Constraction reviews in Lucas, Texas

Juan and his team are amazing. They did a great job remodeling our entire home in a timely manner and on budget. We referred him to several of our neighbors and friends and they rave about his professionalism and the quality of his work. Would definitely use him again.

We have used JLM Contractors for years and have always been completely satisfied. As a repeat customer, we know that Juan and his team will get the job done with incredible blessing results.

This most recent job we were desiring a built in unit for the great room to match the adjoining Kitchen which JLM completely remodeled a few years ago. The outcome has changed the room from great to grand. Outstanding work and his team is so professional and polite. Thank you.

Start to finish, a great experience. Remodeling your home is both exciting and nerve racking. Juan and his team made the process as good as it could be. From project management, to communications, to minors details and changes, Juan was strait forward and easy to work with throughout. The finish product is beyond my expectations.
Would 110% recommend JLM to anyone who wants high quality guaranteed!

I have used Juan of JLM twice. Once for wood floors in a new house, and they were beautiful. And again for remodeling in an older home. They removed marble tile and carpet and put down beautiful hardwoods, working on the stain color until it was just right. They painted multiple rooms, remodeled a closet, added an outside door, added an interior pocket door, remodeled the lights in the kitchen, added new interior lights, did some carpentry work, a lot of drywall work, and fixed a roof leak. Throughout the entire project, about 4 months, Juan was excellent with communication and worked with my family on scheduling. He was upfront about costs and reasonably priced. His trusted workers arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of the day, are polite and considerate, and do excellent work. I recommend him highly and will have him back to do more work when my budget allows. Hiring a contractor can be stressful. Juan makes it an easy decision and understands that communication and timeliness are just as important as the quality of the work.

JLM did a fantastic job on our bathroom/closet remodel. In particular the quality of work was excellent and the timeline estimate was very close. JLM was collaborative and discussed issues as they came up as we adjusted plans to accommodate surprises (like a foundation tension cable where we wanted to put a drain). The punch list was extremely small with only a touch up here and an adjustment there. I also want to call out the dust management and cleanup. Projects of this nature always involve a lot of dust and JLM did a great job of keeping it contained and did further clean up after the work was completed. I'm one of those people that don't post reviews unless the work seemed to really stand out and this is one of those instances.

JLM is a family owned contracting business and we highly recommend them. Our project involved a gut-job on our two second story guest bathrooms. It included all new floor tile and bathtub and shower tile. New quartz countertops and new shower and tub glass enclosures. They replaced a bedroom door and installed a space saving pocket door. They did an excellent job of prepping the site prior to work starting. Everything was very well protected during the entire project. They painted all the upstairs wood trim, walls and ceilings in the bathrooms, the hallway, bedrooms,. They also painted the stairway and lower the level front entry. Their paint crew was amazing! Juan, the owner, did everything to please. He communicated with us regularly and checked on the project status. He listened to what we wanted and they did it all. His sons are all involved in the business and they all are very skilled. Site cleanliness and attention to detail was practiced throughout the project. Every one of his subcontractors were respectful and skilled. They did an awesome job and we are very pleased.

Was able to custom build cabinets when other companies could not do it. Honest, hard working, and did exactly what I wanted.
Very Happy!!

We have used Juan for two major renovations. Seven years ago we totally reconfigured a large master bath. Juan designed a beautiful bathroom with warm floors, new cabinets, and an extra large walk in shower. More recently, we put in a new kitchen which turned out perfectly in every way. Juan's communication skills, through emails, text, and calls always let us know what to expect for the week. His team is skilled in their field, and I never worried about any of them being in my home. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. His pricing is fair and he keeps to his word. He is a professional and very good to work with.

JLM is an awesome company. As an interior designer, I need to refer clients to a company who can convert my designs into a beautiful reality.

Juan and his team can do it all. They provide guidance and service across all trades and make large or small home updates happen easily. They provide good communication and customer service throughout the process. The end result is always beautiful and my clients are so very pleased. I have also used their services for my personal home.

I will continue to recommend them for large and small projects, knowing the outcome will be excellent.

