Positive experience with a large sheetrock repair after flood damage. Dan did a very professional and neat job. He was prompt and did not leave a mess. Scheduling with the parent company was efficient.

Brandon Miller was efficient, professional and productive. He removed the old patio fan and installed a new one. He did the same with the front door hardware. He was courteous, friendly and a hard worker. We highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again when we have projects to complete.

It’s been quite a journey. We hired a handyman to replace the power outlets and switches in an effort to “modernize” our home. The first day went great, but by the second day, progress slowed down—possibly because of a tricky ceiling fan installation.
After moving in, we discovered that some lights were wired to power outlets, and the bathtub had stopped working. When I contacted the company asking for insurance repairs, they sent the same handyman, who blamed our Levoit WiFi plugs and left without fixing the issue.
I then called a licensed electrician, who found that the GFCI wiring had been installed incorrectly, which had tripped the cut-off for the bathtub, and several switches had crossed wires.
Eight thousand dollars later, everything is finally fixed. Hopefully, I’ll never have to use their service again.

We are very pleased with the work that Brandon has done for us at our shop! He was very professional and detailed oriented. We’ll definitely use Ace Handyman services again for future projects!

Handy man got texture material on Artwork, walls, doors, new floors and ceiling. Drywall he installed is already cracking and coming apart after two hours. Instead of cleaning the texture he decided to paint over it with a paint that doesn't match the original. Friendly guy just not very good at drywall. I will now have to hire another contractor to fix what Ace did to my walls and floors.
The company did reach out after leaving this review and offer to send the tech back out. I do appreciate the call, the level of customer service and the offer. If he could have done it right the first time im sure he would have so there is no reason to send the guy back out. I have contacted another company to redo the drywall.

We had an excellent experience with Ace Handyman Services in Lakeway. From the very beginning, Shaun in the office went above and beyond to accommodate a tricky scheduling situation, and we were impressed by his responsiveness and care. Cliff continued that same level of service at the job site. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly, and did outstanding and detailed work. We highly recommend Ace Handyman Services and we will definitely use them again.

Update: 7/21/25 - After some email exchanges with Cliff, he arrived at my house, and went over my concerns. He corrected what he could and even went outside of the scope of corrections and repaired areas that were unseen by me. This was very appreciated as these areas, no doubt, would've caused (and likely already have caused) damage what would've warranted investing more funding into projects that are not budgeted for. Thank you Cliff for restoring my faith in Ace Handyman Services, and in general, those who make good on their word.

While I can appreciate the overwhelming number of positive reviews, my experience was not a home run. The Handyman assigned to my job was very courteous and understood the job which was simple; remove weathered caulking and apply new around exterior windows. Before the project, I was told that I would receive a call the day before the m to go over the details. This call never happened. I think if it would've, maybe the result would’ve been better. The Handyman used his finger to spread caulk, while this is not unusual, the result is not clean. The caulking is not smooth (gaps in some areas), it was widely spread outside of the zone needed and onto window frames, and trim (see photos) which forces an unnecessary paint job, meaning more expenses. To be clear, the caulk is dry in these photos. I wanted to love the end result of this project as I have a large list of to-do's and wanted a reliable Handyman service but for me, this was not it. It would’ve also been ideal to be advised of a service fee on top of the package (or hourly fee) in advance of the service. The cost of this project, and for the subsequent expenses to correct mistakes, is eye watering. I'm posting this to ensure homeowners ask the right questions...does the Handyman have the right tools for the job? Are there any other fees? Has the Handyman does this type of work before? I did message (text and email) Ace Hardware with my experience and photos, they wanted to chat further. In my opinion, the photos tell the story, i don't know what talking about it further would've accomplished other than prodding an already disappointed homeowner and I certainly didn't want another Handyman at my home. This was a relatively simple project which should've been done well during the initial visit. I requested discounted services but they did not acknowledge the request or honor a discount. With the service fee, the hourly rate was $175. Considering I need to redo it and add more expenses to this project...holy smokes.

Michael did an outstanding job repainting my daycare! He was incredibly thorough and paid close attention to every detail — everything looks absolutely perfect. His communication throughout the entire process was top-notch, and he made sure I was informed every step of the way. It’s rare to find someone so professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Michael and Ace Handyman for anyone needing quality, dependable work done right!

Ace Handyman was such a great find and our tech, Alex was fantastic! We had a project that was a little different and he listened, communicated, and achieved the results we were looking for. This is the second job done with Ace and we are booking the next one ASAP. The hourly rate is a bit pricey, but we ended up under the estimate, so it turned out very reasonable. It's worth the extra cost to get the friendly and professional service!

Daniel has been helping me with a wide variety of deferred maintenance as well as prepping and painting areas where I’m
Remodeling. He goes the extra step, cleans up what other contractors didn’t, and his work is perfect. Would give him 10 stars if I could!

November 2025

The raccoons were at it again and made a tiny hole in the roof which let water in and ruined the soffit. I called to schedule an appointment and encountered my first interaction with an advance AI bot. At first I thought I was talking with a real person but some things were off but acted like it was real. The bot did help me out to setup an appointment with a handyman.

This time Alex showed up and and was able to repair the soffit where did a great job where looks new again. But unfortunately the roof was not property repaired and nearly patched with a metal plate. I will have to schedule another appointment with Andrew where is has the knowledge in fixing roof repairs. Overall did a great job.

January 2025

Andrew returned again to fix some issues at my home and once again did a magnificent job. He showed up on time and completed the tasks correctly and professionally. I had him reseal and caulk my front windows to prevent water from entering. He also fixed my back door threshold by securing it down. No need to replace the door...for now.

It was definitely worth the cost where I could not have done it my self.

Alex was my handyman. I was delighted when he showed up for my project. He mentioned that he had been a roofer...and he was a great fit for this job. His depth of knowledge regarding issues I had with my dormers was perfect. He diagnosed the problem and knew exactly how to fix it. He worked quickly, did not make a mess, and he left my home looking much better than before. Every one I dealt with has been professional, and helpful. I will confidently use your services in the future...and refer my friends.

Daniel Hagemeyer helped with a sound dampening project with my new gutters with Pro TJM foam installed perfectly. Not a scuff or paint was needed afterwards. He’s a very rare talent. Very professional, family oriented business! I’ve used them several times to hang extremely heavy mirrors, massive TVs, and a bunch of smaller items that I just wanted to make sure looked clean on the walls. I even had a pet emergency during one of their visits and had to leave the house, but luckily I felt comfortable doing so. Daniel is great to work with and has done a fantastic job putting up with the craziness in my household (lots of pets and other home services being completed in the house). Will recommend them to any of my friends and have them in mind if I ever need a handyman for my business.

I had a great experience with Ace Handyman Services. They hung wallpaper in my salon and did an excellent job from start to finish. They showed up on time, were reasonably priced, and paid close attention to every detail. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
