I simply asked for a simple cleaning. Clean the stove, refrigerator, bathrooms and clean floors. After 2 hours my house looked the same as I did when I got the keys. It didn’t make it any better that the cleaners could not understand what I was saying. I was over charged and I am now up cleaning what I paid to have done. Will never use again or recommend.

Today Sara and Tonya came back out to clean. They came prepared and did a great job. I appreciate that Mr. Brian kept in contact to make sure that I was satisfied. Thank you Mr. Brian.

I got a one time cleaning of my apartment, and the ladies did an excellent job. When you’re always on the go, it makes it very difficult to maintain like I’m used to keeping my place, and this cleaning helped tremendously!

I can't say enough good things about Merry Maids Houston, specifically our professional Maria ! Maria and her team were incredibly thorough, friendly, and punctual, leaving my home sparkling clean from top to bottom. They even went the extra mile to tackle those hard-to-reach areas I'd been neglecting. Highly recommend them for a truly professional cleaning experience!

BE AWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES! I was quoted that a deep cleaning for my house would take either 3 hours with one maid or 1.5 hours with two maids. They knew my square footage, number of beds/baths, and that I have a dog. They sent two maids, and one hour in I got a call that it would take an additional hour ($160) to finish my house. My options were either to pay the additional money or to have them leave having cleaned only half the house. I feel like I was scammed. Will not be using again.

Prompt and courteous service, worth the expense, although not fluent in English, worked as expected, one person 2 hours, not quite as attentive to detail as I would like, but certainly did a fine job.

They do great work and are very transparent! Lieny has done an amazing job with the monthly cleans and I like how they move my random stuff out of the way to clean surfaces.

They did a wonderful job. The only down side was no one spoke English so it was hard to express priorities that I had for cleaning. They actually did more than I expected but required extra time to finish with my first priority. I will use them again.

My bestie gifted me a deep clean service, as I had just moved into a new house. They showed up very late and then rushed through the house. I was asked what did I want done given that they didn't have much time. I was so exhausted, i didnt check there work until they left. Whe. They were still in the house, I saw was a very clean shower door and i was happy. After they left, I realized they had not performed a deep clean at all. I had spider webs and so much dust in the blinds and under cabinets. The kit ken and bathroom floors were alson dusty and not clean. They were very pleasant, which is why I gave them two stars.

I paid for a deep clean worth $300 and did not receive a deep clean. Sure they dusted fans and lightly cleaned surfaces and polished appliances, but noticed they did not dust blinds, which I paid for they did not dust windowsills or shelves. I also paid for a baseboards to be cleaned and they were still dirty. I should have known they did half the job when they only spent 2 hours doing a deep clean in my 3 bed 2 bath home. It was very disappointing. I will not be using this company again.

Update: Had another team come out for no additional charge and the deep clean looks great! Thanks for making it right.

They have been my regular cleaners since last year. I am very happy with them. I want to give a big shoutout to Lucia. I have had my house cleaned for 34 years now, and Lucia does the best floor cleaning.

Overall everything was good, one toilet bowl didn't seem like it was scrubbed, but just wiped down. Also, items that were moved on counter tops, dressers, etc. weren't placed in the same spot.

Our house was decorated for Christmas and full of presents and clutter - and our team cleaned so thoroughly in spite of all of it and they did a tremendous job. They made an extra effort in every room and left us fun little surprises with our towels and blankets in bows etc. It was a treat to come home to such a clean and beautiful house despite leaving them a bit of a challenge. We so appreciated it!

UPDATE: I am updating my review because I was contacted by the owner shortly after making this review. We had a long conversation, because he actually wanted to get to the bottom of it all. What I did not expect was full accountability! We came to a resolution and I am happy with the outcome. More importantly, the lasting impression is I feel valued as a customer.

0/10 do NOT recommend!! Wasted $450 of my hard earned money!!! My experience was terrible! I had used them before in the past with a good experience but this time was bad. The cleaning was not good or what I paid for. The home was even vacant with not much in it and I paid for a deep clean. The kitchen was not cleaned well, countertops were dirty. The fridge wasn’t cleaned well. Window sills and baseboards were dirty in some areas. Some of the light fixtures were dirty and dusty. They sent the same team back to re clean and they were extremely late with no one calling to notify me just had me waiting! I had to leave the door code and leave so I was not present for the clean. It looked no different afterwards! When we moved in the floors were dirty and picking up dirt on the bottoms of our feet! The worst part is my light fixture in the kitchen was broken and they lied about it! I have photos of how it looked before they came and after!! I wasted nearly $450 to end up having to clean it myself while unpacking which is what i wanted to avoid! I have had many cleaners in the past but this was my worst experience! I requested a partial refund but they declined and only offered to come clean a THIRD time which was a waste of time!