As an architect, I know that it's important to recognize that contractors and tradesmen are as critical to the success of a project as the quality of the design is; without both, the end result will be compromised. It was therefore such a pleasure to work with the JLM team on our exterior renovation project. Excellent communication, very well done schedule management, and high quality work execution. You really can't ask for more than that. Juan and his team made what can be a difficult and stressful process very easy and pleasurable.

Juan and his team are the best. The work and end result are better than you even expect. They are not finished until you are satisfied and they are as well. The attention to detail is amazing. Juan’s communication is what makes it all work, letting us know who is coming, what work will be done, and what is happening next. He also stuck to a very tight timeline from us! We would use him and his crew every time.

Juan and his guys were great to work with. We highly recommend them. JLM helped us with a kitchen remodel, fireplace remodel, and flooring replacement project. Juan is very responsive and makes sure the project keeps moving. He isn’t one of those start a project then disappear to finish a previous project kind of outfits. He is reasonable about change orders and works with you to get exactly what you want. We have used four different contractors on house remodel projects and he is the first one I have recommended to others. Will definitely use JLM again.

We loved working with Juan and his highly skilled team! He's an honest, dependable guy and took great care of us. Master bathroom turned out great - Looking forward to working with JLM contractors on future projects!

Juan and his team are superb! Never have had a contractor this efficient. He did more than we expected and highly recommend him.

This is the 3rd time we have used JLM and as always, the amount of professionalism, attention to detail and quality work were second to none. Juan is a great listener when it comes to our design ideas and has great input to add. JLM has officially remodeled the whole first floor of our house and we tell everyone who walks through our door about the great work that Juan and his crew did. We most recently had our Master Bathroom redone and it could not have turned out better. It was such an eye sore before and now we want to show everyone who walks through our doors. His crew is great and his sub-contractors as well. Everyone cleans up meticulously and is so pleasant to have around. They did such a great job and we will use them again in the future!

JLM Contractors were great to work with. They kept the work site clean. Juan was masterful with scheduling the subs so there was minimal wait time. He was very easy to communicate with. He listened to us and we listened to his advice and expertise. We would highly recommend him to anybody.

JLM should be your first choice in home remodeling. This is the third project that we have trusted them with. They ALWAYS exceed our expectations. Professional to the hilt and as a refreshing bonus, Juan personally walks the job and creates a final punch list before you do. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. Attached is a photo of the door they cut into the brick, replacing a door with the window. Can’t tell the house was not built that way. We call them first no matter what the project is.

Juan and his team are awesome! Extremely detail oriented and responsive to making sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. I appreciated his design insights. This was a big project, total tear out of the old master bath, moving the shower and tub locations and adding extra storage. I absolutely love our new master bath and will hire JLM to remodel our kitchen as the next big project. We hired JLM after interviewing and getting bids from eight other contractors and I am so glad we picked them!

How can we write a review that will be glowing enough to describe our experiences with JLM? Juan has been our one and only contractor across 2 homes and spanning 16 years! We would never have another team in our home, so we are excited that Juan's sons will carry on the TEAM tradition of JLM.
Work is top-notch and Juan is just the right blend of perfectionist and pragmatist! We are always awed by his eye for detail and style. He has redone walls, installed doors, painted, patched and fixed a variety of ills in our homes. the team has remodeled our kitchens...twice, completed outdoor painting and staining projects, created cabinets from ideas just in my head... installed trims, and will soon be embarking on our master bathroom.
And....this is important....if ANYTHING comes up that we don't like, or is not to Juan's satisfaction, it is taken care of with no issues nor delays!
Our favorite running joke is when we say "and then we will be done!" Juan just smiles, knowing that he will return again and again to make our home dreams come true!
This business has grown and expanded, and through it all - they have been there for our projects: small and large.
JLM is not just a business to us. They are part of our family and we are blessed to have them at the ready!

I have had the pleasure of working with Juan and his team for years. He's worked on our house and rentals we owned. Juan is a partner and not just a contractor. Always talking through the job and offering insight and recommendations based on the type of work. 100% recommendation. Outstanding quality and fair pricing.

Juan and his team did an outstanding job on our outdoor living area. Our project involved remodel, framing, woodwork, electrical, plumbing and stone and marble work. Each of Juan's teams did a great job for us. And, we're extremely pleased with the results; first class quality.
