I love my Merry Maids team Harleigh and Victoria! Harleigh has been with me for at least 6 years and Victoria for 4years! They are wonderful!

These were just some of the pictures that I took after the maids got done cleaning. One of the maids was on the phone with her husband and said that she needed to get off so she could get home. This made us feel like she was in a hurry to get out of our house and this is the kind of job that they ended up doing. All of the shower hardware looked like it had water spots all over it. All I did was took some bleach and took it off. The floor in our workout room they didn’t even clean. They didn’t pick the rugs up and vacuum underneath them so there was stuff all underneath them after we picked them up. There was a pile of dust on my table that after I swept my hand across it, it came flying off my hand, which I do have a video of. It took me and my husband another two hours to go back through and do what they didn’t do. They wanted to send those cleaners back out which we didn’t have time for because we were taking pictures the next day to put our house on the market. The same cleaners not a different group. There were places in our bathrooms that they said they couldn’t get up, but we ended up getting them up just using bleach and vinegar stuff that professional cleaner should know how to clean up. I would highly not recommend them.

Yolsika has cleaned my home for a number of years. She is a good person, hard working, trustworthy and dependable.

Our floors and baseboards haven't looked this good in over a year. Our rugs and carpet are soft and fluffy again. And our stove top shines. We are so grateful for the work that was done in our home. We especially love that there is no chemical smell, especially in our bathrooms. It's a real treat to have a home this clean.

This is a disappointing turn of events but this is a warranted change in this review. The wine cooler/fridge was not secured properly in my 700k+ home. This was brought to the attention of my castlerock agent the day of closing 3/30/2026 as of 4/10/2026 it has not been addressed and there was no effort made to correct it. I ultimately had to call their number reach a different agent and request her assistance. Similarly this new home was missing its fridge when we did the walk through but placed before closing. The ice was left on in the fridge but the power was cut after closing. This left a large puddle of melted ice on the wood flooring right in front of my fridge. I was given a warranty number to call to get this addressed. If this is how we treat paying customers who likely bought one of the most expensive homes in this community, what sort of care will you receive?

As a small business owner it really pains me to leave a negative review but as a business owner myself, I know how important reviews are when customers are making a decision of who to do business with.

Cristy Simpson was the agent I worked with. She was helpful and prompt. We saw the home in March and closed on 3/30. CastleRock seems to be fair in their dealings but I have not moved in and cannot comment on quality yet. Home is beautiful and their process was all mostly good.

Interlinc, their internal bank was honestly a huge waste of time. They connected me with Caltex broker Joshua Wilson who made this purchase possible with my timeline.

The absolute worst builders to work with. We had the worst experience trying to buy a house with this builder and would never recommend them to anyone. After doing research I see just how horrible their reviews are and now I know why. The lenders are the absolute worst and advised us to do things I later found out were huge issues. I was told by one of their loan officers that it was best to quit my current job and find one that was compliant with their requirements. I did just that because I was told “it’s fine, even if you make your current job give you a w2 for 3 weeks. As long as it states that then you are fine and we don’t check up on you after”. Me being the naive and unknowledgeable on the home buying process, I went with whatever was said so that my husband and I could close on our home. Later we were told by the president of Castlerock Communities that the bank never planned to work with us and we were basically strung along in hopes we would back out of the deal so they could keep our earnest money. We are newlyweds and saved up to place that money down. Our mistake for ever trusting this company. Instead of just denying us and letting us search for a house we could afford, they knew they could get some money out of us and that’s exactly what they did. After this HORRIBLE experience with them. We just closed on our first home in a beautiful neighborhood in Rockwall with the best lender and realtor in the DFW metroplex. They made the process so easy and completely redeemed the home buying process for us. Funny how castlerock and their preferred lender said it was us that was the issue and no bank would work with us. But this seemed to prove wrong once we went with individuals who cared about their clients and focused on getting them into houses they liked rather than getting whatever money they could. They strung us along for months and say I lied about a job offer. I provided them with a letter that was given to me for an opportunity I got and was going to take so that I could satisfy underwriting. How stupid I was because they claimed it was not real and I was left to blame for the entire situation. I was very upset that anyone would accuse me of forging a letter. Especially since I would never do this in the position I am in (I’m a nurse and health science professional) . I then scrambled for whatever job opportunity I could get and had to be very careful who I went with considering the last issue. This was exhausting and I was stupid to ever have listened to this company. Do yourself the biggest favor and do NOT go with Castle rock communities or the lenders they have. Lucky for us we had an amazing realtor and lender we had originally wanted to work with that got us the house of our dreams. Only reason we changed lenders is because they offer all these incentives you can only get with THEIR lenders. I will be making sure I share this experience with anyone and everyone! Hope that money was worth it for them to keep. Had they just refunded the money because the mess was the result of their lenders and zero communication, then we would have just respectfully parted ways. Their lender Heather went as far as telling our sales consultant that she didn’t wanna deal with us so to go through the sales consultant for everything loan related. Really? So unprofessional. Overall 0/10 experience. Thank God we ended up happy in the end, but this builder was atrocious.

Very upset with this builder, I will not say names because, I simply don’t like to ruin peoples lives.
This builder technically likes to scam First home buyers.
The amount of money that me and my wife lost because we had no choice but to terminate the contract.
They make it seem all pretty and stuff until the very end. They give you no choice either live house broke or loose all of the deposits you put into the home.
Also they allow there sub contractors to drink on job sites. Found beer cans around the construction site.
I could have lawyered up if I wanted to but I’m very nice of a person.

Bought my first house with Jerilyn, I was overseas but she made it work with the time difference and international wire transfers. Best sales experience I ever had. Home is awesome and 1/3 price of same in plano. Best decision we ever made. THANL YOU JERILYN!!!

Absolutely LOVE this community! The purposeful use of landscaping and the Amazing amenities center sold us on Solterra. We were able to choose our lot location and model from a large selection at CastleRock. The floor plan is exactly what we were looking for in our "forever-home". We loved the design process and all the options available to make the house truly feel like our home. Our realtor walked us through the entire purchase/build/closing, and the Construction Manager and Sales team kept us up to date throughout the process.

CastleRock Solterra was an amazing place to host our team event! From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and welcoming. They provided food, drinks, and folders with detailed information, which made the experience both comfortable and very informative.

The homes were beautiful, the space was perfect for collaboration, and the level of detail shared about the community and properties was excellent. The customer service was outstanding attentive, professional, and truly supportive of agents and their teams.
