Complete, thorough service that included a *walk around* the entire perimeter to ensure he was aware of all potential issues. Hi! Just to let people know that I have always fertilized my own yard and had it beautiful dark green and neighbors would ask how to get their yard looking nice like mine i would give them advice and help them now true green came out and fertilized my yard with out my concent and have called them they came out one time took pictures and have not came back it was there mistake and now my grass is dead but they should come out take responsibility for there mistake and fix my lawn but if I have to go to court my neighbors they said they will go and be as witnesses on how my yard was and after true green killed it if I could give no stars I would. So the last picture I just added is before true green came out and fertilized. So its been about two weeks + and nothing yet and its been at least 1 month that they came out and did there mistake and what you know they came out again and sprayed my lawn and made a mistake again so if someone thinks I should sue them please let me know about a good lawyer

The man was very polite and professional! He informed me of his plan for my yard and what I should expect to see within his start of the treatment he will doing. He also explained what to expect from the treatment.

I requested lawn service quotes and initially contacted TruGreen, but ultimately chose another provider (Sunday Lawn Care). After informing TruGreen that I was no longer interested, I continued receiving 8–10 calls per day, even after clearly stating my decision. Despite asking them to stop, the calls continued from different phone numbers, forcing me to block them. During the final call, I explicitly warned that I would consider further contact harassment.
Two days later, at 6:30 PM—after dark, I arrived home to find the TruGreen League City area account manager standing in my yard near my front door, completely unannounced.This behavior crossed a serious line. I understand sales follow-up, but persistent calls, ignoring clear boundaries, and showing up uninvited at someone’s home is unacceptable and unprofessional. Based on this experience alone, I would never use TruGreen and strongly caution others.

2 years of service and the worst lawn on the block. Do not use this company. It looks like acid has been sprayed on my lawn. I cancelled my service immediately and no change in my lawn has been made after giving them 2 months to do so. You would think after monthly service for almost 24 months I would have a beautiful lawn.

Do NOT use True Green. I purchased a plan for the entire yard and have had two applications. Neither have addressed the original problem. They are also treating my yard for weeds which I do NOT have. Customer service doesn’t provide answers to your problems, supervisors don’t callback when they are suppose to, and senior personnel are suppose to come out to yard to assess but do Not set up a date and time. They will just call when they are on their way this week sometime. NOT acceptable.

TruGreen was the best decision I could make to have my dream lawn. My grass is so beautiful and makes my home look gorgeous and well maintained. Living in Texas, I was thoroughly explained in details the care I also had to provide to maintain my lawn between professional TruGreen visits. I highly recommend their products and professional technicians. Great team work. I love my beautiful Lawn. I can also sit outside and not have to worry about mosquitoes. Thank you TruGreen. You definitely have a loyal customer.

True green is a great choice for lawn care. Be it home or business. True Green will have your lawn covered and looking good and healthy. Give them a call, you will appreciate the results.

Do Not Use TruGreen. Here’s My Full Experience.

As a new homeowner in Houston, I was looking for a reliable landscaping and pest control company. I usually choose local businesses, but TruGreen kept showing up first in my search results. Clearly, they pay top dollar to appear at the top, but the service I received was far from premium.

I decided to give them a try despite multiple friends and family members warning me not to. They all said the same thing. TruGreen is overpriced, unreliable, and inconsistent. People mentioned that even after prepaying for services in monthly or yearly bundles, TruGreen would often claim to have completed a visit when they never came.

When I was contacted by Joseph, the Houston account manager, I shared my concerns. He promised me that his branch was different. He said they had strong numbers, and he personally gave me his word that the negative stories I had heard would not happen to me. I believed him and paid for a full year of services in advance.

I was excited when I received two notifications that pest control and lawn care would happen that week. Pest control was first. I was told I didn’t need to be home. The technician came and left a report saying he applied pest control chemicals and removed a wasps nest. That nest was untouched. One of the services I specifically confirmed with Joseph was not done.

I sent Joseph a voice memo and photos of the wasps nest still there. He apologized and said someone would return. A month passed and no one came. I followed up again. Joseph told me he would handle it and said he would speak with his district manager. I told him that because of the inconvenience, I should receive an additional service. He agreed to look into it.

Another week passed. Still no word.

I called customer service and explained the situation. They offered to send someone out for free. That is not a favor. I had already paid for the service. Being offered something that should have already been completed is not a resolution.

At that point, I asked to cancel my services. The representative did not try to keep my business or ask how they could improve. They simply processed the cancellation and told me I would get a refund. Later I learned the refund was only for future services. They kept the money for the incomplete service I complained about.

I left a review as they requested, thinking someone would follow up. Weeks have passed. No response.

If you are considering using TruGreen, please save yourself the frustration. They overpromise and underdeliver. Once I started sharing my story, I heard even more terrible experiences from people I know.

This is not how a professional company should operate. There is no accountability, no integrity, and no care for the customer.

Choose a company that values your time, your money, and your trust. TruGreen is not that company.

I did not have a good experience with Trugreen and their customer service is not very good. I was promised weed removal and good lawn service but pretty much my lawn had the results that I did doing my own lawncare. They will lie to you and promise the world to get you to sign on. Save your time and money, and go with someone else.

I now have a dead front yard. I am the only one on my block with irrigation and TruGreen service in 2025. 90% of my St Augustine front yard is dead while my neighbors have living lawns, although we are in a drought.
I’ve canceled my service and expressed my unhappiness, but no response.

The yard looks great, but
I don’t think you should ask for a review the day you treat for fire aunts. You treated this morning and at 4:00 I still have active mounds. Not sure how long it takes to work.

Brian, Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the moment he greeted me until the time I drove away he was answering every question I had. He was informative, not in a scripted way, but the way someone who knows his plants and plant care. Some places you might end up with a summer worker who doesn't know dandelions and poison ivy from hostas and pothos, not here and definitely not Brian. If you're in search of plants, trees, or shrubs stop in and check out their selection. You will not be disappointed.

Great experience end to end, from the tree selection to install. Can’t speak highly enough of Gene and Eddy. Gene with talking me through all the options and helping me pick the right tree for my yard on the front end. And Eddy and his crew were simply awesome during the planting. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Walked me through everything I needed to know to help my new tree thrive!

James (Nursery Pro) was very personable. He made sure the tree was planted straight and had me choose which side I wanted facing the street which I didn't even think about. I had a small live oak and bought this "giant" Shumard Oak from them which looks amazing! I've gotten many great compliments from neighbors. Excited to see it turn red in the fall!

The young lady Ellen helped us pick out some wonderful flowers . My wife and I decided to redo our front yard and she helped us pick out flowers that will last through the fall and into the summer saved us hundreds of dollars thank you so much, Ellen

Thank you to Brian for putting up with my shortness of knowledge in buying a tree for my yard. I now have shade in the perfect location so that my car is not as hot when left sitting baking in the Texas heat.
