I was given a price for a water heater about$1700+ I called 60 days later for the work. They said estimate only good for 30 days new estimate was $4400+. After some serious complaining they gave me one for $1900 it was full of dents and installed out of plumb looks like leaning tower of Piza. He left a mess on top too.

So...to be the "punctual plumber" involves driving erratically at excessive speeds, including school zones, to make sure you get where you're going on time? Truck 79 M-17631 made sure to pretty much ride inside the trunk of car before flying around me and cutting me off as we neared a construction zone and lane closure, nearly removing my front bumper. This person had zero respect for anyone else on the road and was in weaving in and out of traffic without regard for anyone else on the road. Followed him/her from 1187 and 35W where they rode my bumper and proceeded to nearly take off my front bumper, all the way to 1187 and FM 157 in Mansfield. At one point we went through a school zone, 35mph, where, if it had not been for cars in both lanes doing the school zone speed limit, he/she would have been flying. He/she was in their trunk the entire time.

If you want to drive like an entitled, selfish individual, I recommend not doing it in a commercial van with the companies name plastered all over it.

They charged my 85 year old mother $4000 to replace her 50 gallon electric water heater. The tank itself was $2500 and they charged $250 to move her dryer out of the way and $250 for connection hoses, $120 for the pan, and $240 for secondary assistance. When I question the ethics of the cost, more than double what it cost me to have commercial hot water heater installed at my business, they said that “she signed off on it”. They fact they would take advantage of the elderly, and then “give her” a senior discount is beyond brazen. I’ve called and complained and had the pleasure of speaking to their robotic script reading call center staff who held firm that my mother signed off and paid for the services. I’m calling around other providers I found the average price was $1500-$2000 for the services they provided. While not criminal, I find their business approach morally reprehensible and strongly urge everyone to avoid them at all costs. Both literally and figuratively.

From the consultation to filling in the last dirt, excellent service. Due to having an old house every pipe had to be replaced. The work started 20 minutes after the consultation and was given up to 10 days to finish which they did in 7. Minimal mess was made and everything back in place and working beautifully when they finished.

This place doesn’t charge by the hour. They charge however much they feel like they can get away with charging. They charged a $69 service call fee, $230 to change a hose bib that is $30. Okay, you gotta make money or you won’t stay in business. They charged $413 to replace a flexible gas line to the furnace with black pipe. This prob took less than 1.5 hours and $25 in materials.

I called when I found out how much they charged to see why because they didn’t leave my wife with an invoice. They said, “It’s a gas line sir. You have to have a licensed plumber to do it., etc.” Basically stating they can charge what they want.

They used about $60 in materials total and it took about 3 hours. It was $718 otd. That’s over $210 per hour for labor. Get outa here. I hope the employee got a good chunk of that at least.

My correspondence with them over the phone wasn’t unpleasant so they get 2 stars.

We had a slab leak and it needed to be fixed as quickly as possible. This wasn't my first experience with BF so I knew when I called I would get a quick response time and evaluation of the situation. I wasn't disappointed! They were there same day and the problem was fixed the next day by a very professional team of plumbers who were very pleasant and didn't mind explaining to me what they were doing and why. Highly recommend this company!

Run, don't walk away from this company. They quoted me $4,800 for a 50 gallon Rheem water heater electric. Decided to go on Angie's list, same exact equipment. Same exact warranty actually one year more. How is quoted 1700.00 . Again, RUN!

This was our first experience with Robert B's plumbing. Over the Labor Day weekend, we had a bad leak come up just outside our front door. On Sunday morning, we had about an 1" of water sitting in our flower bed. To have that much standing water in Texas in September is very unusual. Due to it being a holiday weekend, it was very tough to reach anyone to schedule an appointment, and we had no idea who to call for help. Robert B's was recommended by a long time friend of mine, and they did not disappoint. We scheduled the appointment, they came out, they repaired the damaged pipe, and we are rolling once again. The guys were extremely kind, courteous, and very affordable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the general DFW area for any plumbing or remodeling!

The property manager for my investment property uses Robert B's Plumbing for plumbing work. I have complained that their charges and description of work is unreasonable. For example, a tenant complained that the hot water was not working in the shower. Robert B's Plumbing did all sort of work, such as replacing the cartridge, only to note later in the bill that the cause of the problem was that the tenant unplugged the hot water heater. Robert B's plumbing charged me for all the labor and parts anyhow. The property manager also receives calls from tenants that the kitchen faucet is dripping. In almost every instance, Robert B's plumbing will charge me for fixing the faucet and replacing the garbage disposal, using virtually the same form language to describe the problem for a leaking faucet. I have instructed the property manager to stop using Robert B's Plumbing because I believe this company is untrustworthy, inflates the bill, and charges for unnecessary work.

I have been using Robert B's plumbing for 5 years now for two of my Restaurants and as well as my residence. Robert B's Plumbing has helped me in so many projects and disasters, recently he helped me eliminate a clogged drain issue which means he wouldn't have to come out as often to unclog drains which is really hurting him by reducing service calls to my restaurant which in return he loses money! But he was ok with it since my issue was solved!
I also use this company for all my home pool plumbing & gas lines. He has a staff that cares about their customers as much as he does! You have a customer for life! Thank you!
