The service is great. My pool has never been cleaner, and the staff is very respectful.

Had some issues with our pool heater and wanted someone to take a look. I received a quick phone call reply from them when I inquired online. I immediately spoke with a gentleman who was very knowledgeable about pool heaters and had some ideas of what the issue might be.

He scheduled a visit and arrived as promised. He diagnosed the issue and quickly came up
with recommendations to save us the hassle of replacing the heater immediately and save us money. He also gave me ideas on what else might need to be addressed longer term. Very honest and wasn’t trying to sell me anything. Lone Star clearly had our best interest in mind and educated me on what we needed to do. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

When I call Most other pool service companies, I get an office manager who can only tell me “we have an $89 service call charge and we really can’t tell you anything until we get out there”.

Lone Star gave me confidence before they even came out and instilled the confidence after they gave me honest and informed advice.

Lone Star Pool Services has been our go to for about a year now. They have been extremely helpful and flexible with keeping everything clean. Would highly suggest this company to anyone.

I signed up with Lonestar pools at the beginning of July 2024. This was after essentially two weeks of trying to get them out to give me a quote. Should have stopped there. They gave me the quote and I signed up which they said they would be out twice a week to service our pool. I believe that first week they only came out once. Once the week after and then hurricane Beryl hit. No one showed up for a week and a half after hurricane Beryl which is completely understandable. They came once and poured chems into the pool and then left. Since they did not get any of the debris from the pool I proceeded to clean it myself. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the overwhelming situation all of Houston was in and the pool business in particular. Two weeks after Beryl I called them to check in because no one had been out. I was told that they would be back normal service. No one came. Today one of the owners came to our house. I questioned when normal service would resume because our pool is lime
green. He proceeded to curse me out as my toddlers peered through my windows. I canceled on the spot and he continued to curse me out as he walked to his truck. I am not one to post reviews but just wanted it to be known with what kind of company is being run here. The unprofessionalism of todays interaction was comical. By no one other than the owner of the company. BEWARE. They refunded part of my money. I am taking it and running as far as I can.

Amazing pool service made my pool go from Grinch green to Bahama blue. I already scheduled a follow-up. Worth every single penny, and I’m grateful I called this professional group of young men to help clean my pool. They also educated me on ways to save money so I don’t have to constantly pay for pool service.

Where do I start, worst pool service ever. Lied about vacuuming pool, told me his guy fell of the wagon occasionally is why he didn’t show up for scheduled cleaning, then left pool filthy. Pic is how pool was left after they serviced it. Contacted him and he told me to run the Polaris for a few hours to pick up the dirt!!

In October 2018 upon moving into our new home we hired Lone Star to replace our pool lights, pump, and a filter cleaning. All was great until I discovered this light sitting at the bottom of our pool. I noticed the small screw holding this light in place was broken with a piece of the screw stuck inside the bracket. Figuring there would be at least a 1 year warranty I called the owner. He refused to conduct a free fix and instead wanted a fee of $150 to repair or secure this light. He said "I don't know if someone pulled on it". We spent a lot of money on not only these lights but a new pump and filter cleaning. Apparently they do not warranty their parts as this was installed by them 9 months ago. Pool was not used during the winter and has hardly been swam in. He ended our call with some expletives as he hung up on me after I informed him I'd be posting my review and opinion. I'm also going to share this on our community Facebook page as most of us have swimming pools.

Charles and his crew have taken care of my pool needs for some time now. Always very responsive, straight shooters and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. Had to replace all of my equipment after the apocalyptic Houston freeze in 2021. They took care of me quick and didn’t gouge me!

I kept finding my dryer turning off before the load was dry, and it made me think the unit was going bad. When the technician from LintAway Squad arrived, he checked the vent line first. It turned out lint had clogged the airflow. After the dryer vent was cleared the dryer went back to running normally.

The men came out that afternoon and found that the vent was severely blocked, resulting in a dangerous heat buildup that had built up over time. They cleared everything completely and told me what had caused the buildup. I’m just happy that everything’s safe now and my dryer is running great. I will not forget the professionalism with which the LintAway Squad treated this situation.
