My oven, after self cleaning cicle, stopped working. We called Patriot Appliance Friday afternoon and Saturday it was fixed. Paul came and fixed it really fast, explained to us what had happened and why, and how to prevent it from happening again. He was really nice.

Wonderful experience with Paul! Came out to inspect our AC within two days of contacting him (Paul could've came out even earlier had our schedule allowed it) and then came back the very next day, a weekend, to repair our AC just before the weather got super hot. Quick and efficient when doing repairs, knew exactly what the problems was, finished the repair in no time. Absolutely recommend to everyone.

Amazing service. Paul (the owner) came out late at night for emergency work without charging an extra fee. He was there within a couple of hours of calling when others wouldn't come out until Monday. It was Saturday night. He is incredibly professional, incredibly fast, and full of incredible stories. This was the best contractor experience I've ever had. I could not be happier with the service and I will never go to anyone else for this work.

My AC unit was not cooling on Saturday evening, contacted every so-called 24/7 AC companies in Austin , no one was available until I reached Patriot AC repair. The owner Paul was very efficient in communicating, I just sent a simple text message of my contact, he showed up at my door within 2 hours just as he promised. He was very knowledgeable and explained the problem and options well ( big plus if you don’t like to pay without choices). He got my AC back fully functional in 30 minutes. Thanks Paul for making our otherwise very stressful weekend smooth and enjoyable instead!

We’ve had Paul come out twice for us, one was an after hours emergency call. He takes the time to explain the issue and the best fix for it. He’s offered peace of mind regarding our unit when another company gave us a costly estimate to fix things.

I was getting ready for a long vacation when I heard a noise from my HVAC unit in the attic. I went to the Patriot web site when my A/C guy was 90 minutes late and didn't respond to my text. Paul was able to get to me quickly and investigated the noise. "I've never heard anything like that", something you don't want to hear from your repairman. Turns out an access panel gasket was loose, allowing metal on metal vibration. He moved the gasket into place and no more noise. I appreciated how quickly he arrived and diagnosed the problem, having me from worrying there might be something major wrong with my A/C unit.

Paul w/Patriot first visited my S Austin home in 2023 for a check of my ACs. He communicated his ETA and was on time. My ACs were ok and Paul wouldn’t take a dime.

Fast forward 2 years. My downstairs AC was struggling to keep up. I contacted Paul late on a Sunday night; he responded in minutes and was on site the next afternoon. Like my first experience, he communicated his ETA and kept me updated as his ETA changed. Paul added freon and restored comfort to our home in minutes. He informed me that our systems use an older type of freon, and parts will be scarce in the future.

I’m a 30 year field service professional (managed 70% of the Covid testing in 4 states) and wish I had techs like Paul on my team. He is predictable, has excellent communication skills, sets clear expectations, and exceeds them. I won’t go anywhere else for my HVAC needs.

We returned from vacation to find our HVAC system wasn’t working. Paul came out on a Sunday, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time. We really appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism—especially on a weekend!

It was 100 degrees when my AC died and Paul was there that afternoon to go over my options. Although I needed a new system, they installed the system the next day. Special care was taken with my property, the install was flawless and within 20 minutes of completion I could feel relief in my house. I would recommend Patriot to anyone and am blessed to have had the company referred to me. Fair and reasonable prices, prompt service, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and a life saver.

Paul came out on a Sunday afternoon to diagnose the issue with our built in fridge and side by side freezer. He came the next day with the correct part and had our fridge working again right before Christmas. Paul is great about explaining the pricing options and showed up exactly when he said he would. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Patriot for your AC needs. Paul was great! The thermostat went out in my hm and I reached out for service. He assessed my problem that evening and developed a plan to get me back up and running. He was very responsive and explained everything step by step. I ended up letting him replace my 11 year old unit and am very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship displayed while at my hm. Paul was amazing. He came out and immediately diagnosed that the problem with our washer wasn’t even worth fixing. He totally could’ve charged us several hundred dollars and THEN told us that, but he didn’t. He is full of integrity. Afterwards, he even helped me pick out our next washer. All for absolutely zero dollars. We need more business people who actually care about their customers. He has won my business!

Our LG washing machine stopped working. I suspected the water pump was out and after Paul stopped by to diagnose it was confirmed.

Paul returned the following day and replaced the water pump and the machine is working as new again.

I recently had an exceptional experience with Patriot Appliance & Air Conditioning Repair Service. Paul arrived within an hour of my request, and despite the scorching over 100F heat outside, he did his best to get my AC running again. My unit is older, but Paul was able to figure out a custom solution for it and consulted me on all my options. I was impressed with the great, fast, and reliable service provided during such a difficult time. Highly recommend!

At the end of Summer, our AC was acting up, rising to 80 degrees every night, though set to 76. I searched for someone with good reviews, and Patriot was the first to come up. He came out, reset our system, and all seemed well. Until that night it was back up to 81/82. A few days later the entire system failed and he came and told us he could fix it temporarily for $3,500, or replace the entire system for nearly $11,000. We opted for the $3,500 to give us time to save up for the bigger fix, and he texted that would give us a one year warranty of functionality.
It continued to work during the day, and get back up between 80-85 each night in our home. We repeatedly told Paul our issues and he would come and “fix” it. After 8 or more visits in three weeks each where he did something to fix the problem, he finally told us we’d need to pay another $800 for two new thermostats. We knew at this point it was another guess, and we weren’t willing to pay that out to just guess.

We found a different wonderful company who came and diagnosed the real issue within an hour. He fixed the real issue for free, but agreed the system would need to eventually be replaced. This new company quoted us $9,500 for the entire replacement, only days after Paul’s last price quote of nearly $11,000. However the parts from Patriot we paid $3,500 for less than a month before? Absolutely no good to us, and ended up being scrapped. Paul was unable to buy them back or reuse them.

Overall, Paul may be an okay enough guy, but it was a complete waste of our money and his time.
