We have used Merry Maids for 2+ years to clean my 92 yr old Dad’s house. He and I are both very pleased with their cleaning skills as well as personable employees! They are all so nice and attentive to my Dad!

The good: the were generally on time, on schedule and allowed for day changes pretty easy. The bad: they would do ok work, then sub-par work (where I'd have to call and they would come back out and re-do the work they missed), then they would sharpen up and be better for a month then slip back into sub-par work. They also began using my products and one of my bottles of air freshener went missing. They gave me a price increase after using them for 8 months or 24 cleanings...I wasn't happy about it given that their service was lacking but decided to give them a chance and told them that if they were increasing then they needed to ensure the service would be done! After a month with the new price, we had an incident last week where the cleaning crew literally did half the job, I wasn't able to have them come back out to re-do the work and requested a refund. They were totally not compassionate to my needs, said no refund and then wanted to increase my rates again. Basically they are trying to give me the finger. So unless you want to pay for sub-par work, and having to call them and have them come back out to re-do work...use someone else!

I had been a long time customer of Merry Maids and with my last two cleanings had experience a serious lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge in diversity. One maid waltz into our home stating she was giving instructions to not touch our prayer rugs in which was never advised. Instead, it had been "discussed' among the workers. I spoke with management about the ordeal which only an apology was offered. Lastly, I get a call from my babysitter while on a date with my husband that one of the Merry Maids came into our home adjusting our thermostat and telling my children to clean up their toys (bullying). My babysitter told her that is what she was hired to do and she responded they were old enough to clean up and that it was too much. She later proceeded to make derogatory remark pertaining to a torn American flag she pulled from my children's trashcan stating to them as she waved the flag oh look a burned American flag in the trash can. Learning of this disrespectful and bullying act made us quite upset and placed a damper on the mood of our date that we ended our date early. I spoke with the manager Tisha who was apologetic but seem to make up excuses for the behavior of the workers. I asked for a refund of the last cleaning and to be removed from the contract we were considering renewing due to the lack of quality service and bigotry. Tisha refused to refund me for the poor service but claim to remove me from the contract. Management can't be that sorry for these ladies they chose to hire because they are still employed which means the company condones this type of behavior from their employees.

Rena did the best job today. We would love to have her back. She claimed she was a little slower than most. She is not slow, she IS thorough! She was able to clean while listening to Sandra talk & talk & talk. Send her back. Please.

Worst decision I ever made was going through Merry Maids! I gave them 2 chances to get my first deep cleaning done correctly, both times I did not feel the cleaning was done as promised. They used a vaccum cleaner on my wood floors and may have ruined my floors with scuff marks!!!

Your services help us enjoy a clean, neat home without aggravating chronic physical problems. Bi-weekly cleaning provided by friendly and thorough Merry Maids also motivates us to keep up with what we can do in between visits.

They are worth hiring and they are a little bit better then who I've used in the past so far. I would say once you find a good maid/maids you like request them everytime, because they all don't clean the same. I feel as though they have an A and B team. I'm one of those who don't want to keep checking after a maid comes to clean... Overall they are good, but as a whole not 5 star because every maid isn't an A...

Merry Maids coming in to clean my house for me has been wonderful! They come in and get it all cleaned within a couple of hours then I get to relax in a clean home. Jerome and Toni did great thru out!

I have no complaint about the service I receive from Shannon (who is great by the way, I called the main office to only request her to clean my house) my complaint is the main office is not the most organized and sometimes takes several calls before things are corrected. Also I wish they paid employees a more reasonable amount or % of what I pay for the service.

Tina did a much more thorough job then what we usually get. In my opinion, her performance should be what you set your standard at. All of the girls have been good and very polite but the job Tina did is what I would like to expect.
My only concern is that I would prefer to have the same girl or girls each week. I would think that would have many advantages to both you and I.

This was my 1st time using a cleaning service and they were very professional and thorough. They did an outstanding job and I was very pleased with the results. The manager came by during the process and did an excellent job answering all my questions and making excellent suggestions moving forward. Very professional and i will definitely be a return customer.

The two ladies arrived right on time. The made speedy work of getting my apartment ready to move into. Thank you, Merry Maids.

April did a fabulous job yesterday. She cleaned and dusted places that are usually missed. She took a lot of care and I appreciate that. To be honest, I had been thinking about switching services because of the lackluster job the last few times. Thanks to April and others who have done a good job, I will continue with Merry Maids.

Most always,Merry Maids of East Dallas do a super great job.
They are personable trustworthy and detail oriented. Meaning ,those dust bunnies hiding will be gone when they are cleaning!
My 89 yo dad actually enjoys knowing they are coming and helping us maintain a healthy,clean home.

The ladies were on time, friendly show up prepared, got right to work and cleaned my 2400 sq ft house in 2.5hrs!!!

They made fast friends with my 2 dogs, a boxer and a chiweenie, stopping every once in a while to pet them or throw a toy.
I was ecstatic to see them treat our furbabies with the same politeness, respect, warmth and attention they showed my home!!!
They are now coming every 2 weeks and I am thrilled!!!

Even the field manager Tina stopped by to make sure I was happy with the work, I can't wait for them to come back!!!

Great. Showed up on time. Were constantly working and not standing around. Quality of work is top notch and were very nice to deal with. We are looking forward to future buisness with them!

Edit: 4th visit was today. Voiced a few concerns after prior visit and it was taken to heart. Blown away with performance today. We have tried 4 or 5 other services but this is the first we have kept after one time.

If I have one complaint it would be website, wish I could see what my package includes per clean and change it on the fly.

Tiffany who helps with our home is so sweet and professional of course. From the first day she came she listened to everything we needed. My Mother who is elderly Tiffany understood her needs she always makes sure to check with me what would be best for her that day...Regarding where she should start cleaning first because I have to help Mom to the den for her room to be cleaned. She is the greatest and the dogs adore her too. Don't worry, I put them up not to disturb her. I love the Vacuuming and tile work that is done! The wood work and polishing is good too along with the bathrooms. We thank you for your services and always being here for us on our scheduled time. It is so important to me. Martha and Jerome came right on time and they did a fantastic job! They talked with me and my husband and asked lots of questions to make sure that our expectations were met. They were extremely professional and a joy to work with and have in our home. Merry Maids of East Dallas, do whatever you can to keep this valuable team. The maids are all so nice and polite. Generally, I’m happy with the cleaning service. My issue is the consistency with the cleans. It can change depending on the maid or maids assigned.

Provided them with my own vaccuum, steam mop, towels and natural cleaning supplies. Mainly because they wanted to use a dirty mop in my home. As well as towels that I couldn't tell if they were clean. This was the worst service I've ever had and will never work with this company again. I have a really clean home, and to have someone spend an 1.5 hours to clean a bathroom, makes no sense at all. Especially because our house was a new build. We don't even use that bathroom. I still don't understand what she was doing with the door closed that whole time. Don't use this service unless. And they will send you a contract and you are locked into using them for 10 cleanings no matter what. BEWARE!
