Landscaping reviews in Katy, Texas

I am not a customer, but when they come to landscape the community I live in, they park wherever they choose and do not care about accessibility for the residents. They are rude and when you ask them to park where they’re not blocking driveways, they do it anyway, over and over again. I have seen that they have gotten this review before so clearly they are not responsive to complaints. Bad way to do business.

We recently moved into a new build home in Cypress and our sprinkler system wasn't working correctly. We had a tech from Earth First come out and he fixed the problem within an hour, everything has worked great ever since!

The commercial crews this company sends out are just awful. They take their lunch breaks on the job, they park in the fire lanes behind parking spots blocking people in. Preventing our businesses from operating and jamming up parking lot flow. If it rains they loiter in front of the businesses. They fall asleep on sidewalks and leave trash behind. We have taken up a petition to have our management company fire this company and hire a company which employs crews with even the slightest hint of professionalism.

Earth First Landscapes represents a professional landscape company. I have seen many projects completed and I have been impressed. Their maintenance programs keep the grasses looking like it should be on a golf course rather than a riding arena or a front yard. Professionals also use the proper equipment, and their equipment is impressive.

We wish to compliment the whole EARTH FIRST LANDSCAPE TEAM as an excellent partner in the landscape construction industry. Now having worked with them for over two years, we together have partnered in numerous projects around the Houston Metro area with high visability and profile we are proud to have been a part of. The working relationship with experienced professional team members is vitally important to making everyones bottom line come out as we all want it to while making the sometime difficult scheduling adjustments to get all contractors coordinated to work in harmony rather than chaos and pandemonium.

Aaron, Lalo, and Suhail have done an amazing job communicating with me and addressing areas of concern. I appreciate the efforts made by this team to ensure the community is maintained properly. Thank you all for all that you do!

If their landscaping is at all like their driving, I would stay away. Company vehicle almost ran right into me, didn't even attempt to slow down, when a lane ended and we were merging. Was driving way too fast on a two lane road. Just horrible to act like that in a vehicle with your company's information all over it. If that is the kind of employees they have, I can only assume their work ethic is the same. Shameful.

The team at Earth First is first class. We've referred and worked with them for about three years and it has been great!

Earth First Landscape has been a pleasure to work with. They were all very respectful and professional. We've been doing business with Earth First for 5 years and we wouldn't even think about hiring anyone else for the job!

We hired Earth First to design and install the flower beds around the entrance and other areas of our apartment complex. The flowers look fantastic and from beginning to end, everyone was very professional and friendly. Would (and have) definitely recommend to friends in the industry. Thanks guys!

Earth First is definitely a step up from any other landscaping company I have dealt with. Obviously, some of the previous reviews were written by racists who sees landscapers and somehow beneath them. It in no way reflects the quality of the work. In fact, the quality of work was not even mentioned.

I know for a fact that Earth First does excellent work while treating their employees with respect and dignity. That counts for a lot in my book. They offer creative and cost-effective solutions to your landscaping needs, and I give them an A+.

Also not a customer but I would like to add on that I, like a few others have mentioned, have encountered this company on the road and they are by far one of the worst and entitled drivers. To be sporting and wearing the company logo on the side of their trucks and driving with a lack of self-awareness is not a good way to promote the business. Three instances I’ve encountered them on 99-South and every time they’re either not letting anyone pass when on the right lane or hogging up the left lane disrupting traffic.

Excellent company to partner with. Great customer service and quality work. Professional looking work trucks are a plus. Never any issues with their employees. We've been doing business with Earth First for 3 years now and don't plan on stopping the relationship any time soon.

Working with Juan Fuentes is always a pleasure and he is professional, friendly and easy to work with. Our latest Spring landscaping tuneup turned out great and his team knows exactly how to keep our yard looking its best. We highly recommend JMAS.

Texas lawn care did a landscape project on my front yard and they did a beautiful job. When they finished, they cleaned up the yard. The job was done quickly but professionally. Loved it

Juan and Melissa are exceptional people, and they run an exceptional business. Top quality work and customer satisfaction are guaranteed when working with them I have known them for many years and consider them the best of the best. I have done business with them numerous times and will continue to every chance I get!

My wife called to get a free estimate as their website advertises and they basically said they arent coming out unless they are guaranteed business. We live in Katy. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware!

We just wanted an estimate on the work. Warranty or not, obviously if we need to get the work done out of warranty and then sue the builder for the costs, we are legitimately shopping around. Plenty of other lawncare and drainage companies out there happy to take the job.

I've been using these guys for years now and they always do a great job.

I called them in to replace my entire landscaping after the big freeze. Took care of everything. Their stump grinder made a bit of a mess - they brought out sand and sod free of charge to make it better than it was. The owner supervised the installation to make sure it was done right.
