Reviews of local pros in McAllen, Texas

Quick and available this Saturday after Thanksgiving! I awaited the lawful start date (it is required and free service by filling out the request form on Texas811.org so the phone company can mark their lines) and also called my local water utility to mark their lines. The No Dig was until 11/27.

- My neighbor called me around 8:30 AM today, to notify that they were starting in the gnarly tree that was wrapping itself into the hurricane fence. They carefully hand dug near the back alley. They just finished the second request, a dead jumbo stump that's been here before I moved (where the copper saw dust now is). We efficiently finished our transaction via Zelle around 10:30ish. 😊

Feels much more open and ready for aromatic trees. Thank you :)

Excellent service from Juan Palmas Tree, very professional , they arrive on time and they leave everything clean after working. Best prices compared to other companies and very nice workers. We loved his work.

I recently hired Juan Palmas Tree Service, and I couldn’t be happier with their work. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly skilled in what they do. They handled the job safely, cleaned up thoroughly, and the results were excellent. I highly recommend them for any tree trimming, removal, or maintenance needs.

Juan and his team were great. Fast easy and took care of all the work. Trimmed up trees and left everything nice and neat on the corner for brush pick up. Highly recommend

Service was excellent—quick to respond and they did an amazing job. Nathan and two other gentlemen came by and took on a beast of a tree. I was very impressed with the hard work these guys put in. Great prices and respectful, professional workers. Highly recommend!

I have Juan Palmas at our business this morning trimming trees best in town most competitive price. I will not use anyone else.

What a great experience. I sent them a text message, guy came out quoted the tree removal and it was done within hours. 4 40+ foot trees. Great price, fast service, and just no bs type of work. Couldn't have been happier with the service.

These guys did a great job. Nathan made sure that tree trimming was to my liking and the crew did a great job in cleaning the branches/debris afterwards. They did outstanding. They cleaned up tree pretty good. Thank you.

These guys do excellent work. They work very hard and leave a very clean site. He was also substantially lower than the other bid that I had received.

Juan Palmas service returned my call quickly and were able to do the work the following week. They did a great job and cleaned up well afterwards. They made sure that we were satisfied with everything. The price was the lowest of three estimates we had gotten. I will definitely use them again.

I have used Juan Palmas twice now. The first time I just bought the property and the trees had not ever been skinned. They did an excellent job it was a lot of work and they did it in the rain. Today they are back and doing a great job. This is the company to use. The price is great and service is good. Thanks Juan!

The two man crew did a great job of trimming my large oak tree. They have a bucket truck that allows them to reach areas a ladder cannot. I recommend them.

I reached out on a Saturday and they came out and removed my dead 20 ft palm tree the next day. Prompt and friendly response. Clean work all the way around. Price was reasonable compared to others. Thank you, definitely recommend.

So the first impression you get when you Google tree removal is who will I find that knows what they’re doing down here in the RGV? Well, I can say Juan Palmas knows what he’s doing down here. He and his crew are professionals 100% when it comes to knowledge and experience and tree trimming stump removal. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for this type of work.

This company provided an exceptional service. I was happy to see that they were extra cautious when cutting the tree limbs that hung over my roof. They also did a great job cleaning the area afterwards. The pricing was very fair in my opinion. I would definitely recommend and use their services again.

Contacted Juan’s Tree and Palm service for a quote they came the same day. Did the work the next day. They were Reasonably priced and came when they said they would.worked hard were neat and left the job completely cleaned up. Would recommend their Services to anyone!

I called Mr. Juan to help me remove to huge old trees in my back yard. They were a threat to my wood house, the people walking on the sidewalk, the power lines and myself. The guys spent the whole day under the sun, 8-5 , and removed the trees and all debris. I am thankful. The price was very reasdonable for this type of job. I highly recommend this Company for your jobs like this.

Juan and his crew worked very fast. He came out to look at my tree and within three days it was gone. They took all the trash and branches with them. They cleaned very well after the tree was gone and removed the stump leaving behind mulch! All at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend!

Second time I use Juan Palmas for an overgrown set of oleanders, oak trees, palm trees, ixoras , planted some flowrers, and a re-mulch of beds. Nathan the team lead and the crew did a professional job and Juan came out to double check that o was satisfied with work. They showed up on time and finished in one day and even picked up the 50 bags of mulch for me at Lowes. I wish I had before pictures because everything was overgrown since I wanted to make sure what was worth saving from the freeze
