I wished we had used Texas Best Solar to design & install our system. We have had numerous issues with our system, & became so frustrated with the initial company that we finally reached out to Texas Best Solar. Spencer and his entire team have been an absolute delight to work with. It’s never easy to come behind & figure out what another company did wrong. After several visits & extreme patience on their part, we are finally up & operating. I want to thank Spencer, Ricky, Debbie & the entire team. I would highly recommend TBS!

I met with 5 different solar companies, when we were looking to add solar power to our ranch. Spencer with Texas Best Solar was the most knowledgeable about the solar products we had previously read about, as well as very honest about what we needed, to accomplish our solar goals. They began our project the date they said they would begin as well as used quality products, as promised. We are beyond pleased with the team at Texas Best Solar for their outstanding work ethic, friendliness, honesty, their recommended solar products and our fabulous completed solar project they put together for us!

Spencer and team installed REC panels and 1 Tesla Powerwall in early September of 2024. They were very knowledgeable. Their price was at least 10k less than quotes received from some of the larger companies. I am very happy with my choice. My last two electric bills have been $3.45 and -.12 cents using a free nights electric plan.

I had my solar installation completed a month ago from Texas best solar and I can see why they got the name. Spencer went over all the different insulation options with myself and was able to break the options down and a way that a solar newbie like myself was able to understand. After talking with Spencer, I was confident that I was getting the best possible installation for my lifestyle and Electric usage.

Spencer and his team were able to install all of the solar panels and the two Tesla electric power wall batteries on my three story townhome and a busy area of Dallas in two days. Now I am looking forward to reaping the benefits from the energy buybacks As well as the $400 a year credit from Tesla per power wall battery. Five out of five stars, would recommend to everyone I know.

Texas Best Solar checked both of these boxes. During my initial meeting with Spencer, I knew I wanted to use Texas Best Solar for my 12K install and backup battery. Spencer's overall knowledge of solar and how to install a clean and efficient system was obvious compared to the several other companies I had interviewed. I appreciate the "what to expect" timeline and the communication from both Spencer and Debbie. Both Spencer and Richard checked in during the installation and spent a considerable amount of time making sure things went smoothly. All of the other team members/ installers were also very courteous and respectful. My system was fully operational and passed the final inspection with 7-8 weeks after signing my contract. I had such wonderful experience with Texas Best Solar. Most of my contact with TBS was through Spencer. He is an incredible resource, extremely professional, always ready to help and very practical.
I was involved in a "Solar Project" myself thirty some years ago when I was a college student. I had enough knowledge to do my homework picking up a company to install 8+ KWH on the roof of my house. I was expecting and did experience some sort of sales push or gimmick with few of the five companies that I contacted but not with TBS, Spencer was very frank and presented his proposal and plan as I was wishing for, directly to the point and down to the dollars and dates.
Spencer handled all the tasks in the process including two of the traditionally painful tasks, permit from the city and approval from HOA.
Installation also went as it was promised, 6 facing east and 20 facing south, nicely spread on the roof. Inspection run to a couple of issues but based on what I have heard, it was not unusual in city of Plano. A couple of days ago, less than a month, I reached the goal of 1 MWH of production. Now I am looking for a way to use TBS solar for a couple of more projects for my rental homes.
HIGHLY recommended.

Texas Best Solar installed a 12kw system. The project went as planned without any issues. They worked with the City permit office and electric company to get the meter switched. Spencer, the owner, is fantastic. He has the patience of Job. This serves him well.I had so many questions with the equipment, panels, the nuts and bolts of the system. Spencer was there answering all questions without issue.
I recommend this company and the team. Great value, great customer service, and great commitment to the customer. Any customer on the fence, talk to me. I vetted these guys and talked to a basket full of companies before making the decision to go with Texas Best Solar. Don’t regret it. God Bless you Spencer and Filipe. Be safe.

Spencer and his entire team at Texas Best Solar truly live up to the name of the company. I would truly rate them as the best! After Spencer came out to evaluate my property and design a system that would meet what I was hoping to achieve, I had a quote and information on potential options immediately. There was no pressure and Spencer responded to all the questions that I had right away. His team, from those in the office to the wonderful crew that endured the 105 degree temperature up on my roof were top notch. From dealing with my HOA, the city and the utility company, to everything in between I don't think it could have been done better. I highly recommend Texas Best Solar.

I worked with Spencer on our solar. He listened to my needs/requirements, and came up with a very good design that met them. Spencer was very honest about time frames. His team was in constant communication with me, and at no point was a question not answered quickly. The installation team was professional, polite, efficient and friendly. All in all, this whole deal was made simple.

