We have been working the last few months with Archer to rethink and implement refreshed landscaping for our back yard, pool area, and eventually front of house landscaping. They have been incredibly helpful and accommodating to ensure we end up with what we want and within our budget. They even were happy to accommodate holding off on the execution until we are out of this drought wave to ensure the highest chance of success. That was very important to us and they were happy to accommodate without any fuss. We can't wait until the fall to see the work completed and enjoy our new back yard.

We bought a house and had Archer services do all the landscaping: front and back. They did an amazing job!!! We enjoyed working with Michael. He was always hearing our comments and suggestions and making the perfect choices. We are enjoying so much our garden. We even have lights at night!
After they finished the job they are still in contact. They come to show us how to use the sprinkler system and checking all the plants are ok.

We just recently had Archer Services modify our backyard to improve water drainage and aesthetics. While the final product looks good. The process to get to the end was terrible. They are terrible at communication (email only), do not pay attention to the details and do not deliver on the quality they promise. However, they will tell you multiple times they are "doing their best". Well their "best" is not worth the $40,000 I spent with them. They scheduled the work during the only week in June we asked them to avoid. They said the job would take 5 days. It took 11 days. The project manager showed up at our house and never once introduced himself or asked when we would like to walk through the job. We had to go outside to find him and request a walk through of the job before his crew started. They installed an arbor and swing we purchased but failed to look at the dimensions of the swing before installing the Arbor which required them to have to move the Arbor. They then tried to tell me they did me a favor in moving the Arbor. They also told me to order the wrong length of rope for the swing so now we need a step ladder to get onto the swing. At the end of the job we wrote them an email noting items they hung us out to dry on and they didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my email or call me to discuss it. I would not use them again.

This is not a service review this is a driving review . Today unfortunately your driver tailgated my new luxury vehicle he was so close if I slowed down for any reason he would have hit my family vehicle. Driving tip it’s just not safe to drive this way . It’s Texas and it just sooo unsafe .

Archer was selected for a large project that completely re-designed our existing backyard and pool landscaping. I was looking for a professional landscaping company that could execute this multi-month project on time, on budget and with high quality.
The Archer teams always arrived on time in the morning and worked long hours each day. The project Manager (Ryan) was on site at the beginning and end of every day, overseeing the day's work. There was a lot of coordination needed with the pool remodel contractor which was handled well.
Like any large project with multiple contractors, there were times when we had to sort things out and I was very pleased with Archer's commitment to high-quality work and their scope of responsibility. They have consistently addressed post-project work without dispute, standing up to their commitment to high-quality, warranted work.
I have referred them to friends several times already and they have earned all of my yard service work.

Clint with Archer Services came out to repair a sprinkler system. He was there on schedule and on time and quickly diagnosed the problems and made the repairs. This included a new three station controller module. I was pleased with Clint’s professionalism and skills. I will call on Archer Services and Clint DeMuro again.

I am very pleased with Archer Landscape Services. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and explained the work that needed to be done in a very clear manner. There were no unpleasant surprises, the honored the quote for the work and followed up on some grading issues weeks after they had been paid in full! That shows a high level of professionalism and doing what they said they would do. I highly recommend Archer to anyone considering a landscaping project - large or small.

I so highly recommend Clint DeMuro, his team providing sprinkler repair/drainage/maintenance, and Archer Services for their excellent service. The entire team is professional, personable and truly cares that the work is done right. Call them!

Extremely professional! The workers were experienced, and cleaned up after work every day, even sweeping the driveway. The finished job exceeded expectations. Even our neighbors were impressed and asked who we used.

It turns out that, over the winter, our sprinkler system went kaput. Archer, and in particular Clint, responded promptly, diagnosed the issues and got the sprinkler system working like new and all for a reasonable price. It is clear Clint knows his stuff and he and the crew solved quite a few problems very efficiently. Couldn’t be happier!

I’ve hired Clint for years now and he’s always been an amazing guy. I can’t speak highly enough of his professionalism.

