Electrical reviews in Katy, Texas

Taras did an awesome job installing an Interlock kit and 50 amp breaker with outdoor outlet on our house so that we can plug in our portable generator and power what we need during an emergency. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for good electrical work to be done on their house

Taras is the man! He was extremely professional and very respectful. He spent the extra time to make sure everything worked right but also looked perfect.
I have had Taras from Town Electric work on my house twice now. He installed a full battery back up system for me and relocated my main panel, then when I figured out that original location for the batteries that I chose was not where I wanted them, he came out again and helped me relocate the subpanel to the best spot. He is very friendly and easy to chat with while he is working. He also was very flexible and respectful of my time. I will be calling him exclusively from now on when I need any electrical work done on my house. Don't search any further, you have found the electrician that will take care of you!

Taras recently completed installation of a beautiful chandelier on our 20-foot ceiling in the foyer/entryway. He has done electrical work for us in the past and I won’t hesitate to use his services again. He is always very professional, patient and thorough with his work. He’s a licensed electrician who is skilled at what he does. Also, charges are reasonable and fair. Don’t hesitate to call him when you need electrical work in your home!

Taras did a great job to replace my breaker panel.

Taras did a fantastic job with our complicated chandelier. He was very attentive to detail, listened to what we wanted, and made sure it was to our liking. He is very hard working and we highly, highly recommend him! Very satisfied customer!

We had an amazing experience with this team! They installed 17 lights throughout our home and did a truly outstanding job. From start to finish, they were professional, extremely organized, and knowledgeable. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and they left everything spotless. It’s rare to find contractors who care this much about quality and customer satisfaction.
We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch electrical work!!

I contracted Taras for an installation of a ring floodlight camera. It is fair to say that I am more than happy with his work!! He responded to my texts and call fairly quickly. He was quick to schedule an appointment and arrived on time. He also made the set up to my specifications and was quick and clean about it. He was reasonable with the pricing and didn’t gouge me like most contractors do. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family and will be using him for future electrical needs. Thanks again Taras

Great electrical services

Owner is well known in our residential group pages. Did a great job installing a whole house suppression system and GCFI breakers; though this was back in 2017.

Contacted for simple re-wiring in home during reno. Paid full amount for all work and he was to come back to do Trim Out. I called, more than once, he never came back. Ended up doing it myself. Paid for Trim out but didn't come back or call about it.

I have used Justin for small projects he is always very friendly and fast. He has also done great work on a large project for my parents home. He give straight answers without trying to add on costs.

Had a super experience with Macri Electrical Services! On time, fair pricing, excellent work. Will be using them from now on!

Justin came out to fix a breaker issue which was causing our WiFi and living room technology to be out of service. He arrived on time and was fast with the repair. Definitely recommend this company for any electrical needs.

Ridiculously overpriced. I had 4 electricians come out for estimates and Macri was $1700 higher. Two of the electricians informed me that they've been called out a couple of times to correct some of Macri work. I wouldn't recommend!

Justin did some major remodel electrical work for me and my wife and it was all exceptional work and done in a very timely manner, he has also replaced many shop lights thru out our shop and I was very satisfied! He is the kind of person if you have a problem, he will make it right!
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Didn't want to write this review since I have successfully hired Justin before but service has decreased. Contracted Macri for much greater costs against suggestion by general contractor on a patio remodel. Specs for two high-end heaters were emailed prior to job and the job was wired incorrectly. Heaters work but not as designed. It took several calls/ texts to get the problem corrected and when he came out the problem was still not fixed just covered up. Upon reviewing pictures I took during construction, I noticed that the wiring was not completed as proposed. Job has been paid in full and no one responds anymore to calls/ texts. I potentially have a solution but no one responds so I am left with no resort but online reviews. I cannot recommend.

I called Macri to help check and repair my garage door and security cameras electrical connection. He came on time as promised. He checked and realized that my outlet switch was off. He turned it on and didn't not change me any money. I was amazed at his honesty and kindness. He fix my electrical issue for free. Thank you very much Macri.

I have utilized Macri Electrical for many years as a sub contractor. They have always performed professionally with all my clients. All wiring had been done as required and with no issues. Many of my clients have hired them for outside services repeatedly after engaging during our construction. Macri Electrical is trustworthy, flexible for scheduling and meticulous to detail.

Macri Electrical is the best! Justin is thorough and patient with my questions. I have the utmost confidence in his work, regardless of the situation.

Macri Electrical is my “Go To” for any electrical services!! We have used him for a few years and will continue to use him. My mom needed some major things done at her house and she used Macri Electrical upon my referral and was very satisfied with what she received! He went over what he had to to make sure she had more than what she needed for any further upgrades!! I will always refer Macri Electrical to anyone that needs electrical work!!

I have to admit when I first hired Macri Electrical I did think there was more than one person that did the actual work. I did get an estimate beforehand. We had moved to an older home that needed updating of fixtures. Looked on neighborhood FB and Macri Electrical came up as being local. We live in PG/Richmond. Macri lives in Needville and never lived in PG. Nonetheless, my issue was when I hired them I did not realize that they would be doing other job requests they received throughout the day. I expected if I hired someone that they come on the day they say and work a full day. As time went on, Daniel, the apprentice and not licensed yet, he told me he was still short about 1600 hours, who did all the work at our house would spend at the most about two hours. In other words, at that pace the job took longer than expected. Daniel did great work with the exception of when he told me all work was done for us to go up in the attic and find the junction boxes not covered. I told Justin and he asked Daniel. Daniel said he didn't have any with him. Had we not gone up there with another contractor we would not have known out likely that they were left open. After that, there were days at a time when I was told they would be coming and didn't show or call. Couldn't quite figure out why Daniel could not come to the house when it was Justin who had allergies or stomach issues and said no one worked that day??? Pricing is higher than most other contractors I have used or contacted per item needing done. Justin says he guarantees his work so we will see when and if that happens and I contact him.
