Holding up traffic in Mesquite during morning drop off at the elementary school. Move off the road into the designated construction parking area.

I am a Superintendent for Novel Builders. Great company . Reputable, on schedule and in budget for our Excavtion project . I recommend this company for any GC needing dirt work or retaining walls.

Hired to repair the entrance road to the neighborhood I live in. A month ago they finished tearing the road up and then they packed up and left. Its been roughly 5 weeks since any work has been done and 'the road', if you can call it that, is littered with potholes and exposed rebar. Several flat tires as a result and no logical explanation has been given to justify the negligence to our communuty.

Safety violations are a big deal. The property owner can be liable for actions by a contractor. Judging by how their employees drive, I would avoid working with this contractor.
Their employee purposefully tried to cause an accident. I am not sure why. Maybe they were having a bad day and wanted to risk damage to a company vehicle?
Contractors are a dime a dozen in Texas. I would work with someone who is less risky and more safety-minded. -
The worst contractor on the area. This job site is a mess and the road in font is a muddy mess. They drive the equipment out and down the road and run others off. They have no dust control. You call there office to talk to someone and they hang up on you. Employees just throw trash all over and the wind blows it everywhere. Just a joke of a contractor.

Great company that can handle any size project. They have a fleet of the latest and greatest equipment. The team they have is top notch.

Strictly off their project on our entry drive at Chisolm Springs in Newark......they're a joke! They "demod" our only access to the neighborhood of 500+ houses forcing 2ways of traffic up a single entry lane, which was in worse condition than the exit side. Work started 5 weeks ago but hadn't seen progress in 4 weeks which included removing all equipment from site. Their schedule states drainage and utilities would be complete 7/7 but no material has even been brought. Their poor upkeep of the "entry" has caused multiple residents to ruin tires. The news is the next contact at this point being as they only give an excuse of different phases brings different crews and equipment, that shouldn't cease all work or visibility of crews being on site.
Edit: it's now August 3, with little production added since the last review. They've shown up a couple times to work a few hours to save face, but nothing critical was done. Tires continue being destroyed from exposed rebar and what little concrete left as the road is slowly turning back into aggregate. -
Communication and the work was top notch! Highly recommend!
