I reached out to GoldStar Home Services via Thumbtack. They were responsive and scheduled a time for a visit at the cost of a $49 upfront payment. Eric Jasso visited my house, looked at the issue, and quoted a fixed-cost troubleshooting fee, including one fix out of three potential issues. My issue ended up being just a loose wire, so it was just a quick fix that took a few minutes. He is very polite and professional; however, the company seemed expensive to me. Because they got delayed due to their previous appointment, I had no time to look for alternatives and decided to pay them to get it repaired, as I had to leave for a business trip early the next morning. No doubt about Eric’s knowledge in the area, but the company is expensive for minor electrical repairs. I would look for an alternative before calling them again.

Great and thorough service. I had a weird electrical issue in a new house full of boxes. Eric and Erfren diagnosed and resolved the issue professionally and quickly. They cleaned up after and explained what happened, how it happened, and made sure I didn't have any questions.
They also didn't mind my kids screaming.100% would use again

These guys are PROS. They put new lights in my movie room and helped me decide how much lighting I really needed. They go above and beyond and even helped me put my screen back after my painters! Ten stars!
