Tree reviews in Katy, Texas

I had a 50 plus foot tall, 2.5 plus foot diameter, dead pecan tree that was just waiting to fall on the house. I've had several quotes, but none of them would take a credit card. Luis and his crew were across the street doing a job and Luis came and asked me about my dead pecan tree. Luis was very nice, gave me a good quote, and said they accept credit cards for payment. He told me they would take care of my smaller dead tree as well. He said the guys would start on it as soon as they finished across the street. The crew started as soon as they finished across the street and did an amazing job. I still don't know how they kept that huge tree from hitting the house when bringing it down! No stumps left and they cleaned up after finished. The crew were all friendly and worked flawlessly together. I would highly recommend this tree service and I will call them again in the future. Thank you.

Like many of the horrible reviews on here, I too had a disgusting experience with the poor excuse of an owner and company. They cut down my neighbors pine tree and all the sawdust landed in my pool, ultimately clogging it. I reached out to who I thought was the pool company that performed the work and I was later informed it was On Point who did the work. The owner accused me of lying. All I was asking for was the filters of my pool to be replaced and he stated that when my neighbor paid him, he would replace my filters. My neighbors payment is unrelated to the damages made to my pool. Apparently the company is too broke to afford $150 filters. They do not take responsibility or accountability for any damages as stated by many others on here. The owner will talk to you like he’s king of the world. Save your money. Going with this cheap company gives you what you pay for and you will be stuck with additional costs. If nothing is done about this companies havoc, they will continue to destroy and damage and get away with it.

Thank you On Point Tree Service for cutting down 3 dead palms and trimming 6 palms. The best price!!! Honest, prompt and arrive same day, n hour after my call for an estimate! The crew members were courteous, diligent and cleaned well! Another project completed!!!

I highly recommend if you are searching for a company to remove your dead palms or trim them! Another one added to my list!

I would also recommend R & J Tree Service as they were willing to bid a little lower to compete but could only come out tomorrow. Unfortunately, I decided to remove the trees right away so that I may complete my landscaping and mulching.

Pictures added for reference. Other prices were astronomical compared to what they each charged. They were upfront and honest at the start!

Please excuse my green pool, it is next on the list!

On Point Tree Service did an outstanding job at my home. They trimmed my tree beautifully and completely refreshed three flower beds by clearing them out and removing old bushes. The crew was professional, efficient, and left everything clean and looking better than ever. I’m genuinely impressed with their work and highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable, high‑quality tree or landscaping services.

Back in June, I got in touch with Mr. Oswaldo and he was very responsive and professional. He came on site, gave me a reasonable quote and got me scheduled in a matter of days. The crew started early and removed 3 huge Loblolly Pine trees by the end of the day. It was close to the patio roof and there were hanging utility lines nearby. Everything went well and nothing was damaged. I would recommend !

We have had 2 trees (sick and/or hollow) removed by On Point in the past 4 years. They are true to the word they make with you during consultation. They grind the tree stump ALL THE WAY DOWN until it’s level with the lawn. We will continue to spread the word about their good work! They are the best.

This company is the real deal. I had my trees trimmed for the first time yesterday. I shared some feedback with Vanessa and she promised to do everything possible to take care of me. This morning Mr. Garcia himself came to my home and more than answered my concern. They truly care about their customers and their customer service. Their crews did a wonderful job and were so nice. I'm blown away by their prompt and attentive service. I will use them again for all of my tree servicing needs and refer them to neighbors and friends.

I contacted Garcia Tree Services for tree trimming for one of my property managers, they were very pleased with pricing and all of the details given. Chris was able to go without us being on site and explain everything with pictures- he was great to work with.

The crew was great and professional. We will be using them from now on!

