Love working with this company. They are very, very professional and they do great business. Flexible too... They can handle trees as well as lawns and landscaping.

This driver of theirs was driving very recklessly this morning. He cut me off, then stomped on his brakes and decided to record me like I was the weird one!

A driver for this company did not secure the load properly. A large branch fell out of their unregistered trailer and bit my car.. The driver refused to pull over, and the company refuses to take responsibility. If you're considering using this company, make sure you record everything, so you have proof when they damage your property.

I run an HOA and was very excited to bring them on. Well it was a disaster right from the start. Didn’t pull weeds, didn’t do the job that we discussed or outlined. Worst of all is we said ok we are done and we both agreed it wasn’t working out. We paid them for a full month of service and they gave us half back. Scam artist. Not sure how they got such great reviews but we really hoped for the best and got the worst.

I have security footage, pictures, and video of their worker blowing dirt, gravel, acorns, and leaves all over my car.

These guys come to the office I work at. The last 3 weeks, they’ve hit my car with their edgers and next time I’ll be taking a video. If someone backs up and is touching grass, then mow around it. Your crew needs to stop touching my car or I’ll be taking this further than just a silly little review. I will also be taking this to the property managers. It’s highly unprofessional to do this time and time again.

Our neighborhood made the switch from another provider to LMC earlier this year. From our very first encounter, post engagement, the LMC team has been truly incredible! They met with the HOA Board onsite, brought everyone from the top down to meet with us, and explained every step they planned to take and made several recommendations for issues we were experiencing, to ensure we felt comfortable and understood how they worked.

Our Account Manager, Amanda Avila, has been a shining light of joy and positivity and she offers assistance consistently, and checks in continuously, to ensure we are happy with every move they make. Her communication is extremely speedy and she is an absolute delight to work with!

Our Landscape Manager, Joe Cunningham, has shown up to our Board meetings, he visits our site weekly, and stays in constant communication on what is being done and what he recommends should be done, and continues to make himself available any time we reach out for anything. Joe is a wealth of knowledge and works within our budgeting restraints as an HOA, to offer viable solutions that have been nothing short of fantastic!

I cannot recommend LMC highly enough! We continue to kick ourselves for not switching to them sooner! Wish I could add more stars!!

Please train your people to stop blowing leaves went pedestrians are present or at the bare minimum at least do one side of the sidewalk at a time! Multiple times as a walker in midtown I’ve had to literally walk in the streets to avoid theses people who seem to never care to look up. I hate walking out here because of this terrible company and this morning I’ve had enough. Next time it’s as bad as today I will gladly post some pictures here because this is no exhaustion.

Witnessed employees of this company throw an entire box of plastic waste into a ravine behind my office. Called to report - got put on hold.

Houston Lightscapes is a rare find, coupling significant skill with outdoor lighting whether it be repairing legacy systems or installing new, high quality fixtures with caring customer service.

We had work done for Stone Gate Community and Houston Lightscapes did shotty work. This was towards the end of 2021 when they did the work and we paid $18k. Michael Ackerman harassed me for payment at the end of 2021 (when I had COVID) stating they had to close their books for the year but if we needed them to go back out and fix anything, they would be happy to. We called them numerous times to come back out stating our Board was not happy with the results. They claimed to come out once, but it did not fix the issue and they started to ignore us after the fact. We had a guy check out the main entrance lighting and this is what we found: Houston Lightscapes used extension cords to connect the wiring, they left all wires exposed when they should have dug a trenches to hide the wires, the poles for the monuments were not connected in the ground with cement so they can easily be pulled out, on the side of the mounts, there are large holes where water can easily get in when it is not supposed to, the old light mounts were not removed. This is for only one section! We've called and emailed and they continue to ignore us. We've reached out to our attorney and I'm filing a complaint with the BBB next.

I spoke with three landscape lighting companies about adding lights to my corner lot inside the Loop. I enjoyed working with Mike Akerman at Houston Lightscapes to create a lighting plan. The installation crew was punctual and cleaned up when they were done. Once I had an opportunity to see the lights at night, I had a couple changes I wanted to make. They followed up in a timely manner and made sure I was happy with the adjustments. The equipment is high quality brass and operates either manually or by an app.

I value the fact that Houston Lightscapes is locally owned. I spoke with another company a couple days prior to meeting Mike. They were a franchise of a national company. The other company's sales guy and his lead installer showed up to my house in a brand new X7 and Tesla. They had a high pressure sales pitch. That didn't sit well with me. Mike is a normal guy and arrived in a white truck. I felt like I was getting a fair deal. I would use Houston Lightscapes again.

They did our front yard lighting I’m guessing 5 years ago and it still looks amazing. We had a few go out once and since we were still under warranty they came out quickly and fixed them for free. High quality products, don’t stub your toe on a light, it will win. Highly knowledgeable people. We will definitely call them to do the back when we are ready.
