All reviews for Box Tree Care

We are newer to Texas so it was a pleasant surprise to deal with such an upfront and honest
business like Box Tree Care! The owner, Josh, came out on short notice and addressed our tree root problems with quick and affordable solutions!
He was easy to work with and true to his word.

I was referred to Box Tree Care because my front trees needed a decent trim. Scheduling was easy and convenient. When Josh came out to look at the trees, he was knowledgeable and provided a detailed plan for how to trim the tree and how to keep them healthy. Pricing was clear and reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.

Great service at competitive price. They were able to remove my hazardous tree immediately. It was quick and looked great afterwards. The additional landscape work was great too.

We are using Box Tree Care for our yearly maintenance on our gigantic pecan and elm tree and a few other trees on our property. Josh and his team are fantastic. They have gone above and beyond to get the job done at a fair price and we are excited to continue working with them for our future landscaping jobs.

Box Tree Care had excellent communications with us throughout. Owner kept in touch and, once the contract was signed, the trimming we requested was completed in less than 48 hours. Highly efficient.

Very satisfied, would definitely use them again. Josh and his team were very thorough, efficient, and very fair on pricing. They did a great job of clean up as well

Josh and his crew were prompt, professional, and delivered as promised. They took down my big, scary, dead tree without any damage and did a fantastic job cleaning up. Box Tree Care gave me a very competitive price and delivered superior value. I will definitely have them back out in a few months to treat my ailing oaks.

Love working with Box Tree Care. They have done work for me personally and for clients that I work with. Can’t go wrong with Box!

Wow, an honest fair priced tree service in Austin that is a certified arborist… hard to believe, right…. Josh, the owner and an Austin native was on site and very knowledgeable, especially regarding the oak wilt epidemic that Austin has. Best of all the estimate was exactly what he quoted.
Cleared the dead twigs out and throughly cleaned the property before leaving. Very pleased…. I will use them again..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Josh came to our home, surveyed our needs and gave us a quote. He also made us aware of an annual maintenance fee that did what we needed and much more, for a lesser fee.
When his crew arrived, they got to work, accomplished all of our goals and more. When they left, the yard was clear of any twigs, limbs, leaves, etc. and the 3 trees and our Crepe Mrytle looked great! We greatly appreciate Josh and his company.

We recently had Josh and his crew do major tree work at our home. Josh spent time with us going over the property and making recommendations, while listening to our concerns and answering questions. We had in excess of 15 large trees, due to disease or being undesirable, or damaged from the ice storm, completely removed and had the canopy of the many stands of trees raised over 10'. Josh was diligent in working within our budget. He communicated daily regarding the work. The Box Tree Care crew were pleasant to work with. Very respectful, professional and courteous. They cleaned the yard and removed all the debris daily. Josh walked the property with us to ensure that we were happy with the work. We would highly recommend Josh and his crew, and we will definitely use him in the future.

I was very pleased with the work that Josh, Daymon and the rest of their crew did in removing 8 trees from my backyard. They were timely, professional, fast and remove the all the trees and debris after they finish cutting them down. I would recommend them 1000%. They will work with you to give you what you need in a service like theirs.

My oak tree was trimmed and all bushes were perfectly shaped. I also had a dead tree cut down and shredded...a great, on time and friendly crew handled my needs. Josh is the best. I will definitely be calling him again.

UPDATE...2/9/2026

Again, Josh and his crew did a wonderful job trimming my tree and bushes.... His team also spread mulch for me and cleaned
the area. I will use his company again and again. Thanks for your attention to detail.

Box Tree Care goes above and beyond with their service. We are signed up for their maintenance plan. They started with great job with trimming our trees near the home which had limbs hanging over the roof, pruning more trees around the house and removing a Chinaberry tree from the backyard. A week later on a return visit, the crew cleaned up the berries from the yard, no questions asked. Josh is great at following up and checking to make sure we are pleased with their work. We look forward to continue working with Box Tree Care and highly recommend them to all homeowners in the Austin area!

Josh and co are top notch. Hard working crew that did an excellent job on my lot. 0.7 acre lot with over 30 live oaks and a few elms. They ensured my roofline was protected and raised the canopy beautifully. Carefully cleaned up as well. They care about the health of the tree and the safety of your home. Also offer a host of services to improve tree health. Highly recommend.

So impressed with Joshua Box Tree Care. Josh’s consultation was informative about every tree, their lives, above and below ground, necessary and unnecessary work, future care after his team comes in, pricing and price plans to work in ranges to curated budgets and specific price points. The crew that followed met the expectations of what was discussed. The work was immediate, precise and more. My trees are singing! I’m singing. I have logged them in my phone with 4 stars. So in love- with a tree service!

Box Tree Care did a great job. They took down 2 huge (35 to 40 foot), dead pecan trees in my no access back yard. Great guys, pleased with their work and they did a great job cleaning up when they were done. They are priced right, beat out all of the other bids I got by a lot! Highly recommend this company.

Box Tree Care did a good job of trimming the tree overhanging our house to keep our insurance company happy. They are very responsive & competitively priced. I would recommend anyone with tree work to give them a call & get a quote at the very least.

Josh and team did an outstanding job for me. They cleared a large area along the road and removed several trees in my yard. We miscommunicated on one aspect of the job, but Josh was eager to adjust and get the job done. !00% happy with his and his team’s work.

Joshua really knows his trees. He was able to quickly diagnose the issues and help us prevent future problems. His pricing is fair, and we trust him for all of our tree needs. His team was prompt, professional, and handled the trimming quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Josh came out to observe the job and offered a fair, competitive estimate. Had a large crew with chipper out within three days to handle 4 residential trees. Job finished quicker than expected yet met all expectations. Would definitely hire again.
