the weekend before and the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We are very happy with the completed job. Rio Grande even went beyond the original scope of work, adding extra footage of fence connecting to the chain link gate, at no additional cost. I can highly recommend Rio Grande.

Excellent work for custom cages for electrical boxes and conduit protection for a client of mine! Will definitely contact them in the future when the need arises.

I met Ms. Loraine for an estimate, and she was very helpful with what kind of fence was best for me to use to feel the safest for a daycare. Very informative and kind… estimate was reasonable, and love the work ethic…

We've been needing to replace our fence for a couple of years now. I finally decided that wood is not going to get any cheaper, so I started looking around for a fence company. I must have talked to at least 6 different companies, but I ended up going with Rio Grande because they put in a fence on the new house going up next door to mine. I felt that Paul, my salesperson, treated me with respect and was quick to respond to my questions and texts.
We wanted an 8' tall cedar fence with the cap board along the top. The original fence did not have this and I think it contributed to the wood rot. Anyway, the quote was in line with most of the other quotes I received and they were able to start the following week.
It was estimated at a 2-day job, but the crew was great and they finished in one day! There were a couple of little things I was not happy with but I just contacted Paul and he had the crew come by to make the adjustments (no add'l cost). I realized there are some bad reviews out there, but my experience was great and I would recommend Rio Grande Fence.
