We had some major electrical issues after the winter storm and we had to have all of our underground wiring and the control box replaced. The first electrical company who quoted us was over $10K. We weren't too happy with that so wanted to get another opinion & we found Raul on the Nextdoor app. He was very responsive, super helpful and knowledgeable about the issues we were having. His pricing was also very competitive and we appreciated his candidness in the whole process. We 100% recommend Raul and his team and we will continue to use him for any other electrical needs!

Raul did a great job with all my electrical plugs in the house. He is a licensed electrician. He also installed a dimmer system that works perfect. Pricing was reasonable and discussed upfront. I would definitely be using him for any work that comes up in the future.

We had Raul come to our home and do several projects for us including hanging a Chandelier and putting in some lights in my living and bedroom area plus 2 outdoor ceiling fans. The job was difficult due to the very high ceilings in our living area...... We were very impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work... He differently went above and beyond our expectations and I will certainly use him in the future when I need work done!!!

Raul called me immediately after inquiring about an issue I had with my wiring for my furnace and thermostat. He is a no nonsense person who isn’t going to sell you something that is unnecessary. Raul was amazing! We dealt with our AC unit tripping a breaker all summer long last year and most of the summer this year. Raul upgraded our electrical panel and fixed the issue. The job was a lot of work and he did it beautifully. He was always ready to answer questions and even talked to my father in law since I didn’t know what to ask. Regrettably we were completely unaware that our parents had purchased a home with an outdated and unsafe electrical panel, Federal Pacific. Raul had replaced the electrical panel a year earlier in my home so i knew exactly who to call for an inspection. He was very prompt and detailed about the scope of work necessary. He worked with us on a schedule to eliminate interruption. Through the entire job he kept us informed, explaining everything he was doing. He always asked if we had any questions or concerns. After the panel had been completed and inspected, Raul installed direct mount ultra thin lights in the kitchen as a surprise for our mother. The kitchen is so bright and just looks completely different. And nothing hanging down from the ceiling, just clean beautiful ceiling. My mother is so happy she wants to have more installed in her den. Thank you very much for your hard work. The house is safe and the kitchen is just beautiful.

Very friendly and courteous. He responded to text promptly and was able to come out and change our light fixture very quickly. We have 18ft ceilings and they did a great job we love our light and he was very knowledgeable about how to take down and install new light.

We got Mr. Raul’s contact on recommendation via a post on Next door neighbor and we are grateful that we followed through with it because as it turned out he cares so much about the quality of his job.
He did an excellent job with putting up our fans and chandeliers in our new home. He gave us a decent price and worked with our budget.

Unique Electrical Services has neither followed my instructions nor honored its warranty to me.

Due to the aluminum wiring in my house, Unique Electrical Services was asked to install the Heath-Zenith 9309 exterior light specifically with anti-oxidant joint compound and Al/Cu wire connectors. Unique Electrical Services chose not to comply, cited that these lights were “rated” for aluminum wiring and did not need special connectors.

A call to the manufacturer’s help line reveals that this light fixture is not “rated” for aluminum wiring and should be connected with copper wiring. Heath-Zenith recommends using copper pigtail wires between the fixture and the aluminum wiring. This step is printed in the installation instructions given to Unique Electrical Services at the start but Unique Electrical Services has told me that it believes that the manufacturer’s recommendations are not binding.

After a month, 2 telephone calls, an email plus a text message, Unique Electrical Services has not come back to add the copper pigtail wires, Al/Cu compound and Al/Cu wire connectors. I have even offered this company additional work to no avail.

Unique Electrical Services believes that the fixture has not failed and is operating properly. It fails to understand that oxidation can slowly build up at the Al-Cu juncture and in the long term result in overheating and failure. I’ve witnessed failures of Al-Cu junctions when they were not properly protected from oxidation.

Today, I hired another electrical company to pick up where Unique Electrical Services left off and properly complete the aluminum-copper junctions.

I do want to end with a positive note. Unique Electrical Services does pay attention to aesthetics. For example, the caulking of my light fixtures is as smooth and professional as I have ever seen. My hope is that it pays the same attention to the use of antioxidants on its electrical junctions.

Half of our house lost power that included our AC, thankfully we had a cooler weather the whole time of no AC. The underground electrical wiring that supply power to our house needed to be replaced/repaired. Absolutely without a doubt, Raul and his whole team were the answered to our prayers. Raul was very professional, honest, compassionate and you can sense his sincerity and love to help his customers. He answers calls and text really quickly. Not to mention the price, it was just about right, no hidden fees, no surprises. Their job was above and beyond our expectations. They completed the wonderful job less than the given time frame/promised. They left our yard and area of work clean and neat, like nothing major digging happened. I will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family for any electrical work. Thank you so much for the great work. May God continue to bless the work of your hands always! Raul was a big help. We were in a rush to get several projects completed and he was able to do them quickly. We had small projects like changing a timer switch and a big project like the fixing the electrical box outside the house. They did it all! I will definitely keep his number for future projects.
