Constraction reviews in McKinney, Texas

Kangaroo Contractors did excellent work. They came out within a day of calling them - did a GREAT inspection - saw a few things that we didn't even realize and recommended a fix. They fixed a leaking vent on our roof, took down an old "direct TV" dish (repaired the roof), and installed a new and much better dryer vent. We didn't realize the dryer vent was so bad - they really saved us on that one. We approved their estimate and they were there in a few days and got everything done. VERY professional, GREAT communication, and overall a phenomenal company to do business with.

Excellent work, highly recommended! After a severe hailstorm, they replaced my roof, gutters, and some windows, and they also repaired and re-stained my fence. In all areas, they were fast, efficient, on-schedule, and highly skilled. I liked their work so much that I also had them install new gutters all around my house -- which also turned out great! Their prices were very reasonable. David and Ward were very easy to work with. I highly recommend them and Kangaroo.

Excellent service from the very beginning until completion of job. They handled all billing with Insurance company. Besides the roof replacement, the claim entailed interior painting and Sheetrock repairs. Also replaced patio doors, sun screens, gutters and downspouts. Never expected this kind of professionalism from a roofing contractor. It was the BEST experience I have ever had with any company EVER! If you want great service from a company that use quality supplies and are professional , I highly recommend Kangaroo Contractors. Project manager, was the best I have every worked with. He saw that everything was scheduled and always kept me informed. You will not be sorry to have chosen this company to do your work.

I can’t say enough how much I would recommend Kangaroo Contractors!! I have worked with many contractors and have never had the experience of integrity and punctuality that I experienced with this company. The price was more than fair and the service was exceptional and worth every penny.

For me they installed a new roof, gutters, and replaced damaged screens. Every member of their crew worked timely, efficiently, and most important honored my home. I will definitely use there services in the future.

Working with Rob to replace our roof and repair/repaint siding was great. He was responsive to inquiries and regularly on site to manage the project. Thanks for your help!

I’ve benefitted from their many services for many years (20+): painting, window cleaning, construction, roofing. Each time, I’m more than pleased with the result. I will continue using and recommending them for hassle free, dependable, and excellent work.

We had an excellent experience with Kangaroo Contractors, they washed our home's windows inside and out. They were responsive when I first called them, managed to give a quote over the phone (I knew the number of our home's windows and sq. ft.) and assigned an excellent, kind, and dedicated person to do the job. He came on time, followed what was requested in the quote -- concerning cleaning the window tracks and well -- completing the job in a timely manner. Their price was fair and the attention to detail by the person doing the work was excellent.

Rob Sielert of Kangaroo Contractors was prompt and incredibly insightful in his assessment of our needs, arranging the right solution for the job. Very happy with the results that were delivered timely and at a fair cost.

We have used Kangaroo Contractors for several projects - interior painting, replace and paint siding, gutter guards, and replace windows and have always had great experiences with them. They are professional and do excellent work. We look forward to them replacing our roof.

Rob Sielert and Ward & the Kangaroo team have done work on our roof, fence, bathroom and more. Every time has been a good experience! They care both about you and the work they do. We appreciate Rob being extremely professional, prompt and conscientious each time we've worked with him.

Kangaroo Contractors did an extensive renovation on our backyard including roofing and concrete work. They gave referrals for related electrical and irrigation work which also worked out well. David communicated well about cost and materials as well as inevitable delays due to Covid and weather. We are very pleased with the results and will be reaching out to them again when we are ready to do other work on our home.

Kangaroo Contractors replaced our roof twice in 2 years due to hail damage. Rob Sielert was the project manager and did an amazing job. We highly recommend Kangaroo Contractors

Kangaroo Contractors did an outstanding job replacing our roof. Rob has great integrity. He responded quickly, gave us a quote promptly, and did a great and thorough job.

Kangaroo Contractors did a great job on my gutter and deck work. All the work was done by highly skilled people for a reasonable price. A company you can trust.

Kangaroo's professionalism matched perfectly with the quality of work they provide. They replaced my roof all in one day which actually concerned me at first. Didn't think it was possible but after a year without having any issues, it's clear that the work was done right. I'm very pleased and highly recommend.

**Updating review for June 2025:
Kangaroo Contractors has been our go-to for several years now, and they consistently deliver outstanding results. They’ve replaced our roof, remodeled our master bathroom, and handled general roof repairs, all with top-notch quality. The bathroom remodel was particularly impressive, as they took our ideas and brought them to life beautifully.

I want to specifically call out Rob, who has been our contact with Kangaroo in every project. He quite regular makes home visits to ensure everything is going smoothly and that we are fully satisfied with the work.. The pricing is fair, often better than other contractors, making their exceptional work an even greater value.

What sets Kangaroo apart is their reliability and trustworthiness. Unlike the horror stories you hear about contractors ghosting their clients, Kangaroo is honest, dependable, and a pleasure to work with. They’ve earned our trust, and we’ll continue to rely on them for future projects. Definitely recommended in our book!

I had a very small project but they still accepted while the other contractors refused. They took it and they did very well. David and Ward were very nice and professional. Definitely will contact them for any upcoming project.

I have had Kangaroo Contractors do several projects for me from simple painting to structural reconstruction. I have been very pleased with everything they have done.
The workers are very professional and do a great job including cleaning up after the work is done.
