Plumbing reviews in Krum, Texas

All the staff is very helpful and friendly. Our regular plumber, Neal is awesome.

They were able to quickly come and install and repair faucets and sinks during a remodel. Very professional and fairly priced
-
Call center lady is very rude. That was enough for me to not hire them. Take some classes in customer service.

Todd & Taylor came out to my mobile home and took care of my plumbing problems quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with the work that was done.

Always great working with them

This company has always been great to deal with. After some bad experiences with other plumbing companies in the area, this place is a saving grace. Nice, professional and timely. I highly recommend them!

We had a shower that wouldn't stop running late one evening. After calling the answering service, the technician called me and walked me through what I needed to do to repair it myself. I was able to save what would have been a lot of money by just following his clear directions! Tremendous customer service!

They came by promptly and figured out a solution to my problem but never followed through. It’s like they just wanted my $239 to diagnose and see ya later. I still need my issue fixed. It’s been 2 months.

If you have an older house with bad plumbing underneath you might want to ask about getting the whole thing redone. Our house had several leaks underneath which Wilson and McLean plumbing fixed very well but in fixing this that caused more leaks. Our total bill came out to around $1700 and redoing the whole thing would’ve been a few hundred dollars less than that and we wouldn’t still have a leak under the bathroom.Overall this is a great place to get your plumbing fixed from just make sure you get all the costs upfront and know what you’re buying.

A shout out to Wilson McLain plumbing. During that very cold spell mid December, we had a water pipe burst in the barn, in the wall, and the tack room was flooded. They had someone here in just a few hours, very polite and courteous young men who checked with me about doing what they needed to do, as in tear out part of the wall, which I expected. They had it fixed in record time! I was very pleased!!

My upstairs toilet was leaking through to the downstairs. I had Benjamin Franklin come out and they told me it would be an $1,100 fix... I called Wilson for a second opinion and they got there in less than 24 hours AND fixed the toilet on the spot for $175!! Will definitely be using again!

Barely 4 months in our new build and our home smells like sewage. This is not the first plumbing issue either. Concerned this won’t be resolved and we will be forced to live in construction due to
Faulty installation. -
I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Wilson McLain Plumbing while trying to address a plumbing issue in my home, which is still under warranty with Meritage Homes. From the very beginning, the customer service representatives at Wilson McLain Plumbing were dismissive, unprofessional, and seemed to actively antagonize me during our interactions.
Upon calling the plumbing company on 3/31/2023, I was met with an unhelpful representative who interrupted me while I was explaining my situation and repeatedly put me on hold or hung up on me. When I requested to speak with a manager, the representative became defensive and uncooperative, insisting that she was a manager and there was no one above her to speak with.
Eventually, I received a call back from another manager named Teressa, who not only defended the previous representative's behavior but also laughed and seemed completely dismissive of my concerns. She claimed that they had attempted to reach me on 3/3/2023, but I have no record of such a call. Even if they did attempt to call me once on 3/3/2023, this single call is not sufficient to say that they have been actively trying to reach me, especially when Meritage Homes requested an update. When I asked to speak with her manager, Teressa refused, echoing the same sentiment as the first representative.
We are all busy and that's not an excuse to treat your calls with disrespect. -
I like millions of other Texans had water pipe damage from the recent freeze. I called McLain plumbing on the recommendation of a contractor friend. They were extremely backlogged as most plumbers were but gave me a date and time they would be at my house and they were there. After three hours of replacing multiple pipe burst's we were back in business with water. Evert (hope that's right) worked in a professional manner fixing this system from one line to the next. He was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. When completed we tested all the connections and then it was BILL TIME!!! I wasn't looking forward to that, However I was pleasantly surprised at the cost for his time and equipment. At a time when companies are taking advantage of people, McLain's held their line to the normal pricing structure. I am happy to recommend them to any friend who needs their service!!!

Evert was a nice guy very helpful and knowledgeable. Fast service and well equipped!

God help you if you have to speak with the “manager” Teresa. She’s rude and unprofessional at best. Quality of work in my mothers new home has been awful. One issue after another and having to deal with their “service” department is a joke. Teresa wouldn’t know good customer service if it kicked her in the face. We will be working with the builder to have a real plumbing company fix the shoddy work done by Wilson McLain.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. There are plenty of other reputable plumbing companies that will do right by their customers. Wilson McLain is the company that clarity homes uses for their plumbing in wildcat ridge. We had multiple issues with their work like our shower diverter not being connected so the first time we used our shower we ended up with a living room full of water. Now our bathroom toilet is wobbly. Assuming it was just a poor wax ring I took the toilet off to investigate. And turns out they never secured the flange to the floor. Aka plumbing 101. Something even a new apprentice should be competent enough to do. The reason they didn’t secure it to the floor is the main drain pipe isn’t aligned with the hole. So they settled for an offset flange and half heartedly installed it. After a year of use the pressure from sitting on the toilet caused the PVC on the flange to break from not being secured. Good luck if you use this company. You’re going to need it….

I am so surprised no one has wrote a review for this company on here before. I have had nothing but bad experiences with plumbers since we moved to Texas. Not to mention they want and arm and a leg to do the work even for simple things and 10 minute jobs. I had been praying God would show me who to go with because there are so many to choose from. I never shop at Home Depot, but happen to be in the one in Rockwall when I saw one of the company trucks in the parking lot so decided I would give them a call and see about their pricing. I was pleasantly surprised how much cheaper they were than anyone I have ever dealt with. Juan was great! Friendly, very informative, and informed me of anything that was not expected that came up while installing 3 new toilets for me. I did have a little bit of a communication error with the guy about scheduling and when they were supposed to be coming out, but once that was resolved, I found myself very pleased with the work performed. Thank you Wilson McLain for doing what's right when it comes to work done and people's pocket books. May you be blessed for not being greedy!

Great Work! I hired Wilson McLain plumbing to install the plumbing for a kitchen and a bathroom at a commercial remodeling project I was doing in Justin Texas. Jose Calderon was the foreman he did a great job and the crews he sent out to my project did a great job too! I was very satisfied with the quality of their work and the professionalism of the company

I have been a customer for years of Wilson McLain Plumbing. I called yesterday at 8:10 am and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. Her name was Diane or Diana, either way, customer service can make or break a company. To be honest, I'm considering finding a new plumbing company.

I will not recommend them to my enemy. Worst customer service! I have called to use them twice. The first time I called and made an appointment. They called the next day and needed to change their appointment because their guy got too busy. I call a second time and make an appointment. Not even a hour latter they called back and said their guy is tied up and won’t make my appointment and will have to come tomorrow. He shows up and says he has to go get a part. He calls back and says my office says I have to go on another call I won’t be back today.
