Reliable and professional service. The electrician explained everything clearly and got the job done quickly.
You can't depend on these people. I had never used this electrician before, but I needed one quick. At 8:30 on a Friday, I booked them solely because they said they'd be here between 10 and 1 on that Friday. At 12:30, I got a call saying they'd be here late. Okay, when? 3 was the response. At 3:30 they still hadn't shown up, so I called and the answering service said they'd call back. At 4, they called, said "can't make it today, see you tomorrow." I stayed home all day waiting on them, but what choice did I have anymore at 4pm on a Friday. So I got them to promise me that I'd be the first appt on Saturday. What time, I asked? 8 or 8:30 am was the response. Cut to Saturday. 8 goes by, 8:30 goes by. I call at 9:30 and say what's up? The answering service says they'll prioritize my call. They'll get back to me in 10 min. At 10:30, with no call back, I call again -- I'm told they're reassigning the appt to a new electrician with the same company. Definitely be out today. At 11:30, I get a call saying the truck's broken down, they'll be out Monday. Yeah, right. I cancel. "That's fine," says the lady calling. The confirmation booking email you get from this company says “100% satisfaction guaranteed.” That’s a load of bull. A cynical person might be tempted to think that they allowed me to book an appt they knew they’d be unable to keep just to get me from calling other electricians, that they’d eventually service this call on their schedule vs. mine, even if that meant days later. The one thing I’m happy about here is that when I initially booked this appt, the answering service – Premium Home Services? – tried to get me on a home warranty plan. I actually considered it, but then decided I needed to try out their service people before signing on to such a plan. I’m very glad I didn’t fall for that pitch.
Mark was great to work with, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to trouble shoot the issue and then offered suggestions. The work was completed quickly and the price was fair. I will definitely use them again.
I was very satisfied with the work performed by Mark with Milton's Electric. His attitude was the high point of an already good customer experience. The price was higher than I had expected when I contacted them, but I was told the final cost before Mark began any work, and the charges were fully explained to me to ensure I knew what I was getting before anything happened. I highly recommend Milton's Electric
Milton's dispatcher told me that there would be no charge other than the $179 that I pre-paid (plus parts) for the tech to come out. First of all the tech never showed for the appointment window, and I never even got a call. Then, after the appointment, I received an invoice for a service that wasn’t done at our house and on top of that an additional $169 in charges, despite the dispatchers agreement. Ive called to resolve it and both support representatives listened to the recorded phone call and had no disagreement about my claim, but instead of correcting the fraudulent invoice, they only wanted to give a small discount.
