We recently switched to using Buildingstars as our cleaning company for the church. It has been less than 1 month with them but the experience from the start has been a pleasure. From defining the contract and working with us to ensure we get things exactly as we want them, to meeting our Account Manager and Lead Tech to do a walk through of the church regarding our expectations, to working out any small kinks to get things done EXACTLY as we want them. Everything is bad.... Don't even waste your time.

They clean the hood, the exhaust fan, AND THE DUCTS! Great job!

I had an exhaust duct from my over the stove microwave that hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and I began to worry about the fire hazard. Kanela came and assessed the job first, no charge. Within hours emailed an estimate, with details. The job required two different crews, as the folks that installed the duct didn't include an access door. Kanela made two appointments at my convenience, one to install an access door and another for the cleaning. Both crews arrived on time, did the work, and cleaned up after themselves. I could not ask for better service.

Just when I had given up hope on ever experiencing quality service again, here comes Kanela. From the first phone call with Gonzo, to meeting his father the president, then a confirmation of service and an email estimate within 24 hours, then being serviced by Cesar and an assistant, my old commercial Wolf stove was in completely confident hands.

We bought a house with an old commercial stove that had 20 years of grease and dirt build up. A huge fire hazard, we were actually fearful for our family, but as cooks, wanted to keep the classic stove. Kanela made it look like new. Took it apart, scrubbed thoroughly, reassembled, and tested. The vent hood too. These guys are sweet and professional. Please give them a try and I'm betting you won't be disappointed.

I’ve never written bad reviews because it impacts businesses in a bad way. This is my first one.
The owner and the whole staff are totally snob and would not return your calls, always believing you’re trying to bargain their service. I’ve lately received an email suggesting I’ve tried to bargain their service, which I did not, nor was the purpose of my call which was not returned by the owner or his staff. It was hurtful, to be looked down and disrespected, especially I’ve been a loyal and good paying customer with 3 businesses locations, for over 15 years. I will never use them again!!!
Do yourself a favor and save yourself some headache. Go where you’re respected. Bring your business where it’s wanted, needed and appreciated.
