I recently had my tree and stump removed from a very difficult spot. Omar explained everything clearly, which made the process easy and smooth. It took the crew two days to complete the job, and they were professional, friendly, and hardworking throughout the entire process. They also made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future

I cannot recommend EGE Tree Service highly enough! After a severe thunderstorm knocked over my large Texas Cedar Elm tree in the early morning hours on Saturday, Alex came straight to my house in the pouring rain to assess the damage. Other companies I called wanted to postpone sending someone out for at least three days, but Alex stepped up immediately. While inspecting the property, he also noticed my other Cedar Elm was rotting at the stump. To prevent it from crashing into my house later, I decided to have it removed too.

The crew showed up promptly on Monday morning and blew me away. This is hands down the best service crew I have ever hired. Watching them work was like watching a synchronized concert; every person operated in perfect harmony and knew exactly what to do. In just three hours, they removed both massive trees, trimmed up one of my Chinese Tallow trees, and thoroughly cleaned up every bit of their mess.

Because I meticulously maintain my lawn to golf-course standards, I was worried about property damage. However, the crew was incredibly careful, using ropes to gently lower the cut branches to the ground instead of letting them drop. They didn't damage my grass at all.

The next day, they brought in a stump grinder. Nelson even went above and beyond by helping me dispose of all the sawdust and chips. Professional, efficient, and deeply respectful of my property—EGE is top-tier!

I had three trees that were long overdo for a trim. Alex and his crew did a great job of trimming our trees! They were very professional and worked very clean. The price was right too! I would highly recommend them if you ever need a tree trimming service!

Had a large limb crack and fall on my garage after severe wind. Called for a quote late afternoon. Received quote quickly for a very fair price. Crew showed up next day and removed limb. Did a great job of cleaning up. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

One of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. Met him in place of my father who was at work. Everyone was aware a non home owner would be meeting him. Had me describe the issue which was no problem but then immediately said he refused to speak with me and left. Absolutely disappointed by the customer service, and company as a whole.

The arborist came on time . Recommended a couple of things to help the tree. Service was performed that same day.

If you really care about tree’s health, you should start with your trucks meeting regulations.

If I could give this business zero stars I would!! I have given these guys more than one opportunity. (that does make me look like an idiot)The aborist is knowledgable but incredibly arrogant and very disinterested in other peoples time.

He stated what limbs would be cut on my oak tree and stated I would not need to be there. The workers cut the wrong limbs. They had to come out a second time -- I had to take off from work and make sure that they cut the correct ones.

I had some mushrooms growing out of the base of the oak; AFTER THEY HAD TREATED IT!!!! Don't believe that their use of the alledged treatment is helpful....do NOT spend your money on it. ($600 treatment--not worth it) I asked them to come out and look and stated I would prefer an early morning meeting. They called me two days later and set it for 3-5 pm on a Monday instead of a Friday that I requested. I needed to take some time off from work and then they call me at 4:20 the day of the appointment to state the arborist cannot make the appointment.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Very undependable and arrogant. They were not apologetic at all. All the receptionist could say was she understood my being upset. ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!!

READ the other reviews. This guy is a total narcissist ......using this term beause I can't use what he really is. Michael Berry should apologize for recommending him. I will call his show the next time he brings him up.

Had a consult with Louis. The first 30 seconds were fine, until I questioned something he said, because I read something conflicting with his advice. He was immediately defensive. He said, “ well I would love to read that article, but what do I know!? I’ve only been doing this 50 years!!?.” That’s probably all you need to know for you to make an assessment, but I’ll elaborate.

I didn’t argue, just said ok. He could not get past me questioning him the entire consult. He made fun of what I asked at least 3 times, 1 time in front of my husband, to make a point. He finished the consult by listing his accolades and who he is on the radio with and all the big names that look to him for advice. Seemingly reinforcing why he should never be questioned and why I was a moron. 15 minutes later I paid him 65.00 for this. Another reviewer called him a narcissist. I can confirm. I would never work with such an arrogant person who can’t even handle a legitimate question.

Oh and he quoted 2500.00 to trim my two live oaks, that are not massive, that were just trimmed last year.

After Beryl, our trees had experienced so much damage, we decided to call Ability Tree specialists to come check. They advertise on Michael Berry and we listen to his broadcast. They came out to spray for insects that had invaded our oaks , threatening to kill them over time. I asked one of the men to be careful around the Koi pond. He took offense when I asked him because I spoke Spanish to him. He yelled at me “that He Spoke English!” I immediately apologized and said in English, to please be careful of the koi fish in the pond. There were five fish in that pond. Three of them 18 years old and the other two twelve. The next day I started loosing fish. I lost three over the course of two days. I feel he did it on purpose, labeling me a “Karen”. We called Ability Tree and told them the next day of our first death. They promised to call us back. It’s been three weeks and nothing. I’m warning everyone to be careful of hiring them. They may be tree specialist but the customer doesn’t rate even a phone call. And being a fur baby or a fin baby, they don’t care. Our bill was over $800.00 from them. The fish they killed were worth over $1800.00 . these are the two left

Wow I should have read the reviews here before I wasted 150.00 to have Louis be rude condescending and arrogant. I too asked questions and like other reviewers Louis immediately hit me with his hostility. I got a quote of over 6800.00 for two trees. He will not entertain questions or bother to educate his customers. Just pay up sucker. Stay away. Sad to see Michael Berry allow this guy as a “sponsor” and treat his listeners this way. Makes me think twice about using other sponsors.
