From the initial pool inspection to the repairs and on into the weekly service Pool Scouts everything has been timely professional and seamless. The best part is the communication from the team. Not just reminders about appointments, but also the detail behind the service and updates are really helpful.

Pool Scouts has always done a great job of diagnosing and repairing our pool issues. We’ve been using them for 6 years and have always received great support and service. John and Ken are the best!

I spoke with the owner John and he was very reassuring that he could offer the help that I was in need of. I really enjoy maintaining my property and pool myself, but the mustard algae and pool fleas were out of my control this year.

John sent out Kent and he was very professional and thorough while checking my pool equipment and chemical levels. Kent went through every step of how to keep my pool water balanced. I feel very confident in my choice of choosing Pool Scouts to help this Do It Your-selfer.

Pools Scots has been awesome experience. My pool person is very knowledgeable and explains any question I have in detail. The service department has been quick to respond and get my IAqualink system working with my IPhone etc
After many tries with companies that tout their service, I have finally found one that actually performs with excellence

Pool Scouts of McKinney pool inspection during escrow told me everything “ looked great”. No communication when requested. Now we find out weeks after closing that our pool has numerous leaks! Expensive repairs due to unreliable inspection! Beware!

Pool Scouts has been great with their service and pool cleanings. We switched to them two weeks ago after being with Riverbend Sandler for over 10 years!! I would do it again in a heartbeat! ❤️

Sam showed exceptionally kind caring concern when he first consulted with me about our in ground gunite spa and equipment. It was built in mid-80s and lovingly maintained by my husband who can no longer take care of it. The spa had become an overwhelming chore for me. Sam's enthusiastic and positive approach has been a blessing and I am grateful that he accepted us as his client.

Felipe has always provided us with excellent service. He patiently answers any questions we might have and is very attentive. We are very happy with our weekly cleaning service with him.

This is my first experience owning a pool. Carter allowed me to Shadow him and he explained what he was doing and why. He was very sweet and pleasant and patient with me and my questions. Shannon has kept me updated on scheduling and John has been texting me about the pool plumbing. You get the entire team with Pool Scouts.

Every 6 months I'll call Pool Scouts for DE Filter Cleaning. Because they are very professional and do a great cleanup job. Today Matt came out and did an exceptional job while he was training Gavin.

We had a storm come through on Thursday night and it knocked one of potted palms into our pool as well as a great deal of debris. We had a birthday party being hosted at our pool on Saturday. I called Pool Scouts and they sent Matthew out. He was out early Friday afternoon to get us back up and running. He did a great job making our pool sparkle and ready for our party. They were reasonably priced, especially since this was for an emergency storm cleanup. I couldn’t be happier with their timeliness and quick response. Thanks again for giving us great service.

Tried out Pool Scouts of McKinney based on their “free first cleaning” offer. It sounded great—until they showed up, barely cleaned the pool, and then charged me anyway. I reached out to let them know how poor the service was and reminded them of the free visit they advertised. They apologized, promised to come back, do a proper job, and comp the second visit.

They did return and did a slightly better job, but then charged me $60 for chemicals—more than the cost of the cleaning itself. For context, they barely charged for chemicals on the first visit, when the pool was in worse condition.

To make things worse, they tried to upsell me a pool robot and offered to “program” it for me… even though it’s a plug-and-play Aiper device that doesn’t require any programming. It felt like a sales tactic to take advantage of someone unfamiliar with pool tech.

After I canceled service, they still sent someone out for a third visit without my approval.

Overall, a really frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend them—they were misleading and untrustworthy. For what they charged for one (supposedly free) visit and one paid visit, you could get a month of service from most other reputable pool companies

Pool Scouts took care of my pool all year and I can notice the difference. I was able to start using my pool sooner and longer than when I was maintaining it on my own. They also give me tips on what to do when they come by for upcoming seasons and even to deal with all the pollen I get in my pool. I recommend them 100%.

Pool Scouts is a five-star experience that is highly impressive! After moving to West Plano three years ago, we tried many pool cleaning services and we were always dissatisfied with their efforts or lack there of…green algae, a dirty pool, and technicians who constantly missed their scheduled appointments to our home. After giving Pool Scouts a try, we finally found the very best in the business!
Every week our service technician not only shows up on time after sending a courtesy notification, but does an excellent job vacuuming, cleaning, and adjusting our chemical levels. Pool Scouts are always very courteous and professional!

They always take amazing care of our pool. I’ve never had to deal with any problems because they always have it handled. Most of all, they are very reliable. We had a pool emergency while out of town on a holiday. I left a voicemail and we were taken care of right away. Cannot thank them enough for helping us in every situation.

I have been very pleased with the service and quality of my weekly pool and spa cleanings since starting with Pool Scouts in August. Matt has been an excellent and friendly technician, and sends a report after each visit showing the before and after pictures and an invoice breaking down everything that was used for the cleaning. After letting my last pool person go due to him being unreliable, I tried cleaning it myself. It was daunting and didn't want to ruin my pool equipment by improper maintenance. I highly recommend Pool Scouts to anyone shopping around for reliable and excellent pool service!

Exceptional attention to detail and reasonably priced. He used a black light to be sure he got everything and all his machines did a very thorough job. Smells great, looks great for carpet from 2016. Very impressive
