The crew acted cheerful and worked diligently. They labeled and documented well, showed teamwork, and aimed to be efficient. The accounting department showed extreme patience while waiting for payment coordination with insurance.

Recovering from our fire would have been hard to imagine without the help from the Servpro Team. Every person we encountered was friendly, caring and helpful. They wasted no time getting to work and took care of our belongings as we would. We know there were others behind the scenes as well and we wish them all a heartfelt thank you.

Linda was our point person and she was a blessing. She guided us through the shock, reminded us of things we needed to know or do and basically held our hands is the most critical time. She’s committed to quality outcomes and went above and beyond. Finding out the ServPro Team would not only return our cleaned items they would also unpack, and haul off the boxes and paper was like discovering Santa left you the toy you always wanted. Again, they were all a God send!!

SERV/PRO arrived right on time this morning to pack up our belongings in order to prepare my home for a floor replacement following water damage due to a stopped up drain. Over the last two days SERV/PRO had a crew of two ladies who very carefully packed our belonging to prepare for the move. The care with which those SERV/PRO employees packed our belongings was commendable. Today, SERV/PRO arrived right on time at 8:00 to finalize the packing of the very heavy items with a crew of four men. All these SERV/PRO employees were most courteous and very careful with the packing and loading of our belongings. During the final packing and loading, their Supervisor, Eric Coco, arrived. Eric was most approachable and eager to ensure that everything was done correctly and that no details were missed. In particular, there were several items that we had overlooked during the original walk through that needed to be added. One item was the kitchen island. They added that item and packed it in such a manner that it could not be damaged. Another item of concern was our dishwasher. This dishwasher was very difficult to remove from under the kitchen countertop. Eric Coco, took on that project and personally removed the dishwasher from under the kitchen
countertop, ensuring that there was no damage to the dishwasher and that there was no leakage after the dishwasher was removed. The dishwasher remained at the house so it could be reinstalled under the countertop as the new flooring was laid. Supervisor Coco was obviously in charge and his experience was evident in everything he did with regard to the pack up and move out. His on-scene appearance and his bearing gives us every confidence that our belongings will be well cared for and returned in the same condition that they were delivered. Eric Coco and the entire SERV/PRO Team that we have dealt with were most professional and we highly recommend SERV/PRO when such a need should arise.

Eric Coco and his team were phenomenal. The day that they were contacted they came to my home that night and began work to put my worries at ease. Sandra, Bety, Fany, Lety, Anthony, Sergio, George, Jamie and Bryson were all very professional when interacting with them. I recommend this team for all of your service needs. I gave them 5 stars because it is so deserving. If I could give more I would. Eric Coco and his team exceeded my expectations on customer service.

Fernando, Andrew and the rest of the team were AMAZING to work with. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the work they were doing. In stressful times and when looking at major damage to your home, you need people around like the team at Servpro. I would DEFINITELY recommend them..

If you wish to have illegal hold on your property, then be bullied and gaslit, this company is for you

During the winter storms in January 2024 the water lines burst in my garage. Within the first week I was considering transferring my business somewhere else because they had not been able to get anyone out to clear out the sopping, insulation ridden mess, in my garage. He asked me to hang tight, I had grace for a busy time, and they were able to get someone out the following week.

The group that came out was very hardworking, but not very efficient. I asked them to leave all non-salvageable items behind for insurance to look at. They ended up taking may tools and electronics that had been soaked and were no longer working. Their list of items were mislabeled, misspelled, blurry photos, without labels, and all around insufficient for what insurance needed so I had to go through all the non-salvageable items myself with gloves to get better photos. All of this I had grace for.

Then one day as my garage was being completed, my neighbor stopped by to give me a “warning”. He said Servpro is keeping a lot of customer’s property and withholding its return until they are paid by insurance and your insurance company hasn’t paid us. "I know you will want your stuff back when this garage is done but you won’t get it back unless we get paid." This at first made me frantic. Why had no one told me there were issues with payments? No one had said a word and now my stuff was at risk? I called insurance and they quickly proved that Servpro had been paid up to date.

