Can't find any words good enough to express how great this company is. We were without power right before the freeze which was horrible but these guys did everything they could to make sure we did not have to go another day without power. They made sure they could get an inspector on short notice and did an outstanding job. I will be using them again, so happy I found them.

I called Double G Electric to get a price quote for some work needed. They came out no charge for a consultation. Other companies wanted to charge $195 just to come out to my house. Double G gave me detailed information of what the cost would be. Very reasonable prices. Great service, I will call them first next time.

The huge storm in Dickinson recently downed a tree in our backyard that took some lines down with it and ripped essential parts from our meter. The power company said they couldn’t help us until we repaired that on our own. I called Double G and they were there within hours and worked well into the evening to complete the repair!! They then called this morning and had a permit pulled for us with the city and got an inspector out today too! Now we are just waiting for the power company to come and do their part. I can’t recommend this company and Gerardo highly enough!! We would have gone so much longer without power had it not been for them. They really went above and beyond and I’ll be telling anyone that needs electrical help all about them!

Dryer outlet wasn't working. Called them and they were able to come out the same day, which was great. After they did their diagnostics, they called and told me that the issue was that the outlet was missing a 4th wire and that a grounding bolt was missing from the main panel. They told me the cost to add that would be $389. I asked them how long it would take to do this, and they said 30 minutes.

So I mentioned that $389 for less than an hour of work just to add a screw and a wire sounded like way too much. They responded with "no one else out there is going to charge you less than this". While I was internally debating whether I want them to proceed with the work or call another electrician, they tell me to hurry up and decide if I don't want to do it because they already have their guy working on it. This, on top of the fact that my tenant was present throughout all this, made me feel pressured to just have him proceed with the work.

Overall, they were able to get the outlet working and I appreciated them being on time. However, $389 for <1 hour of work, less than $20 in materials, all to add a wire and a bolt is expensive. Also, I did not appreciate that they started doing the work before I even agreed to do the work and used this as leverage to close the sale. This is classic contractor dirty sales tactics and I really expected better for a company like this.

Double G Electric came the same day to give me a quote. Next day my breaker was fixed. Very reasonable price. Very respect respectful group.

Gerardo and his staff are the best and knowledgeable. In 10 mins they figured out what was wrong with electric in house. Don't hesitate to give them a call. Jose communicated with me the entire time on when the crew would show up and what needed to be done. Excellent work!!!!!!!!!

I'd had an electricial problem for about two years because another company had come in and charged me alot of money. Buy my husband was recommended Double G Electric and they solved my problem professionally for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I requested this company go to my house and give me an estimate. When they arrived the electricity had come back on so they took it upon themselves to tighten the wires in my box and then charge me for it. 20 minutes after they left the electricity went out again and I called them and asked them to come back so they can see what it is. Instead of coming back he calls Center point to have them come out. Who by the way also wanted to charged me. I already had another electrician there who did a THOROUGH investigation as to what could be going on and actually fixed the issue.He found the problem in the attic which by the way these guys never even thought to check. If you do call these guys I would make sure they fixed the problem before paying them. Also if you call for an estimate and they claim they did something more than what you asked double check before paying them. BTW they had the nerve to put their sticker on my box.

I absolutely recommend Double G Electric! They came out quickly, gave a fair estimate/price, kept in touch while we waited for TNMP, and then were quick to come repair our issue! All of this right after a hurricane! They were excellent communicators, fair priced, and we have added them as our official electrician for our home. Called Double G Electrical company with an emergency because we had a chandelier that was falling, hanging by 1 small srew. This happened after 7pm. The company assigned Hector. He arrived superfast with everything needed for the repair. We thought this job would be easy but when Hector stared to work we found out that the builder didn't attach the fixture to a 2×4 and used a plastic insert (not sure what it's called) to attach the chandelier instead of metal. Hector had to install all and worked with a smile on his face non stop until the job was completed over 3 hrs later. I highly recommend this company and they have earned my trust for future work. The price
charged was very responsible. I will definitely be using them if we ever need any electrical work in the future. A very professional company. I wish I could give Hector more than 5 stars because he definitely earned it. Thank you for being open when we needed you most.