Fidel and his crew removed four large oak trees and ground several other stumps at our house. It was a difficult job as 3 of the trees were between our house and our neighbors and one was right next to the power lines. However, the Garcia team did a great job, skillfully roping each branch down to the ground. From estimate to final cleanup, Garcia tree service was prompt and professional. We had 3 other companies out to quote this job and Garcia had not only the best price, but also the best plan to eliminate any collateral damage and protect our freshly poured driveway. I would highly recommend Garcia tree service if you’re looking to have your job done by a professional, hard working crew, at a excellent price.

Garcia Professional Tree service did an amazing job on my back yard. Mr. Garcia did a good job listening to my needs and making suggestions on how to improve my yard. He was very knowledgeable about landscaping and how to properly handle the trees. The crew was fast, professional and went above and beyond. As a new homeowner, taking on large projects and finding the right professionals can be a challenge but Garcia Professional Tree service made it easy and gave me the best value for my money. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone in the Houston area.

I received multiple quotes to remove two large dying ash trees in my front lawn. Fidel and his team had the most competitive quote and were available to remove the trees right away. His team was punctual and did an amazing job in cleaning up. I would highly recommend their services!

Chris and his team did a great job for me - making my front yard and back trees beautiful. They delivered everything I expected. Extremely polite and capable crew - who stayed as long as it took to do a great job. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience and plan to use Garcia Professional Tree Service forever!

I just hired this company. I am more than impressed. Called today, came out today and doing the work tomorrow! Talk about professional! I’ll do another review after they do the work but trust me, hard to find people who have a great work ethic and reliable. So far I’m blown away!

Update: yesterday I got the visit and quote. Hired them. Today they did the work. I’m serious, they treated my property like it was their own home, cleaned up the yard of shavings and leaves - everything - even got on the roof and blew off all the leaves and pine needles. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in caring for my trees. I’m already putting them in my calendar to do an annual walk through to keep the trees healthy. Thanks to you all!!!!

If you have any tree Service needs, this is the company to hire. Yesterday they came to estimate trimming my trees and did the job today. Very professional & efficient. Everything was cleaned up and my trees look beautiful. Give them a call, you won't regret it.

We had a unique tree situation. The majority of the trees we needed trimmed were actually overhang from the neighboring properties. It took us some time to decide what we needed/wanted done. Having to pay for a bunch of trees trimmed/removed that don’t even belong to you, is frustrating. The results though, made it all worth it. Garcia trees gave us a good price. The crew came out and were very friendly, professional and organized. They cut and removed everything we talked about and were quoted for. The clean up was great too. We are very happy with the end result and happy we used Garcia tree service.

This service was very professional and courteous. The price was very good for what I needed done out of three estimates from other companies. They came right away and got the job done. They cut down my tree they cleaned the mess up and took very good care of my property when they came. I really appreciate the work they did and I definitely will use them again if needed.

Garcia Professional Tree Service was truly OUTSTANDING! I sent an online request for a quote and the owner, Fidel, responded within 10 minutes. He came over for a free estimate that same day and then had a crew come do the job the next day! I can't rave enough about how efficient, professional, and prompt, they were from the fair estimate, to the superior job, to the cleanup! THANK YOU to Fidel and his wonderful crew!! Highly Recommend!!

I had three oak trees trimmed and shaped. The work was professionally done and everything from getting a quote, setting up the time to get the work done, and actually having the job done was spot on.

From the initial call for scheduling of appointment to services rendered, words cannot express my high regard for the professionalism rendered by the staff, namely, Vanessa, and Fidel, Owner. Job surveyed, quote given, which was within my budget, and job done the next day which was fantastic. I would like to recognize the crew and Luis for their outstanding work and cleanup. Will highly recommend to all my friends.

I saw they were outside my house working on a neighbors tree, so I asked if they could do mine. Not only was the service done that hour, but price was fair and work done is excellent. Would highly recommend!

I worked with Chris and Vanessa from García’s Professional Tree Service, to set up tree trimming and the removal and stump grind of another tree. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive and honest about their recommendations for caring for the trees near my home. Their tree removal team was hardworking and did a great job. I’m really happy with the work they did and the price point. I’ll definitely be using them in the future. 👍🏽
