If I’m going to be honest, I know absolutely nothing about plants and trees and such like that, but my wife wanted to start a flower bed in our backyard so I came here for help. The staff here is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t know all too much. Ellen was a big help in teaching me about what flowers and plants look best with each other and where they could go in my backyard. I just followed what she said and my wife loved it.

I recently had to get a tree replaced that I purchased from Moon Valley Nursery two years ago due to a fungus that killed it. Moon Valley Nursery worked with me on replacing the dead tree at a fair price. I also purchased three Juniper Blue Spire trees that are beautiful! The foreman Eddy and his team did a superb job of removing the dead tree and planting the new trees. They were punctual, polite and professional. They also provided me with instructions for the care of my trees. I will do business again with Moon Valley Nursery.

I had such a wonderful experience at the nursery thanks to Rocio! She was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the plants and took the time to answer every question we had. She helped guide us in choosing the right ones for our space and gave us great tips on how to care for them. Her kindness, patience, and expertise made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. From selection of our Japanese Maple..to taking care of it until we moved into our new house (almost a year!) to delivery and planting has been nothing short of fabulous! When Daniel Rilea and his team came to plant tree they were professional..friendly and knowledgeable .Daniel explained in detail how to take the best care of our tree and answered our many questions! He also recommended a few trees that would compliment our backyard! I would highly recommend Moon Valley!

Wonderful experience beginning with Andrew who showed us all our replacement palm possibilities and the pros and cons of each and efficiently took our order. Then Jason (I think) and team was on time to take down our dying ancient giant canariensis, Jason being an effective bossman who even climbed to the top himself when it was feared that the crown was unstable. The tree came down without incident. Then Patrick (I think) and team came to take out the giant stump and two other stumps. And today Eddie and team put in our two new Piru King palms, not fazed at all by the utility street construction al around our corner lot. Eddie even straightened another small palm that had been knocked over by street construction. The entire process was professional, easy and friendly. We have nothing but highest kudos for them all and recommend them without reservation. Hope to have a reason to use them again!!!

Moon Valley Nursery is probably the best place you can get anything plant related. The products and staff are just PERFECT! I just got a beautiful oak tree for my front lawn. My wife is in love with it and so am I! Ellen was a big help in us finding the perfect tree and the perfect spot right in my front lawn.

Matthew and Rosie made our experience second to none! Earlier in the week, I had contacted Matt to come out and diagnose our tree. Unfortunately, she was a goner. Rosie helped us pick a replacement tree and even so easily AND helped walk me through how to get rid of that black stuff that ends up in Crape Myrtles. The team was so sweet and knowledgeable- we’ll always choose moon valley for our garden needs!

Matt was amazing to work with from the minute I walked in that nursery until I left. The customer service was 5 stars and his knowledgeable for what I was looking for was exceptional. I told him exactly what I wanted and my budget and he listened to everything that said. He helped my find the perfect tree for my front yard and I couldn’t be happier!!!

Wow! Just, wow! My wife & I were looking to add some Crape Myrtles to our back & front yards, as well as a Shumard Red Oak to the front. Our Moon Valley Nurseries consultant, Nick Minton, really knows his trees! He was amazingly knowledgeable about all Moon Valley Nurseries had to offer & all the differences between the different oaks & Crape Myrtles. His expertise confirmed our decision to go with the Shumard Red Oak & we purchased one, along with three crapes. In the interim, we discovered an old water oak we had in our backyard had died & we had to immediately have it removed. We returned to Moon Valley Nurseries, met with Nick again & purchased another Shumard Red Oak for our backyard. Yesterday, our trees were expertly planted by Eddie & his crew. They took great care in planting & securing all of the trees in their rightful spot. They also did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards. Many thanks to Nick, Eddie & crew, & Moon Valley Nurseries. You have a client for life!

Just thought I'd share my experience at Moon Valley Nursery and how much I enjoyed touring the whole place with Brian Crews and meeting everyone. Brian told me all about the different trees, plants, fruits and flowers they have there. It's such a beautiful place, and they have so much to choose from. Brian was very knowledgeable and even offered me his sun hat to wear while we were touring the grounds looking at everything-in the middle of the afternoon, when it was really hot and sunny. Such a sweet gesture from a kind gentleman. I picked out a beautiful bird bath and a little flower turquoise décor for the yard, and I absolutely love them both and so do all of the wild birds that come in my backyard every day. I will definitely be back in the future to add more things to the yard with Brian's expertise.

My husband and I were looking for a tree to replace the 70 year old oak that had to be cut down. Gene was super friendly and very helpful. We ended up buying three pretty big trees. They are super healthy looking and the price and everything that is involved in the process of planting the trees is outstanding. The staff all were so friendly and we will definitely be coming back to buy everything for our flower beds next.

Wanted a mature memorial tree as a tribute to my late wife. Elena Smith walked with me through the process of selecting the best tree for this. Her knowledge about the different species and environments in which they do well was great. I was impressed by how personally attached they are to their trees, giving them names and knowing their histories. More than "buying" a tree, I felt more like I was adopting a family member! On installation day, Eddie and his crew knew exactly what they were doing. They showed up on time and completely prepared, checking with me constantly to address any concerns. They accomplished the work surprisingly quickly, but weren't hurrying; they just work really efficiently and carefully. They cleaned up after the project quite thoroughly, and left no question unanswered. These folks are great to work with!

William and his team were great! They came promptly and did a wonderful job with the removal of our old landscaping in preparation of our new plants. The entire staff has been super friendly and helpful and was very knowledgeable when it came to what to put in our front yard!
