I have had a great experience working with AJ at Hippie Fertilizing. AJ is passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable as seen in how he has helped restore our sickly yard without the use of poisons and chemicals. I feel good about the concept of getting the soil healthy with NO chemicals or poisons. Our grass is thick and healthy. So thankful for this service. I highly recommend Hippie Fertilizing.

AJ has been great to work with! He is personable, easy-going, and quite knowledgeable in organic lawn and garden care. He answers my many questions without hesitation. He performed the Lawn Restoration service on my front and backyard grass and the transformation after only two weeks is amazing. I’m looking forward to continued good results. He and Deborah worked so diligently in the brutal Texas heat and didn’t skimp on doing a thorough and professional job.

Using AJ Hippie Fertilizing has been a great decision! All products used are very safe and have helped my dogs allergies. The combination of special diet and fertilizer has helped my lawn dramatically in approximately one week. My lawn suffered last year from cinch bugs. The Hippie guy is very good in what he does . The results are fast and sometimes slow depends on the situation. Also he will educate you on taking care of your lawn and WILL NOT BREAK THE BANK.

AJ @ Hippie Fertilizing has turned my yard from blah to BLAM!!!!! Where it was once yellow and not growing it is now green as green can be! Thank you soo much I have been trying to get this kind of result for five years. With in 8 months my yard has undergone a 4 fold improvement!!!!

Hired AJ and his crew to do a top dress, Humates, and Hippie Juice application on my 1 acre lot. I have a lot of issues concerning the dying out of the St Augustine sod due to fungus and insects. Used chemicals to deal with it but always used MicroLife Fertilizers. After the Hippie Fertilizer crew and discontinuing the chemicals the lawn has taken off and only improves over time. I believe in the natural method a lot better than the chemical method. I will continue to top dress thru the season on my lot next door and get that into shape as well. Very pleased with the professional crew and the results from Hippie Fertilizing. I also like it that the owner of the company participated in making the work happen in a timely manner. Will hire them again in the fall to continue the progress and make it thru the winter.

We just had our third treatment and not only are the bare spots almost completely recovered, the rest of our lawn is lush and green. But the true miracle is the increase in pollinators and beneficial insects that I’m seeing all the time. Never before have I had had so many butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds visit and hang out our yard. We’ve also noticed lacewings and ladybugs returning. Before using Hippie Fertilizing, I used True Green for years. My yard had bare spots and was not taken care of properly. Since using Hippie Fertilizing, my grass has greened and stays green and healthy. Where the ball spots were, new grass is growing, and my lawn has gotten thicker and much healthier. My husband and I love Hippie Fertilizing!!! Last year, we decided to change from TruGreen, which we had been using for 10 plus years. Our lawn was not looking like it should. I wanted an organic treatment in order to protect my animals thus why we started using Hippie. After a few months, I was not seeing much progress. I stopped at Maas nursery for an unrelated issue and was talking to one of their employees. We somehow started talking about Hippie. I told her I was unsure about using Hippie. She said to give it time as when u change over from toxic fertilizing to an organic one, it takes TIME. A year later and our lawn is the best! It has never looked this healthy. My lawn was a goner. We were at the point of having everything ripped out and putting down new sod. I knew my soil wasn’t right, though. So, I called AJ. The first pic is from Oct. 2023. Most of the green you see was from weeds. Lots of bare spots. The second is from yesterday. Nothing seeded, nothing weeded. He treated the soil, and we watered. What a difference! Literally saved my front lawn. It started fading last year and by August was mostly a dirt patch. 80% of my front lawn- dirt. Thought I was going to have to re-sod the entire yard. AJ started working his magic and the recovery has been quick and looks great.

I can’t recommend AJ enough. I did quite an extensive research on someone who could come and help me level my lawn.