After I calmed down and thought about what had just occurred, I became rightly angry. I am a single woman living by herself, who has worked hard for her things, and this company just bullied me. I knew I had never signed a security or collateral agreement of any kind. I wrote an email threatening litigation for the illegal hold of my goods and asked for a call first thing in the morning. Morning came and went and I heard nothing. I called the front office and she confirmed that holding property was their practice as well. I asked for my contract and asked her to point out where there was any legal right to hold collateral. She could not. I then asked her to explain why this threat was even made since my bill was not past due, she could not. She transferred me to their finance guy who said the threat was preemptive. In which again I reiterated that it shouldn’t be made at all. It is illegal to follow through on it and a bully tactic to use it in the first place. We did discover they had been emailing the wrong place within Allstate and I corrected that for them.

Although I never heard from the owner nor received an apology, they brought my things back the following week. In reviewing my items I realized that there was an item that was damaged due to being packed without any padding. Servpro assigned me to their adjuster and when I followed up to ask when I would be paid for the damaged fishing pole he again utilized the threat of until they were paid in full. I again had to threaten litigation for them practicing something that was illegal and nowhere in their contract. I also had again discovered they STILL were not emailing the correct location within Allstate. At this point the owner of the company, who had not given me any of her time before this point, stepped in and accused me of being unprofessional. This was mind-blowing after I had consistently dealt with illegal practices and inefficient communication. This time they corrected the issue in communicating with Allstate and were promptly paid the remainder of their funds. Every other company I had worked with on this had been paid weeks before them without my involvement as they followed instructions.

I am surprised at all the positive reviews on this, and probably would have left it alone had it not been for the lack of apology or self-awareness off their company-wide illegal practices. I would stay far away.

ServPro and their team went above and beyond expectations for helping us after a water leak ruined the whole first floor of our house. They helped dry the house then a team packed all of our possessions and moved them into climate controlled storage. Having grown up in the Military my expectations for moving back in was a lot of unpacking. The guys moved furniture efficiently and carefully. The ladies unpacked our boxes and had taken pictures when they packed so that they could place items exactly as they were before. Very thankful and grateful for all of them during what should have been a stressful time. Thanks to all of the team!

My home recently sustained some significant water damage. In order to save the original 1930 hardwood floors, the entire house had to be packed and sent to storage. At the time I did not realize just how big of a project this was. My parents recently used SERVPRO of Southeast Dallas County for water damage-related cleanup and highly recommended them. Linda French with SERVPRO was at my house the next day and immediately I knew she was the one for this job. Linda is one of the most punctual and organized people with a great smile and personality. When you are dealing with fire or water damage to your home, this is the kind of person you want in charge of getting your things back in order. I was told it would take a week to pack up my home, however Linda and her crew are so efficient it literally took less than 2 days. Not only did they move my things to storage, but also moved my clothes and other necessities to the Airbnb I was staying at. Linda was also a great resource in helping me with the insurance company, making sure I was fully aware of policy holder rights and obstacles to avoid. Water damage to a home, especially one built in 1930, can definitely push you to a breaking point. Linda French and her team at SERVPRO of Southeast Dallas County will help ensure that does not happen.

The workers did an amazing job! The guys loaded and unload everything super well and went the extra mile. Eric was awesome! He helped coordinated everything and even went to get batteries for our thermostat. That’s definitely going the extra mile! The girls did great with the packing and unpacking. Our property in Dallas suffered significant water damage due to freezing weather plus water heater break down. We had the unfortunate reality of a slab leak and Servpro went above and beyond to make an uncomfortable situation as comfortable as possible during their time working with us. Nathan came out almost immediately after claim was filed, explained in detail what the process would look like and what to expect in the days/weeks/months ahead of us. He introduced us to Curtis Franklin and Richard Rivas and explained the part they would play in the process. At the time I had no idea how much of a blessing these 3 guys and the Servpro move out crew would be! The care and compassion that was shown to our family by this entire staff was phenomenal and made such an impact on each of us in such an a whirlwind of unknowns and displacement. They notified of each visit prior to the visit and what to expect in that visit. They answered any and all questions about the process from their side as well as knowledge of the process outside of what they handle. They took care and concern for not only our family but our belongings. Their performance could not have been any greater! The level of respect shown to us made all the difference. They never wavered during all the emotions I displayed getting through the process and made us all just have such peace of mind. I cannot recommend them enough, I will forever be grateful and the impact they had on our family will never be forgotten!