We recently contracted with Texas Best Solar to install several Mission panels along with Tesla inverters and two Powerwall 3s. If you’re in Northeast Texas and you’re tired of the electric company playing games with your wallet, call Texas Best Solar. Spencer Grimes — the owner, a veteran, and apparently part solar wizard helped me design a full off-grid setup that now runs my entire house like it’s a spaceship.

We’re talking 34 solar panels, an EG4 12KPV inverter, and two EG4 Wall Pro batteries. The system is so dialed-in I half expect NASA to ask me for advice.

Spencer walked me through everything, gave me zero BS, and actually knew what he was talking about (rare these days). And his office comes with two extremely professional dogs who inspected me upon arrival and clearly approved of my project. That alone should tell you you’re in good hands.

When one of my batteries started having a BMS issue, Spencer didn’t ghost me like your average contractor. Nope, he got on the phone with EG4 personally and helped troubleshoot until we figured it out. That kind of follow-up is worth its weight in lithium.

Long story short:
If you want a solar company that’s knowledgeable, veteran-operated, dog-friendly, and willing to go to bat for you when something acts up, Texas Best Solar is the only answer. Everyone else is playing checkers, these guys are playing 4D chess with sunlight.

We were not educated on solar and ended up filling out a online quote website. Well, that got us about 15 different solar companies that just brought about more confusion. At that point I got online and decided I wanted to find a real company based in the Dallas area not some subcontractor calling me from Michigan. Texas Best Solar jumped out at me and so I called. Spencer was great to work with and made me happy I called. He gave the honest pros and cons of the types of equipment and installation and was able to work up a quote. We pondered the idea of going forward, with the project, and on more then 1 occasion I called back and had further discussions with Spencer and truly felt like he was being an honest straight shooter. We made our choice with Texas Best and couldn't be happier. GREAT PEOPLE! GREAT WORK! fair price and no gimmicks. Wouldn't recommend anyone other than Texas Best Solar! At the time I'm leaving this review, Texas Best has 150 5-star reviews and I couldn't be less surprised. This is easily a 5-star+ business! The customer service, communication, product quality and integrity are unmatched. Thanks so much, Spencer and team! We are obsessed with our solar panels. We did a lot of research comparing the generator option to solar panels and are so pleased with our choice - both to do the solar panels, and to use Texas Best. Highly recommend!

Hancock Electric Company is trusted for their skilled work and commitment to customer satisfaction!

The electricians at Hancock Electric Company did an amazing job changing my light fixture and making sure it was the height I wanted. I will definitely be calling them again for future electrical needs.

This is NOT a local electrical company. This is a nation-wide referral service that charges you a fee, and then dispatches an independent contractor to your house (if you're lucky), who will charge you a separate fee for the actual service. This company charges an annual "membership" fee of $149, and say they'll give you a voucher of $50 to use with the contractor, plus a 10% discount.

I was originally pleasantly surprised when I called them and they said they could have someone at my house within an hour or 2. Unsurprisingly, no one showed up during the window they had quoted (2pm-5pm.) Then I wised up and did some research based on the company name that showed on my caller ID, and discovered that this company is actually "Premium Home Service" and all it takes is a few minutes on Google to learn that it is largely a scam.

I called this morning to cancel service and request a refund. They hung up on me, and likely blocked my number, as subsequent calls have gone unanswered. I'll have to dispute the charge with my credit card and find a REAL local electrician.

With these gentlemen, I had the most incredible time. The electrician was prompt to dispatch employees to my residence and do the task. Hancock Electric Company was quite pleasant to work with and patiently explained everything. They worked rapidly to resolve the situation. After experiencing yet more difficulties, he was gracious enough to send someone back to double-check everything, allowing us to finally have electricity after four days. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. You did an excellent job!

I needed quote for electric service and I scheduled it based around a time that would work for me and set up my schedule to prepare for the window, like most people do.
My window passed and I heard absolutely nothing from Hancock. I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes before the electrician would show up.
Five minutes passed my window I had to call Hancock just to find out that the electrician would not be making an appearance and I would have to choose another three hour slot to have any sort of service.
After asking if there was any way to get a more specific time or have any sort of help with the fact that three hours of my day had been wasted, three hours that I could have been working during, I was told that three hours was the standard. Again, I had already waited during one three hour window.

After realizing that they didn't care about my time I chose to take my business elsewhere and I will not be recommending Hancock Electric Company to anyone else.
