We moved into our home about 8 years ago and have spent countless hours reimagining our dream outdoor space (it needed a lot of work!). In anticipation of another hot summer, we finally decided now is the time. We researched many companies and gathered a number of quotes, what a daunting experience! But, once we met Lauren and shared with her our vision and she offered her expertise, we knew we were in good hands! Lauren and her team were on point from start to finish. Her team was professional and reliable and communicated with us throughout the entire process. For the first time, probably ever, we had a project completed in budget and within a reasonable, accurate timeframe.
It was so exciting to be going into the hottest time of the year knowing that we can finally enjoy our beautiful pool and outdoor space and we have L3 Designs to thank! If you are on the fence about an outdoor project, give L3 a call, you won't regret it!

Lauren and her team did a terrific job in helping me remove 2 large trees I lost during the storm. The team was efficient and very courteous. They removed a garden shed debris that had been destroyed and helped organize equipment that was saved. Their prices are reasonable and they show up on agreed clean up date. I have recommended them to other neighbors who were also very pleased.

Not a good experience!  We hired L3 Landscape Design to scrape our backyard, install a drain system, completely level the yard, and resod with San Augustine grass.  Once completed, the yard was not level and in addition, we had a lot of separation between the grass squares. There were many areas with noticeable low spots and indentions.  We were told the dirt and grass needed to settle for a while, so we waited for a short period of time before contacting L3.  The owner is friendly and pleasant but not good at following up in a timely fashion, or with overseeing the crews, and ensuring that the work gets done to the clients' satisfaction.  We had to reach out to L3 several times before we could get the crew back over to attempt to correct the issues.  There seemed to be a lack of communication and clear direction with the crews. When the owner/sales came out to discuss our concerns, she was full of excuses instead of acknowledging that the entire yard was not level.  And mentioned that some of it was due to our dogs.

The crew returned and put in a very light amount of top dressing, but it did not begin to resolve the issues, and the yard is still completely uneven.  There are still holes, and trenches between the grass squares, which makes it difficult to mow.  Our yard visibly looks more uneven than before L3 started their work.  The drain system seems to be working fine, but the yard does not look like a professional landscaping crew did it.  We have a very large yard and we feel like they did not use enough grass squares to adequately and properly cover the yard. It appears that instead, they tried to make do with an insufficient amount. We spent a lot of money to have this work done, much more than anticipated, and we are very disappointed. L3 over-promised and under-delivered on our job.  Therefore, we would not recommend L3 Landscape Design for this type of work.

We’ve worked with Lauren Olenius and L3 Design for about 10 years. Our yard looks the best it’s looked since the initial landscaping. Even my husband has noticed how healthy and lush the plants look. We have some replacing and improvements to make since the latest round of storms, but I expect Noel’s, and Lauren’s, response and input to be timely, as usual. L3 has been especially helpful when I’ve needed extra plantings or tidying before a party or event. We’re quite happy with the care and the crew.

L3 first completely designed our backyard to include outdoor kitchen, pool, and landscaping.The result has been truly amazing. Every visitor is wowed by our outdoor living area.

In addition, their maintenance has been excellent. They add a personal touch to their landscaping service. Each week they not only mow but manicure all beds and shrubs. Fertilizing and lawn/plant treatments are provided when necessary.

I was looking for a company to do whatever was needed to keep my landscaping looking great and L3 has definitely met my expectations.

A home is a large investment and the yard is so important. L3 goes well beyond cutting and edging grass, they take care of the yard. Their service includes killing weeds, applying fertilizer, trimming shrubs, taking care of the sprinkler system and outdoor lighting. Took our design payment and after a terrible experience with one of her project managers (who she then fired) she agreed to refund us, but since then has completely stopped communicating and has kept all our money. I can’t imagine treating anyone this way (clients or otherwise).

We engaged L3 for a complete renovation of the exterior of our property - landscaping, hardscaping, pool remodel, driveway, lighting, irrigation, etc. It was a big and complex project, and Lauren and L3 were up to the task! Gold Rose Landscaping was recommended by our builder. Daniel Jr gave us a very reasonable priced quote for better options when compared with other contractors. The managed to remove all the giant timber bamboos I had in the backyard that died during the freeze. He replaced it with Holly trees. The work was impecable. Would highly recommend
