Israel and his crew have done multiple jobs for us, both interior and exterior, and they have done a great job. They are prompt, professional, and very communicative. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Good customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and unfortunately, MIF Contracting failed miserably. I received an email from Zandra M. on September 28th asking if I would like an estimate for everything on the inspection report I submitted to them on September 20th? I replied the same day "yes everything on the report". Total radio silence until I reached out again on October 9th and was told someone would call me back, which they never did...I don't chase any company to supply them with business and my hard earned money!

I guess I dodged a bullet with this company, because if you don't have the integrity and business ethics to return a potential customers call for an estimate, then you can't be trusted to complete the renovations I need.

MIF has been doing projects for me for 20 years. Isreal and his team are always professional, responsive and are on time. The quality of their work is always top notch, and I have found they always have competitive pricing.

MIF Contracting revised roof line by creating new eaves with concrete tile roofing. They painted the structure and installed gutters on the new eaves. Work was fairly priced, and completed in the promised time. Excellent craftsmen,

Israel and his team do such a good job. When I first used him, I had bought a house that had a boarder wallpaper around the middle of the room. There is no way I thought anyone could match the texture. They did! You couldn’t even tell. I have since had him put in tile in over 1000 square feet of my home. Even though the builders didn’t build straight and square, his men were like artists the way they laid the tile. It is beautiful and straight. Recently I replaced a little worthless drawer in my kitchen with a deeper usable one and you can’t even tell that it was not the original! They do such quality work it is amazing!

Our family had MIF Contracting do a complete remodel of the interior of a home we bought, meaning they took the entire interior of the home down to the drywall and concrete slab, retextured, repainted everything, installed new tile everywhere, new plumbing and lighting fixtures, redesigned walk-in showers, built cabinetry, installed stone fireplace, and ran a new gas line to a formerly electric cooktop. They did everything and did a great job! Very easy to work with, adapted to necessary changes, and suggested vendors and ideas. We also used them for smaller jobs since the huge remodel. We will use them again and recommend you use them as well!

As I typically do, when I need home repairs I get multiple bids from businesses who come recommended by friends. One business never returned my call. Another came to see the project and promised a quote within a few days. Nothing. I called again. It seemed my project was too small.

I called Israel Fonseca and he came the next day. I had a bid within 24 hours. They were completing a job but I was to be next and I had a deadline.
Once they started, I saw them daily until the project was finished.
-Five cedar pillars on the front porch stripped, stained and sealed!
-Three sets of French doors (faded and peeling from years exposed to weather),
beautifully refinished.
-Minor repairs on LR ceiling and walls from a previous leak.
-Replaced busted hardiplank.

All finished within a week! I was so pleased with their communication, punctuality and workmanship.
The next time time i need work done on my home, I will not need three bids. I’ll call Israel Fonseca with MIF Contracting.

I did my first house flip and I’m so glad I chose MIF contracting to do the work. They completely remodeled my kitchen and installed backsplash making it more open, bright and gave it a more modern feel. Since it’s an older home and I wasn’t going to change the tile flooring downstairs yet, I thought I was going to have a problem with finding that same exact tile to fill in broken kitchen tiles. We brainstormed and decided to remove tile from the small laundry closet and used those in the kitchen.

I wanted the downstairs to have a more open concept feel to it so Israel suggested to remove the columns that divided the living room and dining area, add more lighting, replace metal sliding doors for french doors and paint the house. Once done, this made a huge difference on the feel and look of the house.

Upstairs, the old, brown carpet was removed and replaced with a light grey laminate flooring. New bathroom vanities and fixtures were installed. They removed the carpet from the stairs and installed new, stained threads.
It turned out amazing! Can’t wait to have them complete my showers too.

MIF does an amazing work. This is the second time that I use MIF for a remodel job at my house. The owner Israel Fonseca, is very professional, courteous, and easy to reach. The workers are also extremely professional and detailed oriented and neat in their work and go to great lengths to leave the work area clean. I would totally recommend MIF to anyone needing work done at their home, whether large or small. Will definitely be using MIF again in the future.

I highly recommend MIF Contracting. They were responsive, on time, and Juan and Robert were very skilled craftsmen. They did a great job rebuilding two window sashes. Israel is very fortunate to have such a superb team!

They did a fabulous job getting our new home move-in ready for us! They installed a very good looking breezeway fence for us, helped to install a new A/C unit in one of our bathrooms, adjusted wiring for a light and fan, and much more. All in the course of one day as well! They did need to adjust one list item but once I messaged them about it, they were very responsive and came out the following business day to get it taken care of. I would definitely use their services again, and they are very competitively priced!
