Helms Landscaping did an incredible job with our backyard. We highly recommend them as we have had artificial turf in the past and there’s no comparison. Helms turf and installation was top notch. They are professional and deliver high quality.
They also installed a putting green and worked closely with us to get exactly what we were looking for. They know golf well.

I priced out many different bids and Helms Landscaping was very competitive. Chris was responsive via text with my many questions. End product was better than we hoped. We ultimately went with turf for main part of backyard and black star gravel for the sides of house and back of garage. We had a large area to cover it looks absolutely amazing. He tied in our downspouts for a very clean look and was able to add metal poles to the perimeter for shade sails I will add later to cover the pool area. Schedule got a little delayed because of the weather which was out of his control. We are very, very happy with the end result. Thanks again, Chris!

My wife and I were extremely happy with the outcome of our outdoor project. We had Helms Landscape work on both our front and back yards with installation of artificial turf, blackstone gravel and placement of additional drainage systems. Chris and his team worked very diligently and the project went extremely smoothly. Chris was actually on site everyday to supervise things. He clearly takes pride in his work and the company and it shows in the results. He was always courteous and easy to contact regarding questions/concerns. I would recommend this company to others without any hesitation.

We hired Helms Landscape Design in Fall of 2022 to install artificial turf in our backyard and lay large square concrete stepping stones around the edge. It has been three months since the job completion, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome.

Chris just installed artificial turf in our backyard as well as some additional plantings. He was extremely easy to talk with and responsive to our needs and desires. His quote was quickly obtained and was detailed, all inclusive and competitive. His crew arrived (with him) promptly when scheduled and were unobtrusive and obviously skilled at what they do. He was readily available when we had questions, accommodating when we wanted to alter the original design and finished the work in the promised time frame. The work involved some changes in our sprinkler system and he even sent his sprinkler guru over when the job was completed to make adjustments and ensure that the system was working at peak efficiency. Helms landscaping did an outstanding job on our custom home. They listened to our budget concerns, steered us away from certain things that would not work well in the long term, and when they came to do the work were willing to make several changes to insure we were highly satisfied. Throughout the entire process Chris was and, to this day, remains extremely responsive. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Helms Landscape Design.

I am a perfectionist and very detail-oriented, and I have zero complaints. Chris and his team were incredibly responsive, timely, and talented! His crew was clean and respectful, and the pricing was incredibly competitive. He did a fabulous job renovating our entire backyard to make it more dog-friendly! Our pups love it! And so do we! In a few months, I hope to have him and his crew back out to tackle the front yard. He’s a 10-10! If you’re thinking about hiring him, you should! You will not be disappointed!

I was beyond impressed with the whole process with Helms. From the initial estimate to the installation, it was all easy and seamless. We installed Astro turf, trees and some concrete steps. The whole process was very professional, efficient and all our questions were answered timely. I made several changes during the process and they always accommodated with no issues. Chris is the consummate professional. He is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but his work quality is worth every penny. His team did a fantastic job and left the site cleaner than when they arrived. He noticed a piece of turf that didn't quite match the rest and showed it to us before he left. He is coming back to replace the small section in the coming week. Chris is honest, dependable and a very strong communicator throughout the entire process. We were so satisfied with the experience we are having him come back to landscape our front yard.

It was wonderful working with Helms Landscape! The owner, Chris, was very responsive and professional. He completely got my vision aesthetically and functionally. He figured out how to solve a drainage problem that 2 plumbers could not. And all the drains are now hidden under turf and rocks. The yard looks beautiful and is so much more usable now. It is my kids’ outdoor haven! Chris’s team was also amazing! They were incredibly kind, respectful, and professional. They clearly had been working together for a long time and knew exactly what to do. They cleaned up after themselves every day and communicated clearly with us. Chris and his team installed artificial turf at our home and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. It looks amazing. Chris did a great job for us in transforming our backyard. It was a pretty difficult job that required building in new steps removing a pool building a fence laying turf and dealing with a highly detail oriented. Customer. Two years later, I called Chris and asked him to look into something for me and he quickly jumped on it even though I was well outside of the guarantee. Besides the quality of the work, Chris was a great guy to work with.