Archer did a phenomenal job on installing a retaining wall, sprinklers, and sod at our home. The sod they installed is the most beautiful sod we have seen. We did have a few things that needed to be tweaked after our project was finished but they stuck around and came out to help us get it right. We are forever in their debt and will recommend to everyone! Thank you so much Paul, Michael, and Aaron and your amazing 5 member team that came here every day for a couple of weeks. :)

Archer planted a 10’ Sabal Palm near our pool….along 3 beautiful Sabals they planted 5 yrs ago. They were efficient & took great care in minimizing damage to existing landscaping which is appreciated! We will definitely use them again!

Clint and his crew did a great job on my annual irrigation system tune up. Clint has excellent experience. He is professional, courteous & gives thorough answers with reasonable recommendations.

If you want a high quality landscape design by landscape architects and a team that can execute the design without any hassles, I would strongly recommend that you consider Archer Services.

We bought a new home with builder grade (really bad) landscaping in 2024, and decided that we wanted to take out everything (trees, shrubs, lawn) and start over including adding a swing arbor, pavers, vegetable beds, screening shrubs, new large trees, and multiple trellises. We have moved into 7 different houses over the years and improved each home’s landscaping ourselves. This time we wanted someone else to do the work and were fortunate to find Archer Services. We were 100% satisfied with every part of the design and installation process. Michael listened to what we wanted in both visual appeal and functionality, and developed a design; Aaron put it together visually with a 3D design and answered all our detailed questions; Alex helped us get the design approved through a very challenging HOA process; and Ryan led his superb crew to execute the design while keeping us informed on progress and any issues. The finished product looks exactly like the design that Michael and Aaron originally presented to us.

We recently used Archer Services to upgrade our 30 year old sprinkler system. This is the first time we have used Archer Services and I have to say they are one of the best landscaping companies we have ever used. Clint DeMuro and his team showed up early and got right to work. When they finished all the landscaping was put back in place and the sprinkler system worked perfectly. Clint DeMuro and his team did an excellent job. We will definitely be using Archer Services for future landscaping/sprinkler work. If you are looking for a professional landscaping company look no further than Archer Services.

Well, Archer Services’ awesomeness continues! After the wonderful renovation of our front landscape that they completed last year, we decided to continue with their full-service maintenance plan and have been extremely pleased with the job Brandon has done to contribute to the overall health and look of front yard.

However, after an ice storm and extended freeze this past February (unprecedented for Houston), we were unhappy with the two plants that were the focal points of our front entryway.

So, I reached out to Stacey (who has become like family now) and told her that we really wanted to replace those plants with something majestic, but not overwhelming, already at least 6 feet tall, and of course, it had to be able to withstand a “normal” Houston freeze!

Right away, Stacey gave us several pictures of plants/trees to consider but because of the number of residential and commercial properties in the Houston area that lost plants/trees during our unprecedented February ice storm, she found it extremely difficult to find any one the plants/trees we liked (let alone two of them). But due to Stacey’s tenacity, perseverance, and being just plain great at her job, after 6 months of searching and staying in contact with us, she found exactly what we were looking for at one of Archer’s suppliers.

Three days later, Archer’s crew planted these beautiful 8' tall spiral Japanese Blueberry trees! But wait, later that afternoon, Brayden came by to check on the installation of the trees and to connect a special soaker hose-like device to our existing sprinkler system so that we can control the amount of water the root systems of our trees get, independent of the other landscape plants in the same zone. Brayden was just as patient, courteous, and professional as EVERYONE else we’ve dealt with at Archer as he also explained to us how to care for these magnificent trees.

What more can I say… we love Archer Services!

What an awesome experience! I can’t say enough about everyone at Archer Services and the exemplary job they did for me and my wife. Lisa and Stacey in the office were the most courteous and professional customer service providers I’ve dealt with in a long time.

