Service One Air Conditioning Heating and Plumbing

Had Service one air come out to diagnose my AC troubles. Started out great, the tech knew the issue and started to pull out my blower motor. In the process he stepped through the ceiling creating the hole you see in the picture. After making sure the technician was ok he continued to try to fix my ac problem. The technician had to take my ac blower to try and find a part for it. Hours later he returned saying the warranty company denied the claim and it would cost $1000 to repair the issue. At that time the technician told me that the company would take care of the damaged ceiling and i trusted that to be the case. He did mention that since this was through a warranty company Service One Air Conditioning was losing money on this and that he couldn't do anything else. Before the technician left he gave me the number for the manager to contact about fixing the hole in my ceiling. I called and was told that it was my fault that he fell through the ceiling. They are refusing to repair the hole, stating that I had an unsafe working environment in my attic. This company is apparently very unethical and refuses to fix an issue they created and already agreed to fix. Would not recommend.

To clarify for the response. I never had anyone other than me fall through the ceiling, I did that while installing attic decking. The technician stepped through the one place in the attic without decking. The technician, while on speaker with a lady from your office explained that he had just fallen through the ceiling. The lady from the office said "ok don't worry about it, we will take care of it". I assumed at the point that meant ya'll would fix it. And if that wasn't assurance enough the technician told me that ya'll would fix it.The technician left a number to call and told me to speak to a manager. The technician told me to call the following day before 4pm, because the manager wasnt there after this time. I called and left a message with a lady that told me a manager would call me back. The manager called me back and told me that not only would they not be fixing the damage but that it was my fault, that I created an unsafe working environment. The manager who has never seen the attic in question or even the damage that his technician caused. I repeat that this is a slimy business with no ethics. You cause a problem and try every which way to make it seem like the owner is at fault.

I had the issue fixed the following week from a different company and they did not fall through the ceiling. Just so people know that it was possible to work in this attic without causing damage.
