Wonderful work by a great crew! Thank you John, Kaytlynn, Zach, Adam, Jorge, Edgar, and Jace! They removed a huge clump of branches from our Bradford Pear and took care of some other heavy overgrown branches on that tree. They also removed 14 dead trees from the back of the property. They were professional and skilled. They had all the right equipment including a chipper. They cleaned up completely. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Tree MDs!

This company is reliable, friendly and helpful. They will be my tree doctor for all of my trees. They did a beautiful job on two of my trees and also diagnosed one of my largest trees to help it along after it was poisoned by a lawn care service I had asked to weed around the base. They gave the injured tree an annual feeding treatment. They trimmed my trees and made them even more beautiful in a way that is healthy for the trees. I would not hesitate to recommend them going forward.

Tree MD’s came by Monday morning and we discussed in detail what our requirements were. They quoted a fair price and returned Wednesday morning to do the job. They did a great job both trimming the trees and cleaning up. Would highly recommend them.

John came out right after I requested an estimate and gave me a no-BS/no-pressure written estimate. Once I scheduled, the crew showed up on time and did an awesome job. High quality crew delivered a high quality job. Thanks.

HIGHLY recommend this company due to their kindness, punctuality, honesty, and swift services. I've never had to use a tree services company previously, and have relied on Tree MD's twice in the past few months. Excellent all the way around.

Highly Recommend! Same day estimate was fair. They recommended a few other trees that were dead and had dead limbs which I had overlooked. Crew came as scheduled and very professional and thoroughly cleaned up anything left on ground.
Their equipment was in excellent shape. Exceptional experience

The photos re before and after. They did a very nice job. It seemed the trees were in ruff shape. I believe and hope this service will save them.

The crew was outstanding! Very professional and courteous of our property. It was amazing how fast the two trees were removed and the new ones planted. They cleaned up as if they were never here!!! Definitely would recommend them to anyone whom need trees trimmed or replaced. Their knowledge of the different trees was awesome.

After my initial review, I wanted to provide an update. The company reached out and resolved the issue professionally. They acknowledged the misunderstanding about the original estimate and corrected the situation.

I appreciate that they took responsibility and made things right. Good customer service and communication in the end. Thank you for handling the situation properly.

The guys from Trees MD did an outstanding job. We got a quote for both the front yard and back yard, but we elected to go with just the backyard first, since we had just got the front yard re-sodded. We will definitely call them back to do the front yard latter in the year. The guys were very meticulous in cleaning up after all the work they did.

Four guys came on time and trimmed the two oak tree limbs hanging over the pool. Excellent communication. Excellent work. Great clean up and very reasonable price

I have used Pool Scouts for couple years now and couldn't be happier. They are very dependable and do a great job of keeping our pool clean and ready swim all summer long. I highly recommend hiring them for your pool you won't regret it.

Pool Scouts is an amazing company! We werent happy with our previous pool company and so we called Pool Scouts. We told them our waterfall wasnt working and they had someone out there within the next 2 days and they fixed our issue of having a cracked housing compartment and within 2 hours they had it fixed. They were upfront about pricing and very friendly and knowledgeable. We now have them servicing our pool every week because we can trust their quality of service and transparency. This is a company you WANT as your pool company!

Matt was great. His extensive experience found things I didn't even realize were wrong. My pool cleaner that drives itself around the bottom of the pool would not make it up into the shallow part, but he did a simple fix and now it works great, I didn't even know you could make an adjustment like that. he also did a great job cleaning the pool and fixing my filter. I definitely would recommend these guys for any pool work from cleaning to repairs.

Incredible service. Ownership is everything at pool companies as you’re going to have a ton of turnover on the people providing the service. John (owner), David (right hand man), and Kent (lead technician) are an incredible team. Stop looking anywhere else for pool services and hire these guys. They’ve been our provider for years and recently worked with us to install new lights and were extremely accommodating to special circumstances.

Contacted Pool Scouts of McKinney based on a direct mailer flyer for service offering and a discount offered for first service. Owner was responsive quickly over weekend and offered a fair price for a simple pump replumb/installation. Provided discount (offered by direct mailer) to the simple quote proposed and we aligned on service date. Just prior to day of service, was informed the tech had a med emergency in the family and would not be able to install pump. I kindly expressed my understanding and thoughts for the tech and his loss, and then kindly asked, when could someone else be scheduled. Was told that was there only one tech in the company and there was no eta at that time as to when the pool could be repaired due to an unknown duration of their tech's absence. I understand these things happen and asked them to keep me up to speed as to when they could reschedule. I texted the following day to inquire if there was an ETA for rescheduling, and was informed "well sir, many customers are waiting for their pool to be serviced, not just you". As my pool got worse over next couple days, I decided to hire another contractor to help me get the work done over the weekend. On Monday, I get a text message in the middle of the morning (first time hearing from them since the cancellation notice) that a tech is 20 mins away from house. I informed them I am not home, I would have expected more notice, and the work has already been done. I asked them to please cancel my quote and refund the deposit I had made. I was told by Sue on the phone that I may not get the money back because the tech was enroute. I said, "that's absurd, you cancelled on me and then tell me i don't get deposit back when you suddenly have someone ready to complete work and couldn't bother to call me to keep me up to speed or see if I still needed work". And now you want to keep the deposit?!? It's not the money, it's the gall of a company paying dearly to get new customers, to act any other way then kindly in trying to resolve the situation they created. They could have just as easily said, "sir, we totally understand, sorry again for the inconvenience. Glad you got your pool fixed. We'll get you your money back and hope to work with you again in the future." Common sense, right? I called the office, spoke to Sue, and requested again I expect the deposit back. She hung up the phone on me and then texted that my appointment had been cancelled and the deposit would be returned to me. At this point, I could have and should have left this review, but got busy and thought "well, if they do what they should do, what they committed to do, then I would write this off as a bad experience and simply not patronize them again". Almost 2 weeks later, no refund. I then call and speak to John today, presumably the Owner, not sure. I kindly say who I am, what the circumstances were, and that I was following up on a refund of the deposit. Unsolicited, he proceeds to tell me how he remembers things from his point of view (passive aggressivley) and I mentioned he forgot to mention that his guys were on way without any notice, without any validation that I would even be at home. His response: "well thats what we do, we text when we are 20 mins away". I respond, "I had no clue they would be coming on that day, why would a text telling me they are 20 minutes away when I didnt know to be home and couldn't be there for them to do the work help me at all?!?" I say, "I am not going to relitigate this, please refund the money or I'll simply call Amex, not going through this again with you". He tells me to call Amex... Unbelievable! Lodged dispute w/Amex, maybe he keeps the $36 bucks, maybe not. Either way, review will cost more than that.
Response to Owner Response: No apology, no acceptance or accountability, just deference and ignorance. Let that guide your selection in choosing a provider. Changing to 1 star accordingly

Knowledgeable team! They turned our green pool in a nice pool. The Technician was so helpful and treated our pool the best for us without going through a big hassle.

We have used this company over the past 3 years and could not be happier with our experience. From cleaning to reworking our lights the whole team has been professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Their quality of work in all areas has been top notch. It is rare to find a pool company that combines transparency and true professionalism but Pool Scouts delivers on all fronts. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pool service they can trust

We hired Pool Scouts to repair our flagstone. These photos are just a few that show John Scott's poor workmanship. He refused to correct. Lawsuit filed
