We can't thank Southernwind Pools enough for all of the work they put into our beautiful pool. The entire team including Moses, Angela and Drew truly went above and beyond to help us get everything done in a timely manner. The communication throughout the process was especially on-point. This pool building experience was the best we've had and we will continue to highly recommend Southernwind to friends and family.

Southernwind Pools provided a great design incorporating their creativity in design while also implementing what we wanted. Construction process was managed efficiently and we ended up with a great pool and outdoor living areas.

Very satisfied with the service and quality of work received from Southernwind Pools. We did some renovation on our pool that is approx. 12 years old. Mark R. was great in helping us pick out tile/stone... having the showroom was extremely helpful. Mark was great at giving us our options and honest recommendations. Crews were timely and respectful. Looking forward to having them help us with our outdoor kitchen... Very highly recommend Southernwind Pools.

We had Charlie Burton manage our pool build in 2019 and to this day he still takes my calls or texts with any random question I may have. Our family values that type of relationship and can not say enough about how amazing Charlie is to work with and how many times he has gone above and beyond.

Southernwind Pools built our pool in 2019 and we've had them handle all of our service since then. They respond quickly to any problems with the pool and we love our weekly technician Garrett who cleans/services our pool!

We shopped around for the best pool contractors in the DFW area. We don't have the biggest backyard, so it's probably a relatively small job—and some contractors treated us that way, never even calling back after inspecting our backyard space. Southernwind was on it tho!

Fast forward to the present and our pool is done, beautiful and a joy to experience. Moses did amazing custom design and the team of Charlie and Esteban handled the day to day work and overseeing subcontractors. Both are a joy to work with. We're very happy with the results!

We are so please with the purchase of the pool and the service we continue to receive from Southernwind Pools. It is amazing how spot on the real pool looks when compared to the one our designer, Moses Campos, helped us create. We did hit a bit of a snag during the project, as will happen when constructing something in the real world, but John, the president of the company, stepped right in and made sure everything went smoothly.

Honestly, and I think they even told me this before we started, but it does really interrupt your regular life when they are doing a project like this in your backyard. Especially if you have dogs and are used to just letting them in and out as needed. Your yard, fence, landscaping and maybe even irrigation will look nuts for a little bit, but here… 5 years later, I have zero regrets. Zero.

This has been the best purchase ($$:joy ratio) that we’ve ever made and feel we got a real value with the technology options Southernwind offered. Everything is so easy to operate and program. Thank you, Southernwind, we are so happy with how this project turned out.

Garrett did an exceptional job cleaning our pool filter today. Answered questions and took the time to explain things. He was friendly, attentive, and thorough. Highly recommend.

It’s been 2 years since our project completion. From the beginning of our design phase with Designer Clay Wager we have always been taken care of. Now, 2 years later, Southerwind is still offering great service. Nothing but great things to say about their Service Manager Larry Mendez who is constantly available to help us navigate pool ownership.

I have been a service customer with them since they built my pool in 2007. They are excellent on keeping my maintenance going so I have a sparkling pool all the time. Working with Charlie, we have kept my system up to date so I can stay current on technology and extend the use of the pool. I highly recommend their services. They are a caring one stop shop for all things related to having a great pool.

When we started our complete backyard overhaul (rehab and remodel existing pool, add outdoor kitchen and living space, fire pit, etc), Southernwind was the only company that was able to capture and expand on our vision for our backyard remodel. The team was great to work with and the results were incredible. They really delivered the “wow factor” that we were looking for and we love entertaining guests in our beautiful outdoor oasis!

We had postponed this review for quite some time, but we would like to acknowledge Southernwind Pool. In 2017, we reached out to Southernwind Pool, among four other reputable companies in DFW, and in 2022, we decided to move forward with installing a pool. As first-time pool owners, we were initially overwhelmed, but Moses, the designer, put us at ease. Despite our sloped backyard, Moses did an excellent job with the design.

Like any construction project, there were challenges, but Southernwind promptly and professionally resolved them. Building a pool is like building a house; delays due to materials, labor, and weather are inevitable and part of the process. It's normal to have moments where you wish you had done things differently. One aspect we regretted was not adding more lights, so it's advisable to discuss lighting options with your designer based on your pool's size. Apart from that, we are thrilled with our pool. Even after completion, we had numerous questions, and Greg kindly came over to explain the systems to us.

During a recent winter storm, our pool had a 2-inch sheet of ice on top. We contacted Southernwind Pool for guidance, and Greg promptly called back to advise us on what to check and reassured us. Working with Southernwind has been a pleasant experience.

Southernwind built an amazing pool for us and we rarely have repair issues but when we do they are prompt, professional and great to work with. Highly recommend them !

Clay Wager is amazing to work with! He listened To all our requests and ideas and was able to come up with an amazing concept.! He is really an exceptional designer and is able to think outside the box and come up with ideas that are not like all the others. Southernwind was a pleasure to work with. They finished our project on time and in budget I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody!

We are currently under construction and can’t wait for the finished product. Certainly, the weather has delayed some timelines, although who can control that - only GOD can. That said, we are extremely impressed with the design Rane created for us & the current outcome of our backyard oasis, spearheaded by JT. Stay Tuned for more…

Southernwind designed and built my pool in 2022/23. I worked with a few other companies and they had the best design and overall value proposition. During and after construction, if an issue arose, John and team made sure I was properly taken care of at every turn. On the service side, Larry (manager) is absolutely top notch and always makes sure I am happy with the service. John and Larry’s consistency in making sure that the customer is happy and treated fairly is the main reason why I am leaving a 5 star review, they’ve earned it.

We absolutely loved working with Southernwind Pools. The quality of work was top notch. The time table for getting things done was done quickly and efficiently. All people that came to complete the work were kind and by the end of the day if the work hadn’t been done you wouldn’t have known they were there. Each day everything was cleaned up and kept neat.
We are so happy with the work and with the company. Charlie was top notch in communication. We already have referred him out to others and our neighbor’s pool work starts next week! Give them a call for sure.

I recently hired Southernwind Pools to replaster my pool, replace the tile and coping, and install a handrail. I could not be happier with the company. All work was completed in a prompt, professional manner, and everything looks great. I especially appreciated that all my communication was directly with the owner John Verselt, who promptly answered all my questions and kept me fully informed. All workmen showed up exactly when John said they would.

We searched numerous pool companies…requested quotes by all and it seemed like we were a number. Then came Rane With Southernwind Pools. We knew we would have a small service fee (Southernwind Design Fee), although we were willing to take the leap of faith. WOW!! Rane hit it out of the park.
