This is a phenomenal place. Many years ago, Don, serviced my grandfather’s A/C unit and refused pay. My grandfather was in his upper eighties at the time. I have used them for twenty years or more. They installed a new Daikin water pump for me four years ago and my electric bill dropped quite a bit as Don told me it would. They have people on call 7 days a week and they strive to service you as soon as possible. Don has passed but his wife continues his legacy with the company offering the same great service and knowledge.

During one of the coldest times this winter, we had issues with our heating systems. We were fairly certain what the problem was, but knew it was beyond our capabilities to fix. We called first thing on Monday morning expecting a little longer response time considering the time of year. However we received a call less than 2 hours later saying they were on their way. Luckily it was just the thermostat and was quickly replaced and while he was here checked everything else. We had previous experience with Don's AC and knew they were someone we could trust to be fair and honest about what we needed. Thank you, Don's.

Justin called back the same day we called Don's AC to ask for someone to come out and estimate replacement details for the decrepit HVAC system installed in 1982 which finally gave up the ghost last week. He arrived the same day we called, showed us how and why the old system had failed, talked about repair options and rough cost estimates for those repairs and then promised to call back to provide an estimate for a new system. The estimate for a new system was provided as three options with pros and cons for each.

We chose an option after emailing Donna to ask for model numbers of the new system components. Within minutes after receiving our email she provided the model numbers so we could look over the system specs in detail. The next day we told them we were ready anytime they were for them to come out and do the job. They responded quickly again and before the end of the same week Justin and crew arrived to do the install. Three hours of steady, focused work later the installation crew (Brian and Allan) had the old system removed and the new one installed. Their work was fast, efficient and neat. They hauled off the old system components.

Justin then came back that same evening after normal work hours to inspect the installation, add a bit more freon, fixed a minor control wiring issue, configured the new system and ran it through its built-in tests. After all tests passed, he then patiently showed us how to use the system providing every pertinent bit of information imaginable and answered our questions.

The system ran flawlessly during the night as temperature outside dropped to a low of 22ºF, giving both the heat pump and emergency heating elements a good workout. An excellent experience all around–especially in these strange times of overworked, short-staffed workforces in the middle of this strange pandemic. Thanks to everyone at Don's AC involved in this project (including Donna back at the office and anyone else we didn't actually meet or communicate with).

Without slightest reservation, we highly recommend Don's AC.

I called them at 3 o’clock on Friday. They were out here around 4 o’clock to fix the AC. Brandon and another gentleman that was with him was really easy to get along with and you could tell that they knew what they were doing and very professional. I would for sure recommend them to anyone.

Excellent customer service and very professional. Standard AC service in the sense that I had no idea when they would come, so a 30 minute service cost me 10 hours of my time and lost revenue. But that's pretty par for the course when it comes to these types of services. When he showed up, he was very professional, polite, and thorough. I will absolutely use them again. I just wish a company could provide a window of time without it costing the customer all day waiting around. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Called at 6:12 pm on a Friday because our air conditioning was not working in 100 degree heat. A message was left with the answering service. I tried following up as the night went on. I finally received a phone call back at 9:59 pm. The guy on call said we’re not talking calls. I found out from the supervisor that calls were supposed to be taken, but the on call forgot the on call phone. Stating the truth is best when running a business. Waited in the heat till next day, at 11:00 am to repair. The supplies to fix the problem was $20. Even though I waited all night for a call, lied to, then waited till the next day at 11:00 for the repair, the invoice was the full after hours charge and labor over $300. I followed up on the complaint after several days thinking a partial refund or credit towards future service would be issued after reviewing the employee’s actions and customer time waited. However nothing was offered.

I bought an A/C from these folks a year and a half ago. After the install, I have heard nothing from them, no follow-up calls to check on how things are going, anything. I recently reached out to them to ask if they had a biannual tuneup program. After answering the phone, I was promptly placed on hold and no one returned to the line. After 15 minutes I hung up and reached out to Cote Mechanical and will work out a deal for tune-ups with them.

I called on Wednesday, they said they would have someone out the next day to check on my unit. After they didn’t get anyone out to me by Friday, I was worried about having to go all weekend without AC. When I called back on Monday (feeling hot and frustrated, but justifiably) they said they would have someone out by the end of the day. They didn’t! I’m not sure what happened or who missed the memo, but I had to call another company. Please just let your customers know if you can’t get to them, rather than letting them bake in a 90 degree house all weekend!!!!!