When Chris came out for our initial consultation, he too was most courteous and professional but most of all, he listened very attentively to what we wanted done relative to the redesign of our landscaping; we were quite specific about basically maintaining the overall look we had, as we were pleased with the current design, but many of the existing plants were the original plants when we bought our home almost 20 years ago and were dying despite all of our efforts to care for them.

Chris so accurately relayed the types of plants (colors and textures) we wanted and needed given the environmental conditions in which they’d be under, that not only did the design specialist capture the exact aesthetics we were looking for but also did it using plants that require very little attention/care on our part.

Lastly, Ryan and his crew executed the design flawlessly! Again, he and his crew were not only just as courteous and professional, but even my neighbors were impressed at how neat and clean they left my yard when they’d only completed the first day of work. Best of all, they did it all without any damage to my existing landscape lighting and irrigation system.

So, just as I started this review, what an awesome experience. My wife and I could not be happier with the way we were treated AND with the end results. Many thanks to the entire Archer Services team!

4.5 The Archer team has done excellent work on the project we started last year and have followed it through to resolve any final outstanding items! From Michael designing our yard based on Ryan's interpretation and video to wrapping it up with replacement of some trees that didn't quite make the cut, they have been a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with the final result!

The only thing that we did differently was bring in our regular sprinkler crew to do some upgrades, rather than using Archer's. We thought it best to go with a specialist on that front.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! Would give 0 stars if I could.

My husband and I were recommended Archer Services by some friends who had some wonderful work done by them. Eager to work with them my husband reached out SEVERAL times in early June and no one ever called him back. Being the nice and understanding guy, he called again a couple weeks ago to give them another chance. Archer scheduled a time to come by to take a look around. Not even a day later they called and mentioned they were double booked and could no longer come by Tuesday, 7/22. My husband put his foot down, and Archer stated they would keep his appointment. (I personally was turned off back in June when no one called us back.)
Archer did keep the appointment time and showed up on Tuesday. We had tree trimmers there so we were told by the gentlemen they couldn't do what they needed to do. So once again, we got rescheduled. Wednesday while I was out with our 2 young kids and my husband was at work they stopped by because they were in the area. No big deal. They were able to “make a plan for our yard”. Thursday, a man called my husband and the first question he asked my husband was, "So how much are you wanting to spend?" My husband responded, “How much are y’all wanting to charge me?” The man on the phone told him in a VERY condescending tone, “Well… our services START at 20 grand…” My husband was not only floored at the number, but he was also FLOORED at the way the man was speaking to him. The consultant on the phone has ZERO idea of our financials, but he assumed we couldn’t afford Archer’s services. ABSURD!
He told the Archer consultant that he knows for a fact 20 grand is ridiculous and that our friends had the same amount of work done by them for around 3 grand. If Archer doesn’t want to work with us, then just say that. Don’t give us an astronomical number for some landscaping that we know is overpriced because this isn’t our first rodeo.
Archer Services should be ashamed of how they treated us. I have worked in customer service management my entire career and I would never have treated someone so poorly nor allowed any employee of mine to. We are trying to give your our business, how dare you not return our phone calls, attempt to move our scheduled appointments, give us a quote you know is absurd, and then when we push back, complain that you were doing US a favor by coming out to see us because y’all don’t “service our area” (exact quote from your landscaping architect). The friends who recommended Archer, live 2 miles from our home. About a 6 minute drive. So, yes, I do believe Archer Services DOES work in our area of town.
Do better, Archer!

I hired Archer to design a whole yard landscape plan to complement my pool. The design exceeded my expectations. Covid hit before we were able to start the work. I was uncertain about my job so I asked them to scale back to one area that I knew would help my curb appeal. A new bed with 3 trees, bushes, and flowers. They exceeded my expectations again. I have also had them do a top soil treatment on my whole yard which improved the health of my grass and reduced the amount of water and fertilizer that I've needed. I highly recommend them!

We hired Archer to design our backyard oasis. They did a wonderful job from design to finished project. Very professional listened to our concerns and overall expectations. Would definitely recommend.
