Reviews of local pros in Kennedale, Texas

We used These guys to cut down some branches and limbs.
They gave us a quote to do all limbs 6 ft from the home and garage. They told us 4-5 hours. They got here after 10am and was done before noon. They took down 2 limbs and some brush. My mini truck could have fit all the stuff. They never did anything over garage and not sure they were even able to reach it.
We were charged $835.
I did have quote and did agree to this. Being that said they did not do hardly anything. I wish I had a job where I could make $700 an hour.
I have pics of trailer that shows how much they took out.
Very pleasant people and not hating. I just think they over charged lots for the work they did.

Our trees are now off the house and they look amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Jimmy and AJs trees service. He showed up 10 minutes before he said he would be there which says a lot about the person he is, got with my wife and I and went over what we wanted again before he started cutting and trimming, just to make sure everyone was on the same page. He would finish one tree, come ask us what we thought and if we liked it, and when we were happy with it he cleaned up all the limbs and debris before starting the next one. He is very knowledgeable on trees and how to trim and clean them up and what’s best for the health of the tree. Very professional and courteous in every aspect. From the first phone call, coming out to quote the job, to the time it was all complete and he was driving away, nothing but courtesy and honesty. I will definitely be using AJs tree service again as well as recommending them to friends, family and anyone else that need tree work.

We highly recommend AJ Tree Service for the excellent job they provided in trimming our trees. They provided a very reasonable quote for the work, very knowledgeable in explaining their recommendation, showed up and completed the work as promised. Very friendly and professional.

AJ Tree Service did an amazing job! Friendly service, reasonable price. They cleaned everything perfectly. We are going to use them in the future! 100 % recommend thank you for doing such a great job!

AJ and his team were great. The trimming and clean up was excellent. Jimmy really cares about the health of the trees and also what would look good and be beneficial for the plants and the homeowner.

We had some very neglected hackberry trees behind two sheds in our backyard that had grown to involve power lines affecting us and our neighbors pole to house lines. The trees provided no benefit to our property and were actually interfering with our wooden fence access. Also, our neighbors on either side of us have beautiful oaks that needed their canopies raised over our property. Not only was I able to reach the owner Jimmy Burns almost immediately on the phone, but he was able to come the very next day ~ a Sunday no less! ~ and was informative and helpful in deciding the best plan for our scope of work. I got an itemized quote quickly that was beyond reasonable. His crew arrived 3 days later on time and fully prepared. They completed bringing BOTH hackberry trees down, trimming everything agreed to, and hauling away every ounce of debris expertly. Jimmy answered every question we had, and was always professional. The crew did the entire job in under 6 hours and were quieter than I could have imagined. So refreshing to find such an honest, highly skilled polite business owner at such a great rate! We'll never use another tree service as long as AJ Tree Service is available.

Jimmy was such a pleasure to work with. He came out the same day I called and gave me a reasonable estimate to trim and shape a tree that was damaged during the cold winter storm. The next day he came right out on time and completed the job in about an hour. Hard worker and very professional. We will definitely use his services again. And I love that he is local.

AJ runs a good crew of men. Prompt service at very competitive prices. I was pleased with his service.

5/5

I called Jimmy on a Sunday afternoon for a quote, he came that evening. He gave me a lot of information about my trees. What kinds they were, what they are good & not good for.
Jimmy then sent me a itemized quote, right then and there, which I greatly appreciated. He and his crew came two days later to do the work. They showed up on time, worked for 5 hrs straight and hauled off all debris. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend him. I will definitely be using their services again!

Jimmy showed up on time and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job. He scheduled the service showed up on time and completed to job in a timely manner. My job was difficult. One tree that was removed grew up through my deck. The other large tree that was removed was next to the house and branched out over my fence. Jimmy protected my property and left my place clean and tidy. I’m very happy with his work.

Jimmy and his crew trimmed one of our trees and removed another. Jimmy responded to my call immediately and came out and gave me a quote that day. The crew was prompt, extremely courteous and professional, and left my yard spotless. Great work! Great price! And they are local too!

Jimmy and his team know what they are doing! They will educate you on the do's and don'ts when it comes to your trees. Their communication of quoting, billing, and notifications throughout the process keep you in the loop the whole time. We have one huge tree on our lot, they did a fantastic job getting it trimmed up this winter.

I called Jimmy early in the afternoon and he was at my house by 3:45. He gave me a reasonable estimate for trimming some trees off my roof. Let me know what day he would be back and he was here early in the morning and done by 9:30. They did excellent work. Not a leaf left on the ground. His crew is extremely friendly take the time to talk to you and let you know that you mean something to them. Which is great customer service. I will definitely use them again and I will definitely refer them to my neighborhood sites and to all my friends! Well done AJ Tree Service . Oh I want to add this was the big reason why I chose this company. He only cut the limbs that he knew needed to be cut several companies wanted to almost cut down my whole tree. He knew which limbs needed to come up off the roof how many feet and he knew which limbs needed to be left. Other companies wanted to darn near cut down my whole tree!

Jimmy's team are people of integrity and will get the job done timely and correctly.

I had a lovely experience with AJ Tree Service. They gave me a quote, answered all of my questions, and did a wonderful job of removing the dead tree in my yard. I had other quotes and I found AJ Tree Service to be the most reasonable. In addition, one company said my yard would be pretty torn up, but AJ Tree Service left the yard rather smooth, despite the stump grinding and removal. Call me a very satisfied customer.

AJ Tree Service came out promptly for a free estimate, was knowledgeable and friendly, and offered competitive prices to other estimates I had received. They were able to come trim our trees, remove a tree, and get rid of some mistletoe just three days after giving us the initial estimate! They did an excellent job in a timely manner. We will definitely be calling them as needed in the future!

We needed our tree trimmed really bad but didn’t want to pay $$$$$$. This company was super affordable, and when I asked for a quote he came the next day and sent me exactly what I needed.
When we contacted him to do business he came out the next day and had it done AsAP! No clean up, they hauled everything off. Great service for sure!

AJ Tree Service I would highly recommend Jimmy and his crew. When I initially called, was surprised when he answered his own phone. We scheduled for 9 am on today Monday he was right on time. I have respect for people who answer their phone and are on-time. My tree was in desperate need of help. He cleared out all the dead limbs and branches, thinned the canape and trimmed the branches over the roof. They cleaned up everything before they left. The owner is a great guy and loves his work. I will always use Jimmy for my tree work. He also does Christmas light too. 10 out of 10!!!!!!

AJ was able to facilitate a crew to come out and remove several overgrown bush stumps along my fence line. Professional, timely and cleaned up the mess. Reasonably priced for the work that needed to be done. Definitely recommend!

Jimmy is very attentive and takes great care of our tree needs. We had a couple that needed to come down and trimmed the rest. Cleaned up very well and on time.

AJ's did a great job lifting the canopy, providing extra light for the yard and eliminating some dead branches. Thanks a bunch for the Quality work! Updating my review, he came back out and eliminated excess acorn branches and cleaned up the low hanging tree branches again. Also took care of the thorn branch bushes and took them down just far enough before winter!
