I have been doing business with Mohsen rugs for years. Purchasing and having rugs cleaned and repaired. Mohsen''s constantly changing inventory is amazing and his personal service is a rarity. The quality of repairs and cleanings is the best. I highly recommend Mohsen Rugs.

My parents' home was completely flooded by Hurricane Harvey. All of their rugs were destroyed--or so we thought. My parents called Mohsen to see if the rugs could be saved. Mr. Mohsen told my parents to bring the rugs--expensive Orientals all--to his store. Within two weeks, Mr. Moshen and his professional crew absolutely restored all of my parents' rugs to a state better than before Hurricane Harvey.

My parents lost so many things as a result from Hurricane Harvey. Thanks to Mohsen Oriental Rug and Repair, they were able to keep these wonderful pieces of familial history. Thank you very much, Mohsen!

Mr. Mohsen was very helpful with my daughter. She is a young person who would like to invest in a fine rug. He spent time with us really explaining rugs. You can certainly tell he is passionate about his rugs. Her budget is small to begin with and he was still very attentive. We brought three home to look at the size and color. I highly recommend him. I really hope she purchases from him. If I lived closeby; I would get a rug from him, too! Thanks Mr. Mohsen!

We had a red wine spill on a Persian rug and doubted anyone could get it out. Not only did Mohsen remove the stain, but they cleaned it and it looked better than new. Great people, great prices so I highly recommend them!

I came here to get a couple rugs cleaned, one area rug and a runner- and they did a great job! I should have taken a before and after because the runner was quite dirty, but they look great. Very professional and friendly service! I’ll definitely be back for any rug cleaning, or hopefully purchasing one of their many handmade rugs in the future!

I had a large Persian rug that needed some attention and called around to get estimates last week. Mr. Moshen answered the phone and I texted him photos. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable and educated me further on the Tabriz style rug I had as well as some other pieces at my home. My rug looks incredible after he cleaned it, and I cannot stress enough how happy I am with the results. 10/10!

This is my fourth or fifth time washing rugs with Mohsen, so I guess that now is the good time for a review, ha ha!
I found the prices on washing very, very fair ( and possibly below market price?), and was super happy with all the results. All the rugs have come back super clean, and he also has done some damage repair on the fringes and side as needed.
I actually just remembered that he has been doing some rug repair for me since maybe 1998 or so…???? (My God, I’m getting old ) He has a great reputation and I can easily recommend him to my friends and family without fear of then getting ripped off. He is a man of integrity, and that’s everything. I am a lucky ( or blessed) man. I have a great barber, I’ve got a great housekeeper, and a mechanic I trust. I guess I can add RUG WASHER and RUG SELLER that I trust to my list. ( I also have a good dry cleaner, ha ha). Thank you, Mohsen

I have purchased three rugs from Mohsen Rugs and Restoration in approximately the past five years, all of them being Persian Kashan's. Two of the rugs are sized approximately 6'x4' and the other is a 10'x13' room size piece. All three would be considered antique and in excellent condition. I have collected Persian rugs for 30 years and consider the pieces that he has for sale to be of very good quality, and priced at very reasonable levels. Mohsen has also performed excellent repair and cleaning services for me as well. This work is performed on site and carried out in an excellent manner, and the turn around time has been reasonably quick, especially considering the skill level that it takes to complete some repairs that I have had him undertake. Mohsen is a very hospitable, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. I began doing business with him when he was at the Antique Pavilion on Westheimer Road, where he was located for many years, and I most recently conducted business with him at his very nice new location at 1316 West Alabama. Mohsen's selection of rugs covers a myriad of styles, types, sizes, and prices. I believe it to be one of the select rug galleries in not only Houston, but in the state of Texas.

Professional, fair, and honest. I purchased a rug from Afghanistan that my dog chewed a corner.

Instead of me having to discard my expensive rug, Mohsen rugs was able to trim the portion chewed, cut the other sides to make it symmetrical, and professionally bound it and added tethering.

I’m very thankful for the work they did.

My beloved silk rug was soiled by my pet. I was lucky to find Mohsen, who immediately took my carpet and carefully worked on it for a week to prevent any damage to it. He also gave a rug appraisal and let me know the history of my Turkish silk rug that I was unaware of! I strongly recommend him for cleaning your handmade rug heirlooms and good honest service!

I highly recommend Mohsen Rugs & Restoration! They beautifully cleaned my tapestry from the 1800s and got a stain out that had been there for decades. They were very professional, helpful and kind. I will definitely use them again!

Rugs look great ! I thought it was ruined from pet stains and my DYI attempt to clean the stains myself. Was going to discard the Chinese Oriental rug but decided to try and see if it could be saved. They did a great job. Rug is beautiful again.

I took my 7×11 kashan design hand made rug there that I bought from an individual which had some kind of orange rustipaint on the fring and the corner of the rug and they repaired it looks good as knew.
