This is a great company! Bill was quick to respond, showed up exactly when he said and was very professional. He worked on the furnace until it was running again despite it having a complex problem. I absolutely recommend Sugar Land AC and Heating!

Great job, really went the extra mile. Had an old water heater from ages ago that was never removed from the attic because it was too big to fit through the door. Bill came through removed it and did the additional wood work. I'd definitely use them again in the future!

Bill came on time and fixed my AC issue right away. He was knowledgeable and experienced. It took him less than 30’ to have my AC running again. The previous AC man came to my house twice and did not fix the issue. Said that my AC was bad and I would need to replace soon. Had gas leak from furnace and called Sugarland A|C and heating on Sunday night and they came and fixed the problem on Monday morning. Servicemen were very professional and wore masks and booties before entering my house. They explained what caused the problem and took necessary steps to prevent it from happening again. They took pictures to show me what the problem areas were. Both very nice guys and pleasant to talk to. They were reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

Bill of Sugar Land AC and Heating came out to my house within 24 hours of my call and adjusted his time based on my availability. He diagnosed and fixed my heater problem quickly. He stuck around for a few extra minutes to check that everything was working before heading out. He went out of his way to address some other concerns I had about our home’s air flow. Bill and his team are very reliable and trustworthy. They get the job done efficiently. I am so glad I switched to Sugar Land AC and Heating.

Bill provided a detailed estimate with 3 options for the total replacement of the AC, heater, and ducts and reviewed the options with me and answered all questions. He and his team were able to complete all of the work the next day and also cleaned up nicely. I would recommend Sugar Land AC and Heating for maintenance services and replacement equipment.

We had another ac company, which was sent by our warranty, spend 2 minutes at the house, then told us we needed a new evaporator coil...never even went in the attic. Bill came and checked everything thoroughly and the evaporator coil wasn't even the problem. He and his assistant did the repairs for a fair price. He even took the time to show me what was wrong and provide an explanation. Definitely recommend them for trustworthiness and efficiency.

Fantastic service and very good communication. Bill and Joe came out same day to diagnose my issue and were quick with a solution and a great price for the parts and service. They took care of my problem and I will be keeping them for all my A/C and heating needs. I highly recommend their services and friendly help. You will not be disappointed!

Update 2024:
Bill came out and took care of me at last minute charged fairly and got to the root without overselling services!

Bill did a great job a year ago for us when we need a heat and ac inspection before we purchased our house. A year later we took care of the items that were in the list to repair and he even matched the prices previously given even though inflation had made them go up. He is a old school and will look out for you when he can.

In speaking with Nikki and telling her my issue I was assured that my AC problem would be handled most quickly..
Manny the service engineer came out and immediately went to work and told me what my issue was. (No well, I think that.) as other contractors do. Manny knew after 10 minutes.
My AC is running like it was 24 hours ago.
I now hopefully enter into a longtime relationship with this company. I am glad to be a customer

Nikki is awesome! She gets a tech to you home quickly and follows up with all your needs. Bill (the owner) is on top of the service and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing ac and heating repair, Mainer menace and service.

Bill and his brother came by and saved the day. My AC went out and they responded promptly and were at my door 20 minutes later.
They explained what was going on, serviced my AC quickly and were in and out within an hour.
I’ve used them before and will continue to recommend them to family and friends. Bill really went above and beyond. He was very personable, friendly, educated me on what was going on and he even offered to help get my garbage disposal working before he left. In addition, I needed my old fridge removed. He looked into that issue as well. Even though he wasn’t able to get it fixed, he let me know he knew a plumber to refer me to. Great service.

I don't take the time to write reviews yet, I felt led too with SLACH. Furthermore, I'd figure it would help someone out if they were on the fence with calling them for service like I was. I must say I was very pleased with my experience with them & would highly recommend. From, speaking with Nikki over the phone up until my AC was repaired. I expressed my concerns with her due to, past experiences. She was patient with me and scheduled my appointment with the owner of the company (Bill Means). When Bill came out he was very straightforward. In addition, he went above and beyond as far as cleaning up behind someone else's mess from a previous hvac company that I found on Thumbtack whom, left the pieces disassembled and parts were missing. That same company acted as if they wasn't sure as to what the issue was, if they could get the parts & mentioned the possibility of having to replace the unit. Some of these companies will try to take advantage of you by selling you services you may not need or so quick to tell you to a replacement is the only option. I'm so glad I listened to my inner being and got a second opinion by reaching out to SLACH. Thankfully, my AC is still going strong:-) Don't hesitate, call and schedule your appointment today! My furnace blower motor went out. Bill is the owner and he took care of warranty part paperwork and got a new part and installed it for a very reasonable price. I have trusted Bill and his company for past 4 years and will continue to highly recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

Bill was referred to us by my mom who has had Bill service her home for the last 10-15 years, even prior to him opening his business. Very reliable and honest guy. Our house had a good AC unit when we bought it but needed all new duct work. He was good at explaining what we need, very reasonable (we had several companies come out to quote us), and efficient with the project start to finish. This company did our duct work, changed out our old out-dated vent covers, and added in two bathrooms' fans/vents. Very happy with the work done and will be long-time customers just like my mom!
