This company definitely provides A1 class services! Not only was it affordable but the customer service exceeded my expectations. Forest was referred to me by a family member. He has been out to service my AC on 2 occasions and he was very helpful, informative and reasonably priced. During the most recent freeze my unit was blowing cold air we could not get our temperature above 66°. We called Pleasant Run A/C & Heat and he came and fixed it in less than an hour. He was very knowledgeable and very honest about what was wrong he also was affordable. I have referred him to many people in our neighborhood these guys are really good and they don't try to get over on you. He had us up and running the same day that we called him in less than an hour. I mean usually with other companies you have to wait and schedule appointments and sometimes they require down payments. He really assisted and helped us thank you so much. I typically get stressed when things break down at home, and this time was no different. However, Pleasant Run A/C & Heat stood out from the rest with their prompt response to my call. They scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived exactly on time. The technician was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I was bracing for a major issue, but it turned out to be just a clogged pipe leading to my AC, and the cost to fix it was very reasonable. I'm thoroughly impressed with their service and will definitely rely on them again.

I have a very old unit at my barbershop.
Forrest had come out and fixed the work from the last guy that came before him.
He had informed me that the last repair wasn't done correctly. That was a few years ago, and now it's working great. Now, all I get him to do is regular maintenance.

Mr. Forrest is very thorough when he services our A/C and heating unit. He does a great job! He is very knowledgeable and explains clearly what is going on with our unit. This company never disappoints! Forrest and his team came in and replaced my down stairs AC unit, both inside and outside. They were professional and on time! They covered our carpets because they would be going in and out to do the job. After they were done Forrest went over everything they did and explained how and when to change out the filters. I will be using Forrest and his team to manage the AC unit at my office!!!!

I used them 2 years ago when the hvac capacitor went bad. The capacitor went bad after 2 years and so I called them up. I informed the tech I was pretty certain it was the capacitor. He did a QUICK inspection and confirmed. I brought it to his attention that his company replaced this very part two years ago. He told me the likely reason it went bad was because the capacitor will go bad quickly with Goodman units. Prior to calling I researched the price of a capacitor online. The pleasant run tech quoted me more than 15X that amount for the part. I felt price gauged. He looked surprised when I informed him I found the part online for a substantially lower price. It's disheartening and quite frankly telling of a company to do this to a customer who is obviously in a tough position roasting inside their 100 degree home. I declined to proceed. Unfortunately, I was required to pay the $80 for the 10 min service call, of which i received nothing. The hvac co that fixed my issue completed a thorough inspection, and I was told the capacitor went bad likely because of the dirty coil. (Pleasant Run never brought this up). The tech had not heard of the theory of Goodman units leading to bad capacitors. Needless to say I will never again use or recommend Pleasant Run.

Forrest has been very pleasant and easy to work with. He explained the issue and suggested solutions promptly; replacing one of our older units with minimal wait time. If you are looking for an HVAC company in the DFW area we recommend Pleasant Run A/C & Heat.

After seeing the great reviews this company received I called them when my ac stopped cooling the house last weekend. True to form Forrest was out in short order to add 4 pounds of Freon to the system and it was up and running good as new. Unfortunately that’s not where the story ends, a few hours later the house was heating up again so I called Forrest.

He had my check and verify that my outside unit was not running, at which point he returned, did some further checks to the compressor before informing me that my 12 year old system was junk and would need to be replaced. The unit has a history of leaking, and several different ac technicians have all tried and failed to find and fix the problem area. So I’ve had to add Freon annually when the hot weather ramps up, in fact Tuesday was almost a year to the day of the 2024 Freon top off.

On Tuesday morning I received a $10k full system replacement quote from Forrest, which prompted me to get a second opinion. The new ac tech reinstalled the breaker Forrest had removed, and the compressor kicked on Jessie then checked the Freon level and pressure which were both good, and we went into the house which was noticeable cooler with the system only operational for about 5 minutes at that point.

I don’t know if or how Forrest managed to get the system to fail after he installed the Freon into the unit, but know how he kept it from running after his return as I watched him when he removed ac breaker so that the bad compressor wouldn’t, “damage my electrical service if it to run before he could come back and replace it”. I’ve tried to reach Forrest a few times since I’ve had a day to cool off, but it still angers me how this guy had my family endure a sweltering night in discomfort so that he could cash in on a big pay day.

So I close by asking, how many of you that gave these 5 star ratings to Pleasent Run AC services, actually needed a new system rather than a new assessment from a Jessie whom I had to offer a service call payment because, “I don’t know what to charge cause I really didn’t do anything”.
